First I want to say that Shannon is amazing! Any issues feel free to contact her and she will go up and beyond to accommodate you.The place is dated, yes, but for the price our room was super clean and the bed was awesome. I love all of the odd nooks and crannies and the setup. Everything worked properly, room was warm and very clean. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Hot water was good.We will be back!

With a little effort this place could be a lot nicer. Being a single traveler, the room was fine. There wasn't a small table in the room to put anything on besides the night table that lacked a light. There were no hooks on the wall or any place to hang any clothes or a luggage rack. There was a chair in the room but it was not in great shape. A plus size person might have a problem using the toilet.There are plenty plus sides for this motel. It has a great location. Thecbed was comfortable. The balcony is a plus. The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.If you can get a good price, then staying here would be worth the inconvenience. Some other rooms might be better.Safety: Could use an extra lock on the door.Walkability: Close to the beach and to the amusement parks and town center.

Don't stay here. My mother put a deposit down for a room with this location, but unfortunately had to cancel her stay because her husband, my father, had a HEART ATTACK. She called MULTIPLE times to let them know she needed to cancel, as he had an emergency triple bypass surgery and is in the ICU. She told they would give her a call back. She never received one. She called back again today, and the lady she spoke with was not apologetic at all about the situation, showed zero compassion, interrupted my mother when she was speaking and stated the owner of the property denied the request for a refund. We will not be booking with this location ever again. Don't waste your money. They won't care if something catastrophic happens and you need to cancel. They only care about profit, they don't care about their patrons. If I could give a lower rating, I would.

Awesome staff. Friendly, helpful & professional. Came here for a mini ME vacation. Room was just the right size for 1 person. Everything was within walking distance. Access to the beach was easy.Staff replaced TV before I knew there was an issue with it.Definitely would come back with the husband, next time..

Location is absolutely perfect, as for our room very unsafe. I would recommend no children here.To start off at the beginning of your stay you can easily use a card from your wallet to get into any room, we brought our own door securing device thankfully. The stairs to our room were very unsafe, nails are sticking up on the balcony deck, the window on the door to the balcony was a double panned window but obviously broken and glass was still all around the edges. Lots of items not up to fire code. No fire extinguisher in the room, room had an electric cooking stove that is extremely outdated. Location is absolutely perfect, they need someone to come in and do a thorough inspection of each room is my recommendation before anything significant happens to guests that they host.Staff were very nice & helpful.Noteworthy details: I would not bring children here, or elderly persons.

The guy that checked us in was really kind and helpful. However, our balcony door doesn’t lock, the bathroom obviously wasn’t thoroughly cleaned as there is hair in the shower, sink and toilet. There were Budweiser cans in the hallway, and the entire places smells like marijuana, which was fantastic with my 5 year old. Other than the streaming being really slow so we can utilize the tv which isn’t a huge deal, we can hear everything in the hallway with the huge gap in our doorway though 😂. For $89 the location is great but I’ve stayed in places nearby for not much more money and had it be worth it. Sometimes it’s worth it to take the gamble and try something new, sometimes not so much.

Nice , Quiet. Clean, the woman and guy in the office was so nice and friendly. Very nice for a short stay, no smoking rooms. But your allowed to smoke outside on the balcony which is pretty cool. There is a tv the channels don't work much, but who needs to watch TV when palace Playland is on the corner, the beach is right outside, tons of food, and lots to shop. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the nice bar & grills in that area.

The room was fantastic, the view!!! Beautiful!!! The staff was phenomenal! They gave great recommendations on all counts!! Housekeeping staff is fantastic! The room was so very clean!! Not just a 'surface clean' either. We were on the beach yet not a grain of sand on the room floor. I lived by the ocean & have no idea how they pulled that off!! It is the perfect combination of hotel and home!!

The toilet is so small and won't work half the damn time, the toilet paper is too thin and my hand goes straight through getting poo on my fingers when I wipe my butt. They have Netflix and all the other streaming platforms but you have to use your own account which is not a good idea btw! I have been to motels with better rooms than this place!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a little small but seemed very clean and well kept. The patios and balconies were a very welcome addition, especially with the gorgeous view of the ocean nearby.Overall it was a quaint and cozy place in a great location. Great for couples or even families. Also pet friendly! Always a bonus.

The room is tiny. The toilet and shower are in the same room as the bed, separated by a shower curtain. The toilet is 2' from the bed. The view of the ocean is blocked by a random staircase leading to nowhere. Once you are parked you are blocked in immediately by multiple other vehicles so you cannot leave. There is mold and water damage on the ceiling. The shower is 2' x 2' and you cannot control the temperature. It's either freezing or burning. We did not sleep all night as the bed was extremely uncomfortable with a 6" depression and a mattress protector that sounds like you are sleeping on a plastic bag.

This place is in a good spot, right off the beach and walking distance to everything, the staff are very nice and friendly. However, the rooms can certainly use an update and also get clean better. BUT mainly the MATTRESSES NEED to be CHANGED!!!!!!!. I was there for 2 nights, hardly slept and my back still in pain. TV and Internet was very bad and slow. Couldn't finish a movie because it kept buffering. This is a good place if you are looking for something affordable and to basically just be in an out of the hotel. If you really don't care about the hotel appearance or picky about the cleaning part then this is the place for you but I, in the other hand would not chose this hotel again. I only gave it 3 stars because the customer service was nice.

Can’t beat it for the price! I came at the end of the season with my wife and it was $140 2 nights. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Old Orchard.1 min walk to the beach, close to a bunch of food, clean rooms with a microwave and kitchenette. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a safe environment. Also did mention best TV with roku!Conclusion: Balancing both budget and comfort on a trip can be difficult. But at the Oceanic Inn I never had to stress about it.

Just spent four days with the wife here while the bathroom was tiny, it was an enjoyable stay. All of the staff was extremely friendly and the room was very affordable. Will stay here again.Walkability: Literally boardwalk was a couple hundred yards away.

Our vacation was a success, great location with attentive customer service. The rooms are a little bit older modeled, but that's ok for us. Everything was clean and convenient, it worked out perfectly for our situation. We had a cool deck, access to grill with picnic tables, close to stores, and routes to neighboring towns, walking proximity to beach, live entertainment next door, great dining options, family friendly adventures nearby. This was an affordable option that placed us in the heart of it all especially the Brunswick and Palace Playland. Big thank you to Larry for his care and kindness, and of course Steve the owner who always has great suggestions, along with all of the hardworking staff. We will definitely be back again.

Everything. The staff first of all was phenomenal, I was greeted personally and shown around the facility, parking and the room. They even took the time to make recommendations and how to work the tv remote. Absolutely wicked good staff. The location was perfect. It was next to the beach, next to palace playland but not to close (perfect distance for noise purposes) we were next to food and everything needed. Everything was walking distance. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed for a good trip. It had parking which is huge being its old orchard beach and parking is scarce and expensive. The staff though made this trip great. I was welcomed, wasnt judged, and treated like gold. And did I say the staff was awesome? Wicked awesome

The owners were extremely nice and informative,jeff gave us great seafood locations and he even upgraded our room for me and my fiance as soon as we got there for no charge! We stayed 5 days and I would no question return to the oceanic inn.great view of the water, super comfortable bed, great A/C, parking was never an issue, not a single complaint, housekeeper did a great job .cant wait to come back next summer. Much love from new york!!

I'm a very picky person when it comes to rooms. We took our grandkids for a couple nights. I can't say anything bad about the place. Close to the beach and board walk. Would stay again! The room 9 was clean. The hotel has clearly been updated since my last time I have stayed. When ever in Old Orchard, this is usually first choice to stay. It is in walking distance to the pier, shopping, amusement park, restaurants and the beach.Disliked · They have newer management and I just think that they are a bit too noisy. It is an old house with quite a few options for rentals and people have to keep that into consideration, such as not slamming doors or talking super loudly outside between their sister properties, nor inside in the hallways or on the stairs between units. This was my only major complaint. I left early. Lastly, parking is a bit tight, plan to stay parked until you leave or may not get a spot upon return.

Very quaint cozy room very clean and smelled great when we walked in. We were just going to stay the night but have enjoyed the place so much we have decided to stay longer. Jeff the owner has gone out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The last person whom rented the room decided they needed the remotes for the TVs more than the inn. I called Jeff and he was here in minutes to take care of the issue. It's nice to know that there are people whom care about good hospitality and not just money! My wife and I will definitely be back!
