Big campground with a little of everything. Rough hilly roads to the outskirts and along the water for some amazing wooded tent sites and nice easy access up front for the RVs. Great general store and a country setting. Not fancy but has it all, including many showers and a laundromat that wasn't busy. Bugs were minimal even by the marsh, late August. The lobster (crazy amazing thing to have it delivered freshly cooked to our tent at 8pm) was better than the Virginia Eastern Shore lobster we tried a couple weeks ago. Great gem of a campground.

Nice family campground with open field RV sites, and wooded RV and tent sites. Only 1 bathhouse but wasn't an issue. The big draw is the closeness to Popham and the pick-your-own lobster in the office/snack shack which is then delivered cooked right to your site! Campground room service! So delicious! Pool, bounce house, playground for kids and on Saturday night they had karaoke. Fun atmosphere.Food & drinks: Lobster and all the fixings can be delivered right to your campsite

First time here. Nice wooded lots, and an open area also. Staff has been friendly, as we as other campers 😁.Needed to upgrade from 20 amp power to 30 and it was no problem, we were even slowed to change and choose our spot!!Would stay again.

Easily accommodated our 36' toy hauler, various sites for RVs, tent campers & some cabins. Beautiful sites, nature trail to large beaver, lots of activities for families. Small restaurant onsite. We ordered "pick your own" lobster, baked potatoes & corn on the cob. Food was delivered to the camp site, hot & ready to eat. It was delicious!Playground: Playgrounds available, lots of activities scheduledRestrooms: Restrooms clean, separate laundry area. 3 new washer/dryer combos that accept credit cardDog-friendliness: Pets welcome. Lots of area to exercise pets.Picnic area: Most sites have fire pits, wood available onsite. Activities building has lots of picnic tables, indoor pool table, video games, paintball etc.

I would not recommend renting their bunkhouse camper, pictures on line must be from when it was new. The grab handle is missing, there is a soft spot on the kitchen floor, there was so much dirt on the air conditioner vent that we had to clean it, the couch is broken and material is peeling off, the awning is broken and The mattresses are not really mattresses just pads. Just not worth the money they charge for it. Location is great to Popham but, for us, the experience was not.

We stayed at Meadowbrook Campground and was extremely “Happy,” there! We had Campsite #57, back in the woods and it was “Beautiful, Quiet,” and just what we needed! The “Breakfast,” is well worth $7.75, for “Three Pieces of Texas French Toast, Three Sausage Links & Tons of Crispy Homefries! Best of all, this is a family run “Campground,” and the People are “Over The Top Friendly!” A Bonus, they had “ Gifford’s Hand Dipped Ice Cream! We will definitely be back!Nearby activities: We visited the town of Bath & Loved the “Shipyard, City Hall, The Shops & The Park!”Food & drinks: The campground fixed Food all day long!

Great location for camping and day tripping at Popham Beach (get there early).Cons:The place was somewhat rundown. Amenities weren't great with no shuffleboard (broken and only 1 disc), broken pool table with damaged sticks, bounce house with pools of old slimy water, and broken arcade games. Couldnt play paintball as staff weren't available.Sites are very close together. General store is not great.Pros: Karaoke (Sat night only) was fun and a nice event. Rental RV lodge was comfortable and decently cleaned. Campground staff were pretty friendly

- Excellent legacy campground -Meadowbrook is the opposite of the corporate, cookie-cutter campgrounds that abound nowadays. It has been family owned and operated for generations, and in atmosphere and personality, it fondly harkens back to an almost bygone era. Most of the property boasts a mature tree canopy. The sites are incorporated well into the landscape and are of decent size and quality. There are cabins and RV's for rent. The bathroom facilities are clean, in good condition and sufficient. There is a central clubhouse with a nice pool and patio area, adjacent to a large lawn. The property consists of 60 acres of mostly undeveloped forest and marshland, and features a walking trail, large beaver pond, and a paintball course. There is a cafe serving breakfast and lobster dinners daily, along with many other menu offerings, all at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and hospitable. The overall vibe at Meadowbrook is relaxed and peaceful.Considering the high property prices in this developing area, and its proximity to Popham beach and other coastal sites, we are fortunate to have such a terrific and affordable campground to enjoy. May it stay around for generations to come!Ratings (5 point scale):Scenery/ambience 5Tent site quality 5Tent site size 4Tent site spacing 4Bathroom facilities 5Campground amenities 5Prices 4Noise levels 5Safety 5Nearby recreation 5Overall score: 95/100 (5 stars)

This little Campground is a great place to disconnect from society, they do offer cabins for those who don't want to tend or bring a camper in, we however, took one of the camping sites and brought our camper in. There is a pool with any Food Shack basically center of the campground and there is a few trails that you can do minor hikes on that loop around alongside of a boating swamp/marsh/pond on the opposite side of the campground. The view of the woods is quite nice. Tekkies beware though, the wifi didn't work the entire duration of stay so it was data only the days we were there.Rooms: This Campground has a few cabins but it is mostly camp sites for camper or tenting. That being said it has a lot of nature based camp sites.Walkability: Bike or cart recommended if camping on deeper side of Campground.Food & drinks: Sells lobster basically year round at market price, plus has a general store and a food shack style facility on site.Noteworthy details: The wifi is super spotty/non-existant at times, but cell reception is ok and it's a great way to disconnect!

Quiet and peaceful at night, not a party place. Mostly retirees and families passing through. There were a lot of yappy dogs near us during the day. The field we stayed in didn't have a lot of shade, but there were nice sites up in a shaded Grove we would go for next time. We had some steamed class delivered to the site which were great!

If you are looking for a campground on the southern coast of Maine this is one to avoid. It is an old private campground that is not well maintained and it shows it. The site I was assigned to could not accommodate my RV. We requested another site. They only offered one and that one was barely large enough to park a car. Plus it was surrounded by old 5th wheels that had seen their better days. They belonged in the junkyard. It was late so we stayed the night the best we could. The next day we left, 5 days early. They refused to refund our money. The office staff was very rude and unhelpful. In my opinion this is one of the worst campgrounds we have ever seen or experienced. Look elsewhere

The service is great. Staff is very friendly. Sites are OK- uneven, hilly, rustic. The area is magical, the walk to the Beaver pond especially so. Ok, but what sets this place above and beyond... a great lobster dinner delivered to your campsite. Very reasonably priced too. What a deal!

Best 2 night of camping! Had meals delivered right to our door.... Lobster for Dinner, and variety of breakfast meals too. Friendly staff, went out of their way to accommodate. Never had to leave the grounds for anything. Sites were good size, nice trails to walk. Will go back if ever in Maine again! Thanks for making our stay awesome!

This was a great camping spot. Very quiet and friendly. They serve some good food there for a good price and on top of that they will deliver it to your camp site. The staff is great, the bathroom is clean and it's a short drive to many surrounding towns with things to do. Less than an hour from Portland, Freeport and more.

Absolutely wonderful people and a great area to camp. We had a tent site and were worried about the weather so upon inquiring about some cabins one of the owners gave us a deal on a cabin upgrade and even offered us a heater to make sure we were warm!We ate lobsters that the folks working there made for us in a beautiful little cabin with a view of the pond. It was a great experience, highly recommended 👌

Great way to spend a couple of days!! It's also a Passport America park which makes it even better! It's not a fancy park, but it sure has everything, including a heated pool and showers! You can even order a lobster dinner brought to your door! The owner is a really nice person and Shannon is one of the cooks in the snack shack, she's great! I would definitely highly recommend a visit.

This is a great "dog-friendly" place for families and for adults. So many amenities. I will mention a few.We had a tent site close to the pond. The view was fantastic. We had a nice deep fire pit. Wood was just $5 a bundle and they delivered it to our site! The showers and bathroom areas were nice and clean. Free hot showers. No quarters needed and we enjoyed being able to do our dishes in a large sink outside the shower area. The selling point for us was the fresh lobster, steamers, and corn that were available EVERY NIGHT!!! You could eat your lobster steamer feast in the dining room off the office or take it with you. You'd think it would be expensive considering, but it was very reasonable. My husband and I ordered it twice during our stay. We also tried sandwiches at the Snack Shack attached to the Rec Room. They have a wide of really good sandwiches and fresh home-cut french fries. What I noticed the most was the atmosphere and customer service. All of the people who work there make you feel welcome. There is a genuine effort to provide the best service and product they can. No phony smiles and small talk. The office also contains a convenience store for those...like me who forgot something.I would definitely recommend the Meadowbrook Camping Area to anyone wanting to get the most bang for their buck and enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing all the creature comforts. We will be going back soon!

We stayed at site 19, it's full hook up. Site is not level, but it's huge and nice view of the campground. Just bring enough leveling blocks.Staff was very friendly, and they definitely keep the place nice and clean. They have alot of food options, including fresh lobster they cook and deliver to your campsite. It's very close, 15-30 minutes, to a number of breweries as well.We did enjoy our stay here.Only issue we had and this is at no fault of the campground, was some of the people. Someone was letting off large fireworks through campsites. Propane and fireworks don't mix! Plus they could hit someone's rig/truck. Several kids walking through our site between truck and camper. Again, this is common sense and camper etiquette issues not the campgrounds.I feel like this year we have had more issues at places with camper etiquette and common sense.Anyway, we would go back here. It was a very nice, quaint campground.

My husband and I just recently returned home from 10 days at Meadowbrook, our first visit. We had a wonderful time and hated to leave. We were on site #23 on a corner. It was well landscaped, level and spacious. It was shaded and exactly what we asked for when we made our reservations. Everyone, staff and other campers were friendly and easy to talk to. The only reason for the '2' on facilities is because the bath house. Small shower stalls, however it was clean with lots of hot water and showers that worked well. How nice to have an inexpensive restaurant run by a couple who makes their own spaghetti sauce, meatballs and garlic bread! The office staff will steam lobsters for you and hand dip delicious ice cream. All of these at very reasonable prices. We can't ask for more than that!

Meadowbrook Camping Area is set in some of the most Beautiful Maine Landscapes you will ever see! The Staff as well as the other campers are all Friendly and ready to help! The Owners, The Staff and everyone were all Fantastic! I can't wait to get back up there again for a Month long stay in 2021. Check them out, you won't be disappointed! I absolutely love staying here. On the sweltering hot muggy days, the pool is nice clean refreshing. The only reason I give it 4 stars is I wish the office was open later than 8. My first time camping there, I didn't check in till later and by the time I was done setting up camp, it was too late to get firewood at 8pm. But that isn't a big deal.
