I have been going to this Aroma Joes since 2021. I have probably spent an upwards of 1k on Rushes and the food. Since 2021 the prices have increased by nearly 2 dollars per rush while the consistency of both service and product has decreased.Here are the problems:50% of the time you as for light ice they give you a regular amount of iceAsking for no ice? They don’t even fill the drinks to the top, I paid for 24/32 oz, I should get 24/32 oz of drink. Especially if it’s 5-7$ for a Red Bull and syrup.I usually order the same 3 rushes—Black Bear, BlackJack, or Cotton Candy, they have been increasingly giving me different drinks from these, usually you can immediately tell by the color and then by the taste. The worst instance of this was them putting lavender flavoring in my drink—I noticed.This is not to mention the incredibly slow drive through service, taking them an average of 10+ minutes per order.I used to think Aroma’s was the best coffee/breakfast spot compared to Dunks or SB but I feel as though it has just been getting more expensive and slower while the quality of the food and drinks is the same. Expect AJ’s to increase in price every 3-4 months.

If your going to offer delivery/doordash you need to have your lobby open or a separate service. Waiting 30 minutes to pick up an order is unacceptable. Nothing against staff or service, just a bad system

First time trying this place, so good!Drive thru was wrapped all the way around and had to park at the gas station. Service was a little slow, but it was very busy!I tried the AJ's rush (frozen), it was tasty! I didn't feel that energized after having it, but it was a nice treat.

I’m a die hard aromas fan. I’m from southern Maine so when an aromas came to Orono I was SOO exited! I drive to Orono from Bangor weekly to pick up drinks for my office and drive back to work in Bangor.The past few times I’ve gone the service has been mediocre. The girls working move like literal sloths with no urgency to get the orders out in a timely manner.. I do however understand it may be early but when there’s a lobby full of people and a full drive thru they should put a little pep in their step…I originally got in the drive thru line at 6:24 but after waiting there for almost 15 minutes and the line not moving, I decided to go inside to get our drinks. At which I waited a very long time again.. I did not get our drinks(4) until 6:51. I work at 7 in Bangor…Again, I love aromas but the speediness of the staff definitely needs to improve..Bring an aromas to Bangor😭

All the warmth and charm of a Starbucks, but all the efficiency, too, which is to say it doesn't feel like Cheers but it does the job and does it well. I stopped in for coffee and breakfast on my way to get my son out of his dorm in the midst of the 2020 pandemic. Breakfast was fast and the coffee was pretty good. The place is spacious inside and looks like a good spot for a nice long wifi work stint, although there was a TV running.

I love AJ's Rush! I have tried alot of their flavors. My favorite flavor that I created myself is:Strawberry, Watermelon, Blood Orange <-Please Try! :)My other top favorites are:-Strawberry, Orange, Amaretto-Strawberry, Orange, Guava-Blue Hawaiian-Pink Star-Mai Tai-Skittles-Leann's Rush-Fruit Punch^Some of these flavors above are on a secret menu that you can ask them about.It's very nice looking on the inside to grab something to drink/eat, and just hang out in their lounge chairs. AJ's Rush Energizing Drinks are really addictive, and so flavorful. AJ's rush(without any flavors added) to me taste similar to a regular Redbull drink, but much better tasting.

I absolutely love it! Great staff and environment to chill with friends or read alone with my favorite "Cup O' Joe" and my Service Dog. My wheelchair fits everywhere and so do l. Oh, did l mention great coffee?

Took 15-20 minutes to get to order window with 5 cars ahead of me ...4 employee cars parked out back. Then another 5 minutes to get my iced coffee. Not sure if it was shift change but I've had less of a wait at dunking donuts with line wrapped around the building. Best iced coffee around, wouldn't wait that long again though.

Every time I try to go here I give it 20 minutes to try to get a coffee and I end up driving away without one almost every time because it makes me run late for my day. If you can’t get a customer through a drive thru within 20 minutes for coffee, you probably shouldn’t have a drive thru. I want to try this place more, but it’s hard to justify when I could go to the Dunkin next door 3 times in the amount of time it takes to go here.Edit: the owner replied saying that if I were the 10th car, it would take 20 minutes. I fully agree that 2 min per car is reasonable. I do want to note that the day I wrote this review, I was almost late for work after waiting 25 minutes. I was the 5th car when I pulled up. This is an average of 5 minutes per car.

ridiculous wait every time i go through the drive thru, it sucks because i love the drinks and would come here every day if i didn’t have to wait for an hour just to order. no hate to the workers because it’s almost certainly not their fault but management seriously needs to figure it out

On the plus side: nice outdoor seating area; they opened the indoor area sooner than a lot of places after the lockdown; the coffee is pretty good in general and some of their Travel the World coffees are quite memorable; some of the staff has been there for a few years which tells me the management and working conditions are pretty good.Things that always bother me: (1) having to pay a dollar for a cup of water when I order a coffee and a pastry. Personally I think if I'm a paying customer, water should be a courtesy. I have heard businesses claim the cost of cups is prohibitive, so I can even understand a 25 cent surcharge; $1.00 is excessive. (2) Internet works about 50% of the time, so just when you think you're going to get some work done while you're sipping your coffee, no. When you tell staff, they say they'll reset it, but that never fixes the issue. (3) Also about 50% of the time, the music is way too loud. I can't concentrate on anything and or even have a conversation when the music is that loud, and it's not enjoyable.

I waited in the drive through for 45 minutes. This is not the first time. I love the drinks but the service is too slow. I feel bad for the workers as they seem to be stressed from being understaffed. Let people go in to get their coffee as long as they wear a mask.As much as I love this place, I will probably choose another coffee shop from now on.

It's Aroma Joe's, it's solid, consistent. The traffic circle is a bit bananas but the coffee shop existed before that was there so it's not on them. I go out of my way from Bangor sometimes to get AJ's because it's better than Dunkin. So, I think that's an endorsement.

I go to this aroma Joe’s frequently and am normally very pleased with the customer service and quality of the products served. Unfortunately today that was absolutely not the case, I ordered my usual beverage and it was served with too much sweetener and milk. I returned to ask them to remake my beverage, and was treated as a bother as the employees attempted to make me a different drink they thought I would enjoy more. I let them know this is my normal order and I simply need it remade with the correct amounts. They remade my order with more milk and sweetener added. Very rude customer service, very disappointed I wasted my money on a disgustingly sweet beverage. This occurred on 8/16/21 @ about 11:15am.

Love the organic teas here! A good atmosphere, making it easy to spend a few hours here writing. This is also where I like to meet up with people for a chat. Took my parents there this morning.Kid-friendliness: This is also a great place to bring little ones for a smoothie and to play a game.
