We stopped here for dinner while in town for a college tour. The people were so friendly. Southern hospitality had nothing on these folks! The owner stopped at every table to be sure everything was okay and spoke to us at length when we were leaving. Both he and our waitress told us all about the town and type of community it was in case my daughter chose to attend the University of Maine. Now the food! We got spinach artichoke dip. Best I ever had! Biggest pieces of artichoke and so cheesy! My daughter got a burger and mac and cheese. Both delicious! I got chicken alfredo. So much food! It was amazing and so creamy. The chicken was perfect. The drink was called a "Flirtini" and was quite yummy. This will be my go to place of my daughter chooses this college!

My friends and I get dinner at Woodman’s often, every single time we have been blown away by the food, atmosphere, and customer service. We recently ordered to-go for the first time and the food was just as good as it is dine in, which is rare! To top it off, an item was forgotten in the order which was no biggie! When we called to get a refund, not only did they offer that but also the item free of charge the next time we came in! and THEN! The owner gave us a call and offered to BRING THE ITEM TO OUR HOUSE!!! Keep in mind Woodman’s does not offer delivery. BEST food, BEST atmosphere, BEST customer service. We could not recommend this restaurant enough!!!!

Very good service, with good food at a good value. The vibe was casual. The buffalo hot chicken tenders were excellent hot spice but not too hot. The Manhattan cocktail was exceptional. Overall very good pub type food.

Have been a longtime patron of this restaurant. Made a reservation for 4:30 and at 6:15 asked us to leave because they needed to seat another table of 4. They were the only party waiting and the long table was available. Felt like the bums rush!! We all had a couple of drinks with dinner. Girls night out. No lingering here. Will take us a long time to reconsider coming back!

This was my first time here and I was super impressed. A friend has recommended this place to me and he was absolutely right, the food was amazing. We tried the egg roll appetizers they had which were delicious, I had the patty melt burger and my girlfriend had the buffalo chicken salad. We loved it all, one of the best burgers I've had. They had some of the beer from Orono brewing company which was awesome. Highly recommend coming here!

Be wary about this place! I went to a small event here last night and I ordered a beer, everything was fine. Some time passed and I ordered another beer and the bartender (tall guy with long hair)comes back saying my card declined, so I asked him if he can try again because I know I have money. In a rude manner he said, “no, it declined I need another card”. So I gave him a credit card and that worked. Still confused about my card declining I immediately went to the merch table that the band playing there brought and bought something with the same card that “allegedly declined” which went through perfectly fine. I checked my bank account and saw that the transaction for both beers went through. So I just gave the bartender an extra $8 for no reason. I wanted to speak to a manager but the place was so loud, I figured it probably wasn’t the best time to bring this to their attention.

I ordered the Kung Pao Tofu and it was the best fried tofu I have ever had!!!! It complemented the broccoli and the couscous and the soy sauce. My mistake was combining the couscous and soy sauce together; near the end I couldn't handle the saltiness. The establishment is beautiful and our server a delight! I also had the Wild Maine Cocktail and it was very refreshing and delicious! My husband had the Cajun Fish Tacos and loved how the tacos had whole fish and not chopped up. The little bit of cajun spice paired well with all the toppings!

Good food and good ambiance. We tried the steak frite, pound burger, and chicken salad. The food was well cooked but missed the great mark due to lack of proper seasoning on the steak and toughness. Good option if you're in the area but could improve with a few simple changes

Went for my 5th anniversary and I had brought my baby along and we ended up having to get most of our order to go but the staff was super accommodating and the food was delicious! Waitress was wonderful. We definitely will be coming back.

Incredible meal. We had a large party, the hostess stepped up and covered for our server who must of been having a difficult night.1 meal wasn't made, and had to be rushed out in haste. We ordered, waited and had to ask for drinks. That aside, if you want a well prepared meal, this is a good go-to place. The deep fried green beans appetizer, along with the pulled pork egg rolls are a must try.

Cool little place with great food! Service was prompt and friendly. Didn't get to try as many of the beers as I would have liked. Would be a good place to go back to as they have pool tables and dart boards. Although I am not sure the dart board is usable.

Waited over an hour for a steak and a salad. Never normally complain but our waitress didn't come by with any updates as to why it was taking so long, even after the place had cleared out. Tried to get the check for our one drink so we could leave and still waited another 10 minutes for that so we had to leave cash and walk out.

The new york strip i ordered was cooked right. However, it was a worse cut of such steak i have ever tasted. Don't know what I actually got. The service was good. So was everything else.

Its a small but nice place. During our family dinner I thought the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our food was very good tho the burger was underwhelming for my bf sadly. The Alfredo was delicious and so was the steak. Pork egg rolls were nice. The drinks are good especially the flirtini.House made cannoli is a highlight.I look forward to stopping in again

It was okay. The tofu was way too salty, breaded (so it got soggy after a few minutes), and not the most flavorful. No other vegan option other than I think one appetizer. Server was nice. I came with a large group. My drink was yummy. Probably wont return unless I get invited for drinks specifically. Clean with a nice atmosphere.

Stopped in for a late dinner after a long day of hiking in Baxter. So was very happy to see the portions were amazingly generous. Service was very good and included a water pitcher which is always appreciated.The fried pickles were not too greasy and had a great pickle flavor. The buffalo chicken salad was a good level of spicy combined with quite fresh vegetables.

It was a first time experience and I could not have been more pleased.Immediately, my party of three was seated on what appeared to be a fairly busy evening. The staff was warm and welcoming while we decided on our dinner. Portions for price were balanced well. Choice, while slightly trim, were diverse and didn't leave you wanting something "missing". Quality of the meal could not be any better, I'll be returning again for sure.If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, you'll leave satisfied with a warm, full belly.

First time there tonight. We went right at opening because they are smaller and didn’t want a wait. They were very accommodating to both our six month old and with our needs for a wheelchair friendly location. The staff did not bat an eye lash when we mentioned what we would need. We have a larger party than what we saw coming in(6 adults 1 baby). The staff was friendly, attentive, and fast with any needs or requests. The food was amazing everyone who had one enjoyed their craft beers from OBC. It was a lovely evening and we will be going back there without question! Some night we plan to try out the outside area it was gorgeous but today ended up being too chilly for the little one. Thank you for an amazing family night out!

Best meal I have had in years. Absolutely a go to.Got the chicken finger appetizer which could have been a meal in itself. The main course ws fish tacos with a burst of flavor in every bite. My GF got the flank steak which was cooked to perfection. Only advice, don't be shy on the drinks. I paid $8 for a cup of ice with a splash of Tito's.Will be back- amazing food!!
