Regrettably, we have been facing a recurring problem with our dogs escaping from our fence and roaming the streets, creating chaos. Despite taking various measures to address this issue, we are still working towards finding a solution. In an unfortunate recent incident, a staff member confronted my 13-year-old daughter, using inappropriate language screaming and I quote “Could you get your F******* dogs under control.”As a parent, I expect adults interacting with minors in stressful situations to maintain professionalism and decorum. This emotional experience affects all parties involved, and I understand the frustration given our dogs' importance as beloved family members.However, I stress the significance of maintaining a professional demeanor, especially when dealing with children seeking help in difficult situations.Sincerely, 423 High St.

We love our Cat, Cashew, that we adopted last fall. He is an American Wirehair dreamboat that follows me everywhere. Although he was in the shelter for much too long, he came with a sunny disposition.

Every animal that comes through this door is treated as if they are life long companions, family members by the entire staff. An environment fostered in professional care, and a dedication of selflessness that is only exceeded by the size of their hearts. We have the greatest gift having adopted 2 beautiful dogs from here, giving us years of love and joy. They hosted a feline spay and neuter clinic. The clinic staff was extremely helpful and supportive of my misfortune. My kitten was sick and needed to be put down. They refused to charge me any additional fees. It was unexpected but appreciated.

This is a phenomenal animal shelter. It's located in South Paris and serves the Western Foothills. It is also a no kill shelter. We have adopted two cats from there and my wife and I are supporters. The staff is very knowledgeable about all of the animals. It is an awesome experience to adopt a pet from here.

Very friendly people my lil girl just got put down i need to bring some of her food and treats and toys over to them to Donate to other needed pets they took it i asked if i could give one special treat to one of there pups and they Brought out a dog for me to give special treat to it was my fur babys favorite treat if i ever get another fur baby im going there.

This is a group of very committed people. They have a huge job to do and they do it cheerfully and with obvious love for the cats and dogs. I got my beautiful Maine Coon here. She was healthy and very well socialized. They can use any help you can give.

I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this shelter. I trapped a stray cat on porch that I had been feeding for many years but it refused to be very social or come inside. The harsh winter was taking its toll on the baby so I decided to trap him and see what the shelter could do.Amazingly the ladies at the shelter were able to socialize the beautiful cat after about a year and found him a forever home. I will always miss my little stray but very happy they were able to rehabilitate him so he wouldn't have to be homeless again.I can't really afford to own anymore animals but I can help the shelter out by donating items they always need. So if you're like me and love animals but can't give one of their fur babies a home may I recommend dropping by with some cleaning supplies, pet food, beds, toys or even a little cash to help these people continue making the lives of these animals better.

This place is amazing. They care so much about their animals and make sure to spay/neuter before allowing adoption. I got my cat there, he was in their car room (really nice, and they even have a CAT-io for night days outside) and I gladly spent over an hour just hanging out with the cats.

Not only do they do a wonderful job at caring for & finding homes for stray and/or abandoned animals, but they also make sure the shelter itself is comfortable and welcoming place for both animals and humans alike. Keep up the great work you are doing!! I wish there were more places just like this in the world!

We weren’t looking to get pet that day.We were coming home and decided to go to the dog shelter. We had our Rubi(our corgi) and didn’t know if she would get along with another pet, but our worries were gone after we met Willow (beautiful older kitty) never had one before.She looked so sick and sad and I fell in love with her and we brought her home .The staff was very friendly and the facility very clean. We will go back!

Friendly, knowledgeable and responsible staff caring for their "lovies" as if each were their own. Clean, up to date building nearby to Market Square, Rt 26, South Paris. RPC allows children with supervision and adults to spend time with kitties in their community cat room. Timely turn around on pet adoptions; they're always accepting donations and have a post board at entrance with current needs. A great asset in the Oxford Hills area.
