This is exactly what you would hope for in a market like this. You have the sassy chef, and the regulars coming in and out. There is limited bar seats, but those look like they are there while you wait for your food. I think it would be awkward if you sat down to eat there. We got a Rubin, ultimate grilled cheese, jalapeño poppers, broccoli poppers and a piece of cake. All of them were good, and while the grilled cheese was unique (bacon, cheese, cheese sticks, and sweet chili sauce) all of the fried food that we ordered got a bit too heavy. I hope to be able to try a couple other items, especially the pizza.

I have found my new favorite place to grab dinner. Great food. Took me a few to find this location, we moved here in Nov 2019. I adore the buns used for the burgers, which are my favorite with lots and lots of onions. Friendly employees. Love the home town small store appeal.

Ever walk into a store and felt warm and welcomed like you’ve stopped by Grandma’s house? That’s Polly’s. Full of “how can I help”, “I can get that for you”, and “you should really try this”.Food-wise, the sizes are good and the quality is fantastic. For example, you can get a bacon cheeseburger big enough you need two hands for $6.

Large pepperoni slices were a bit too greasy, reminded me of school lunch pizza.Maybe the slices had been sitting in there a while, but based on those I would not order pizza here.

Not the same fun atmosphere it usually is the last time I shopped. Attitude from one employee was a bit snippy and I didn't get $5 of my change back until she saw me adding things up and counting my shorted change. Pretty disappointed.

My wife and I had a craft show at Oxford High school and she suggested this place to pick up dinner, so I went to get some Italian sandwiches as they were making the sandwiches I was iballing the pizza slices and had to try one well let me tell you that Pepperoni Pizza slice was probably the best I've ever had great job Polly's wish I could give more than five stars.

One star for the terrible 'sandwich' dolefully prepared by someone who informed me they were coming off hard drugs ingested the night before.The second star comes from the questionable behavior of the regular customers. Sidling in doped to the gills and slamming refrigerator doors seeking the sweetest of snacks...This was a regrettable dining choice... As I could have had ramen at the hotel. But I did get a free show.

Pollys is a wonderful place to go in Oxford and has been serving the area for a long long time. Their food tastes great and they are not shy with the portions. I have never ordered anything from there and felt remotely hungry afterwards. The staff are very pleasant and quick to make you laugh or just talk to. They have a great ice cream shop right next door for those hot Maine days. You will not be disappointed in this place, I go there everytime I'm in Oxford.

This place has the best local gluten free pizza! It is amazing and the price is super reasonable. I have 4 kids and an amazing husband and we can feed our whole family with leftovers for 45$ thats 2 lg pizzas and 2 gluten free! You cant beat that ANYWHERE! we wont go anywhere else for our pizza fix!

Ordered for 3 people... gluten free pizza, a salad, and a regular pizza. Went to pick up and was told they were our of gluten free crust, but we got the meals for the other two people... one had to go without.Ordered again for 3... two sandwiches and a salad. Went to pick up and was told they were out of lettuce... no salad. Two got meals again, and one went without.With a name and a phone number they could've let us know. We won't go back. :(

As a variety store, average. As for their pizza and sandwiches: Top notch!Unfortunately they no longer prepare and serve while wearing masks...and no attempt is made to have customers socially distanced or wear masks. Making others feel very exposed and unsafe. Definitely will be back when the pandemic eases or they again get more responsible. . Revisited 11-25-20. Compliance with covid-19 requirements is actually worse! The door does display the notice, but that's as far as it goes. 2 of the 3 employees did not have even a mask around their neck, and they were the food preparers! 5 customers in a row entered the store, unchallenged, without masks and allowed no social distancing. You may want to consider going elsewhere for your own safety! They're leaving themselves open to liability for sure!

What a fabulous find. Camping in Oxford Maine looking for coffee but found a gem. Amazing breakfast with a few hidden tables between the chips and the spam. The 2 ladies are amazing. The breakfast was bar none the best we've ever had.

Family Owned, treated like family when you go in! They know your name and greet you with it! Jess is Great with my children! They absolutely love her and miss her when we are running late and dont make it in. Lisa! Well ive known her my entire life, shes warm and helpful and if you have an issue she will do her best to take care of it! Very Kid Friendly and Family Oriented!♡♡♡

I used to love this place, I would order at least once a week. Now it depends on who's working whether your meal is burnt or not and the prices just went up quite a bit which will cause us to order less frequent, if at all.

Polly's was outstanding! We rolled in with 10 motorcycles and all ate here, awesome lunch indeed. We will always make this a stop for now on!
