A large dinner feel in a college town with basket meals eating at a window shelf style seating or large HD wooden tables.The food was average, onion ring basket was good.We had shakes and frappes and they seamed weak flavored and not very thick.Overall and okay experience but maybe a “little” expensive for the meals.Parking: The correct lot is a small -medium parking lot. A little confusing as under the restaurant is a liqueur store and if you are unfamiliar with the area you may try to park there which is not recommended.The correct parking is on the opposite side of the liqueur store.

Best dogs I've had! All the food here is fresh and delicious. The local beers are great. The atmosphere is open, spacious, and bright; a great place to go with a group of people, or if alone, to take a window seat and people watch. The people that work here are also friendly and knowledgeable. Always feel good (and full) coming here!

Fun place to eat while visiting the college, definitely a friendly vibe. I got the mac and cheese hot dog with onion rings, both of which were awesome! The onion rings didn’t pull apart like so many others, making them perfect for dipping. I also got to try French fries and the breakfast burger, the fries were crispy and the burger patty was good quality.Definitely a place to come back to next time we’re in town.

I have never had a hot dog this good. The Vienna dog is good with the soft bun, but the toppings make this an experience. They do great american classics too. Pancakes, tenders, veggie burgers and chilli fries. If your around orono go visit. This will be a regular for me

I love Fam Dog! It was the first restaurant I went to when I first came to UMaine and constantly return. Their brunch menu is delicious! However, I like to get the xolo chicken sandwich. They have gluten-free buns and are pretty good with allergies, but they have a shared fryer for fries. They also have really good ice cream, milk shakes, ciders, sodas, etc! It is a bit pricey, but entirely worth treating yourself. I get the same sandwich every time and it never disappoints.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Buns

If you want a good meal and got some time to fill, this is a great place to grab a bite.The burgers were cooked to perfection and the fries where the right crisp.The poutine is to die for.Along with a good beer, with a good selection on tap, it's a great combo.Overall a pretty great place to grab a bite/drink.

This is the place in Orono Maine to go for all occasions year round. Always great food, ice cream and what refreshments. The price is the lowest around and the experience can’t be beat.

Inexpensive. Good food, good service, very clean. Clean bathrooms. Clean kitchen. If you don't mind dogs being around when you eat then this place is pretty good. (The dogs are mainly outside in the outer seating area) Me and my brother's enjoyed our lunch here very much.

thoroughly disappointment with my experience at family dog. As a university of Maine alumni I have been here many times and had the owner/management make rude backhanded comments about my order. I always chalked it up to being a busy stressful environment during the school year. However today, I was at here, we were the only customers in the morning and the owner was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to every member of my party. The food is mediocre and not worth the money for the overall negative experience and atmosphere. I do not recommend this establishment.

This is a Family and dog friendly restaurant. The food is delicious, they have ice cream for the dogs. The drinks are amazing. You can get adult drinks as well. Staff is amazing!! Went with my family for our first "dine-in" experience in a while. It was a bit chilly but we still ate outside and loved that it was an option. The lovely lady working in the kitchen brought us out our food for us. Kiddo said it was the best french fries they have ever had!Features: Outdoor seating options in two places. Tables spaced pretty well apart.
