Amazing homemade seafood and desserts. Fried clams, lobster stew and fries shrimp were great. Portions aren't huge but prices are reasonable. We had the mint ice cream pie, blueberry pie and peanut butter pie for desert and all were fantastic. Even if eating inside (although there is tons of outdoor seating also) you have to walk up and order your food at the register/counter and they bring it to you when ready.

This awesome restaurant sits overlooking the picturistic harbor, with tables to eat & enjoy the view....the wharf for unloading the fishing boats is along side. one can also buy fresh seafood there. You can eat inside, buy takeout on trays to eat on the outdoors tables, or bag it to take home..The seafood here is fresh & delicious...there is also great burgers, fries, & superb onion rings anywhere. This little gem of a restaurant is off the beaten path, but easy to find. FRED says don't It. BUENOS

Definitely a come as you are but bring a big appetite! Kids are welcomed with things to keep busy. Friendly owner, there almost 24/7, answers questions with expertise and a smile on her face. Food is Excellent with the freshest lobsters that my husband Bob, brings to her daily. The most beautiful view around!! Don't forget the great deserts!!!!

Went to Anna's while staying in Phippsburg for a week. 2 of us had lobster, one the stuffed haddock, the other a lobster roll and Cole slaw. The everyrhing was fabulous. Moat restaurants Cole slaw is terrible, but Anna's was awesome. The lobster was 1 lb and 20 bucks best deal we could find. The view is amazing as well. We liked it so much we went back for another evening. Thanks again for both evenings.

Pros: Food is delicious! Prices are very reasonable. Excellent selection. The view is incredible.Cons: Not enough parking. Not enough inside seating. They do not take reservations.Fortunately, it was a nice evening so we were able to eat outside. The wind was blowing hard, so our dinners cooled off quickly. It was challenging finding a place to park. I really enjoyed my baked stuffed haddock....this is the only place on the peninsula to get baked stuffed haddock and baked stuffed scallops now. It is served with a parmesan sauce, very good and filling. Their coleslaw is the best I have ever had in a restaurant! The fries are delicious as well. We also enjoyed the homemade desserts. Please consider taking reservations! We will be back next year.

This was their last open day for the season, so they planned to stay open until the food was gone. Therefore, the menu got somewhat depleted, but the fried haddock sandwich that I had was tasty and fresh, and my friend's vegetable soup made her happy 😄. A live band was playing, some folks were dancing, and the atmosphere was friendly and convivial. The view is to die for. A sprinkle of rain didn't seem to dampen anyone's spirits!

We recently ate at Anna’s and enjoyed fried clams and lobster stew. Everything was delicious and I think it’s the best place for seafood in Phippsburg. With changes at other places this past year I think it’s the only place with fried clams and a good crabmeat roll. The view is great and when the weather is good I like to eat outside at the picnic tables. My one wish is that they had a longer season, as the close for the season prior to Labor Day.

Location is beautiful but the meals were served in a tin pan like that were taken from freezer to oven. Like a TV dinner!Definitely not worth returning. There are so many better places in the area to spend your hard earned money on and get better quality food.No waitress and we had to clean our table before leaving.

Hidden little gem! Great food, drinks, and a beautiful view! I’ve lived in Maine my whole life and have never been to this place until this year. The picnic tables outside by the waters edge were nice, many also had an umbrella for shade. We will be back for sure!

Only half of the dinners we were served were edible. The entrees were served 45 minutes after we placed our order and we did not order appetizers. The server NEVER offered refills or water or asked us how our meals were or if she could get us anything. When we stopped her to ask for water or napkins she appeared irritated with our request. I expected a great atmosphere, great food, and service. That was not what we got. The dining room is dingy, dirty, the tables and chairs are in poor repair, and the fan blowing into the dining room when you enter is filthy. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

A poem to describe my experience:Late summer sunset diningSitting on the deck,Sails crawling 'cross the seaAs we're joined by quiet company. That island there has history,This dinner joint's got charm. Our shrimp is perfect, natural, fresh,And the sights are plain divine.I've not dinedSo quaint and fineAnywhere quite like this.Fin. Go eat there. Try to catch the sunset, it's makes the whole experience perfect (as if the food AND HOMEMADE DESSERTS weren't good enough!).

The view is BEAUTIFUL, and the burgers are good (but you pay extra for cheese, and for the price, it only comes with a mini bag of chips). The wait staff are wonderful. That's why I gave 2 stars. Here's why I didn't give 5....The wait to get in, isn't usually too bad, but there's no bar if it's busy. The wait for your food, can range from 30 mins to an hour, or longer during dinner. The place is very rustic and fairly clean, but it really should be scrubbed from top to bottom, at least once a year, before they open, and they never do. It's common to see dust, cobwebs, etc. And, don't put your elbows on the table when you sit down, because they always clean them with wet rags and leave them that way.The seafood's definitely frozen (not good quality either - Inexcuseable, because there's fresh seafood available all over town!) Don't order any fried food (including the fries and onion rings) because they're the cheap, frozen kind, and are extremely greasy. For years, their frying oil hasn't been hot enough, so grease, literally drips out of the food. Gross! (It's also obvious that they don't change their oil regularly.) We only go there on occasion because it's convenient. It's unfortunate that they're not concerned about food quality there. It's probably because they live out of state. (come for the summer to make their money and leave)The chowder isn't thick and creamy. It's very watery, with not much in it. The lobsters come in just 1 size, and they're SO small that they barely look legal. (menu says 1-1.25 lbs, but there's no way) And, the lobster rolls are VERY small, and WAY overpriced (You'll be mad.). They stuff a small hot dog bun with lettuce and put 2 tablespoons of lobster salad on top, so it looks like more. (No tail meat, just shredded knuckles and a small claw.)So, go for a buger and a beer, and take some nice pics, but don't waste your money on anything else,. Go over to The Dolphin Restaurant in Harpswell. It's expensive too, but you'll get your money's worth. And, for a really relaxed atmosphere, and lobster and clams, check out Estes Lobster House, also in Harpswell. They always have a $19.99 lobster special.

Another wonderful dinner at Water's Edge. We had dinner tonight for Valentine's Day and the 4-Course Pre-Fixe was perfect. Having a Pop Up restaurant during the winter months is a great idea and we thank you for doing it. We can't wait for them to open for the season.

This should be a special place with fabulous lobster and crab in a picturesque location but unfortunately it really isn't. The service is friendly enough but the food, though nothing seriously wrong with it, is disappointing and the overall impression, in the end, depressing.

Disappointing! We had always heard great things about this place, so we called to make sure that they were open because of COVID19. We were told that they were open and that the kitchen closed at 7pm. Since it was 6:30, we rushed there only to find out that the indoor dinning room closed at 6:30. This meant sitting outside with the mosquitos. We still decided to give it a try. The outdoor picnic tables were not leveled making it very unsafe to sit. One of my little girls saw a red squirrel and went near the rocks (I will add picture. You can see the edge of the table where we were sitting down near the "dangerous" rocks). She didn't climb on the rocks, and her grandpa was standing next to her. When all of the sudden, this raspy voice woman starts yelling at us to stay away from the rocks. The whole thing was uncalled for and extremely unpleasant. We were being eaten by the mosquitos, so we disposed of our beers and took our food home. I'm giving them two stars because the fried shrimp that we ordered for the girls were delicious. My lobster was also well done. The rest of the food, including my dried up dinner roll, were a waste of money. The kids who delivered the order to our table were nice!

Really great atmosphere and the views of the ocean and islands are great. While i didnt eat any seafood, the food i had was good. The blueberry pie was good as well, the blueberries themself were great but the pie crust was ok, hence the good rating. Will definitely visit again when im up there next year.

If you think you're going to get fresh seafood at this little waterside shack, think again. While the staff is friendly and the location is gorgeous, the food was industrial and obviously pre-packaged. and not worth the rather substantial price. My fried shrimp platter consisted of really tiny shrimp (if they were 51/60s, I'll eat the box they came in) which - to be fair - were cooked beautifully, but the breading was horrible, the 1/4 c. portion of cole slaw was insipid, the cocktail sauce came from a bottle and the fries were limp and awful. The rest of the family was similarly unimpressed with the food. It's a long drive from anywhere, and while we were hoping that such an out-of-the-way spot would offer good food as a reward for the drive, we were very disappointed.

My husband and I had dinner at Anna's yesterday and the whole experience felt rather unwelcoming. We took the last table near the entrance and our waitress, Rony, seemed annoyed to have to serve us. Food was mediocre. The view out of the windows is beautiful but don't waste your time or money, very disappointing experience.

Friendly, welcoming quick service, good casual food, comfortable scenic outdoor picnic area. Didn't eat inside but looked very warm, homey traditional new england seaside restaurant.

No spot in the area offers a more beautiful setting than this. Anna's captures the rich feel of a real maine fishing community along with the finest cooking around. Truly a gem and worth a visit. We can't wait to go back.

I love this place. Ive everywhere at this place that you can think to crawl, climd, swim, run. . I grew up here with my step mom and two step sisters. My step mothers family owns this place and i just wanna say its faboulous. This is a pkace i enjoyed going to. I went off the dock and and went on lobster trips, swam, jumped off the docks, and simply had fun with freinds and family. They have were delightful food and quite filling. The sunset is gorgeous and i have gotten many great pictures. Everyones freindly and if you need help picking out something on the menu they are good with suggestions. I might as well stop blabbing my mouth now but i really suggest coming here for yourself to try things! Im now 14 and still i come here to do the same things. This place holds some of my best memories and i bet you can make some youself. I love the little cove to swim at also!
