If I could give them a higher score I would. The food is fantastic and it's at a great price! But that's just the start. This family-run shop is extremely friendly! We got to meet Craig himself as well as his wife and daughters and son. Myself, my fiancee, and my cousin drove 5 hours from NH just to try this place and the experience was more than worth it! Might even make this a yearly trip! Thank you guys for such a good time! If anyone who is reading this is unsure about this place, take this as your call. This is absolutely the place to visit. I can guarantee you'll become a regular!

This is a tiny little place but absolutely delicious food. We stopped for seafood. We got the #2 platter, small lobster roll, and a haddock and scallop basket. We chose onion rings and waffle fries as sides. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly, patient and helpful as we struggled to decide which food to order. The only thing we were disappointed in was the onion rings. Just not much flavor but the waffle fries were delicious. Definitely worth stopping and enjoying fresh Maine Seafood.

Been here a few times over the years. Nice local spot in Patten, ME. The fried clam ( tenderloins ) are a favorite in our family. Craig's has lobster rolls, other plenty of other seafood and options. Great to grab take out or sit out back and enjoy. They also serve ice cream. This is a local hot spot so make sure and get there before closing.

Had their haddock sandwich basket. A good sized portion on a toasted bun. I got mine with onion rings which were perfectly cooked. Next time I am passing through I will look forward to stopping again.

Be sure and check their hours of operation as they aren't typical, I tried stopping on a Wednesday and they were closed. I went on a Friday instead. The ice-cream machine wasn't working when I stopped. The food was mediocre not bad not great. I'd definitely take it over McDonald's. It's accurately rated at 3.5 stars...

Friendly staff and great portions. Haddock burger and grilled cheese were fantastic and, honestly, much better than you’d expect for what appears to be an ice cream shop. The ice cream is also solid. With COVID right now, there’s no visible food menu, but staff are happy to provide one if needed prior to ordering. Highly recommend!

This place os great. Tonight we got the combo platter of Haddock and shrimp. I was accompanied by my two young boys and between the 3 of us we couldnt finish this giant platter of fish shrimp and fires. It was delicious. Had enough left over for lunch the next day and of course saved room for ice cream. Both boys got kiddie cone $2 each and they were hugeActually wanted them a bit smaller for the kids 😂. But all in all we were 100% satisfied.

I have eaten at this Patten landmark location since the 1970's. Even though the owners have changed over the years, the food has remained terrific. The seafood is always a great choice. I am a tenderloin clam fan, and Craig's Clam Shop delivers hot, crisp, and fresh. Since we are located in potato country, the home-made fries are fresh and local. They also serve a wide variety of ice cream flavors, sundaes and milkshakes. Summer is not officially here until I have had my brownie sundae.

Had great expectations for the food due to others raving about it. I was disappointed, portions were small for the price (clams, scallops, shrimp etc...). Lots of fries, but thats about it. Taste wise...no seasoning on anything, onion rings tasted like sawdust battered onions. Ice cream was bland, tasted like frozen milk and was not mixed well with the added flavors( I got a "flurry")

I am from Patten and have ate here countless times over the years throughout the ownership changes. The food has always been excellent and a dairy treat is a great way to finish up a meal here. Look forward to visiting again.

You can't go wrong with any meal choice. I always have the hardest time deciding what I want, because I want everything! So many amazing options. My mouth is watering right now just thinking of all the options. Their ice cream is better than most places you can find in the whole state with tons of flavor options and yummy flurry choices, my favorite being peanut butter pie which they make from an actual pie and not a mix. Their homemade rolls and bread are always amazing and the fresh cut french fries are a must. I could go on and on!

I'd been waiting all winter for Craig's to open back up again and it did not dissapoint! The Clam Shoo is an outdoor venue where you place your order at the window and then may either eat at the numerous picnic tables/Adirondack chairs or in your vehicle if you prefer. There is also a playground across the street. While slightly expensive, the food is great and well worth it! I can guarantee we'll be back many more times this summer!

Every time I come here I am happy with my experience. I got a cheeseburger and a side of tenderloin clam. The burger was good, nothing special just a good burger, but the tenderloin clam was excellent! A must check out in the summer when they are open!

Got the fried clams, Very disappointed. They fill half of the small box and the clams barely had the bellies. They were more like strips. High price for the small size. Clams need to be twice the size and they should give you twice as much

Wicked good service and nice folks to boot! Nothing like a thick vanilla milk shake, on a warm day! Kick back and relax in the deck chairs! Enjoyed my visit here!

Very disappointed. Come up here every year from Vermont and have had good meals. This year I ordered shrimp and haddock and got clams and haddock. And the haddock was over cooked. Very disappointed this year

Best clam shack in Patten, only one in Patten! Went for ice cream/soft serve (Hood) in 24 flavors (syrup artificial). Follow the full parking lot signs downtown Patten,across from playground at only intersection Rte 159/11. Very nice people, Mothers Day carnations gifted to customers, huge cones, $2.00-3.00, kidde-large. Avoid weak flavors, vanilla-choc twist best idea, taste & health wise? 10 miles north of Irving gas off Rte 11 on Rte 159, coming east from Katahdin Woods Waters Swift Brook Rd access (locked P&C gate on May 13!). No Park signs everywhere! Why? No more room at Craig's Clam shack? We were not only car looking for KWW either, even Millinocket was bare of open shops, one restaurant open. Too early or too closed?!

The best Clam Cake in the State of MaineI have been there once and have not found a better clam cake from Kittery to the northern tip of Maine if you are on vacation or a local you got to order the Clam Cake Dinner. It reminds me of a whole fried clam it the form of a cake. Gezz I got to go back Summer 2014 bucket list
