Having this resource located within minutes of where I live provides a very convenient option for finding an incredibly diverse selection of products. It saves the Pembroke/ Charlotte/ Perry communities from being forced to make the 20 minute one-way drive to the next closest grocery option, or 30 minute one-way drive to the next closest hardware store option if they have an acute need for a specific product. No, they will not always have exactly what you need or a reasonable alternative, but more often than not they do.The employees are all genuinely friendly, and are always eager to assist customers in any way they can. They have never put any other issues ahead of my needs as the customer, and they always seem to do with a genuine desire to assist in any way they can.

Great place to grab items that you can't buy usually in our immediate area. From seasonal decor, greeting cards, paper goods, laundry & pet needs,even cell phones!. Great staff, friendly, helpful, and always pleasant with a accessible, helpful manager who always greets you with a smile.The store, staff, prices all benefit our community, as well as an outlet in the area to tourists to grab just about anything needed, locally.

I had the pleasure of receiving help from a pleasant young lady that was very helpful in finding what I was looking for. I was impressed with the variety of dog 🐕 food they had for a small store. The nice sales lady even cashed me out once ready to make my purchases. It is really fantastic how someone's positivity can make your day.

The store is a mess. You cannot walk down some aisles due to carts and boxes blocking. Merchandise thrown on floor and placed in wrong section. If a customer does not have a tripping/falling accident in this store it will be a miracle. Needs good employees and management to get this place looking like a store, not a flea market

I always enjoy dollar general but no masks or other safety precautions in place so will not be going back for a while. The aisles are also too small for social distancing.

Great place for needing things in a pinch, without traveling 30 min. To Walmart or 20 min. To the closest tip off grocery store/hardware store.

Great store to have in Pembroke Maine 😃 It saves ALOT of people trips to Calais, Machias and Eastport for all the everyday basic necessities of life and the employees are ok ppl too I GUESS😂

Post a 50% off. But when I went to pay for my items, associate would not honor the posted sign of 50%. Also, this same associate is allowing people to come in the store without wearing a mask. I will not shop there again.
