My little family and I had a great stay here! The lady at the office was very welcoming and very friendly!! The pool area was very clean, there were many seats to sit down and the pool was very very clean! The bedroom was small but we didn’t care, we were only in the room to sleep or change. I will say though, the floor in the room is extremely disgusting, we took our shoes off just to walk to the bathroom and shower and our feet were black. The bathroom has a stand up shower which was pretty small, but that was fine. Make sure you bring shampoo, body wash, etc etc!! We were very close to all the attractions and the beach, it was all walking distance. Overall it was a great stay and we will absolutely be back here!!

My sister and I took a weekend vacation and everyone was super welcoming. The staff in the office were very welcoming and helped us as well as accommodating our simple more pillow request. The room was perfect for us as we literally used the room to sleep and that was it. I would definitely stay here again as it was close to the ocean and to all the local spots to go out and have a good time or just go shopping!Nearby activities: Ocean the park are very closeWalkability: Stores and restaurants are all within walking distanceFood & drinks: Tons of bars and fun spots to have a great night!

This is a convenient, clean and somewhat good priced place. However, we didn't get a welcoming check-in, the gentleman seemed way more interested in going back to watch the news. We stayed in a 2 bed ground floor room, it was clean but yet lacked charm. Strangely enough there wasn't any bedside table with lights, you would think of it as a nice to have, but when you want to plug in your phone, leave your glasses or even use a softer lighting for the evening you find it quite important. Pool was warm and nicely kept, same as outdoor eating area. Overall good value for your buck, just not a WOW I would definitely comeback here.

I stayed two nights in an upstairs room. The room was newly renovated which was nice, the beds were comfy, the TV channels were not the best. There's chairs outside your room to sit on the deck but it was such a pain when people walked by because it was so narrow, so you had to get up and move. We didn't hear the people on either side of us which was nice. We only heard the train during the day. I parked in the back lot which was better than parking in the front to me. It was nice that it was close to the pier so if you had to go to the bathroom you just walked back to your room, better than paying 50 cents every time. The pool wasn't quite open yet, it had to be balanced so we didn't get to use it which was a bummer. The new deck area in the back is great though, my husband re heated food on the flat top stove since there's no microwaves in the rooms, however there are mini fridges.

We fell in love with Seagrass Inn and stayed for 4 days! it's conveniently located by the beach, entertainment, shopping and restaurants! It has a heated & very clean swimming pool, rooms are clean, the king mattress was comfortable and pull out couch was handy, with Big TVs in the bedroom and lounge so kids can watch their shows separately, refrigerator was clean, good coffee and coffee maker, shared microwaves & toaster were clean! Perfect for 2 adults & 2 kids!The owners Lisa and Peter are great, very accommodating and helpful ... and the stuff was friendly and helpful as well!!>>>> WE WILL BE BACK SOOOON !!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Seagrass Inn. The owners were super kind and available. I had to stay an extra day and it was super easy to update my reservation and the owner even gave me a pair of clean socks (I didn’t pack enough extra socks). I had an ocean view room but it was just a peek because the building is on the far side of the road. Could be worth the small upcharge but don’t expect anything crazyWalkability: Super close to main strip and pier

Hotel was pretty nice, no microwave in room, pool was extremely clean and there was pool toys too. mattress was decent. nice location, right across the street from the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby! shower was great too. Tiled floor was good, especially if you come back from the beach. Had a nice outside area. Free wi-fi is nice. Like most of the hotels around this one isn’t the newest I would stay here again.

We were a family of 5, 2 adults, 3 children, we really enjoy our 3 days at this hotel. Room were nice, bed were pretty confortable (sofa bed a little less, but not that bad) the location was great, 30 seconds of walk from the beach, and 3 minutes of walk from the pier, so you dont have to spend money on parking. The owners were really friendly, the pool was almost a hot tub, really nice after a nice cold swim in the ocean, the bbq setup was awesome, you can cook your own meat and they even have a flat top grill for the breakfast, so you can cook and save some money. Quality/price it was a 5 stars. Great great place, the owner even borrow me her iPhone charger. We will be back.And about the train, every hotel near the beach have to deal with this problem, but we bring a white sound machine and some ear plug and we were fine. Thx again.Je le conseille à tous les québécois aussi, la vie coute tellement cher de nos jours que cet hôtel nous permet d'économiser.

The room my fiancée and I were staying in was a king bedroom on the top floor. The room was extremely clean for a motel, I honestly expected it to be worse since I had never been to this location before so I was happily surprised to walk into a spotless room. I’ve been in hotels that weren’t as clean as this! The owner (only spoke with the woman, not sure what her name is unfortunately) was extremely pleasant when we arrived! She was upbeat and friendly, and it was a great way to start off our 2 night stay. She was also very pleasant at check out as well, hoping we would come back in the future. The location of this motel is perfect — less than 3 min walk to the beach, which is much less busy than down near the center. The walk to the center is maybe about 5 minutes as well. The motel has a pool which looked super clean (did not use), as well as a back patio with grills and a microwave and probably other things as well (did not use). Also had an outdoor bathroom which is nice! Overall, this was a great stay and would 100% book here again! My only complaints would be: the tv only had like 5 stations which I did not see in the listing, which I did book directly from the website…this usually wouldn’t be a big deal, but we stayed during a rain storm and was stuck in the room with not much to do. Not the end of the world though, next time would bring an iPad to connect to the WiFi that worked wonderfully. The other complaint would be that the bed and pillows were not that comfortable. The pillows were hard as a rock and the bed formed to my body in such a weird way, so it was very hard to get comfortable. My fiancée that can sleep pretty much anywhere also had issues getting comfortable too. These are 2 pretty minor issues that really can be overlooked by everything else, which is why I gave this a 4/5 stars. Would recommend this motel to anyone!!

Excellent customer service, super clean grounds, sparkling clear and warm pool, and our room was fresh, updated and spotless! If you like to know where you are giving your business/money to - this location is perfect. We could tell our entire stay that they were happy if we were happy! A 2-3 minute walk to the beach, a nice short walk to the pier and plenty of restaurants and beach businesses along the way. Just the perfect location. Interested in saving money? Bring your own food and cook on one of their provided gas grills or Blackstone grill. They have areas set up under the sun, under canopies and under umbrellas... something for EVERYONE of all ages! Outside bathroom/changing room is very handy for those choosing the extended stay on departure day which allows you to stay and enjoy the afternoon on grounds after check-out. Just a really great place to stay!

Sea grass inn was the perfect option for my family and I. Both owners were helpful and incredibly friendly. We were within walking distance to restaurants and the pier and across the street from the beach access. The pool was warm and a great ending to a day at the beach. Outdoor shower and sprayer accesses for sand removal was AMAZING. Quiet, considering your right in the middle of the action! We will be back next year to Seagrass Inn, we have already decided. Thank you !!!

Very nice place to spend a couple days at the beach. Rooms are nothing special but were immaculate. Beds are comfortable but next time I'll bring my own pillows. Tile floors throughout makes cleanup easier when you're coming in off the beach. Beach access right across the street was nice. Less crowded than down by the pier and a very short walk to all the activities. Close to the Brunswick which is a great plus. Pool are was very nice and overall the place was very clean. I dont require much from a beach hotel, just a place to take a hot shower, a comfortable place to sleep and enough space to cool off for a minute between activities. The Seagrass Inn definitely hit the mark. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our anniversary here and started planning a family vacation to return as soon as we started driving home. AC was cold, water pressure was good in the shower and the water was hot. Basics like mini fridge and coffee maker in the room but nothing extra or super extravagant. And the price was perfect!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here! It was the cleanest and most spacious place we’ve stayed in at oob. I think the rooms are all different but we had a lounge area with a couch, another room with our bed and then the bathroom was in between. There were 2 flat screen TVs. The channels were limited but we didn’t mind too much! I’m very picky but I had nothing to really complain about except for my family getting sand on the floor from their shoes and feet! The location was great and felt very family friendly. It looked updated and modern. We enjoyed the pool which was also very clean. We saw the owners running around and maintaining the property. They seemed to care and were also very friendly people. We will be back!

The place was super clean and the owners were very nice and friendly. This was an overall excellent experience. We will be staying here again for sure. Saved quite a bit on parking and it's a five minute walk to the pier. Ice cold AC, nice clean pool, mini fridge and coffee maker. Great view of the water. My only complaint is I can't stay longer.

I just need to take a minute and give a 5 star rating to the Seagrass Inn. The owners Lisa and Peter couldn't have been any more friendlier. They made us feel like family coming home for a visit. Lisa was so sweet to my 7yo neice. That for the four days we were their we all kept referring to it as home. I can not say more on how wonderful we were treated. The room was super clean, the decor had a nice beachy vibe and the pool was crystal clear. I loved how everything was within a 5 to 10 min walk. I can assure you I will make it a point to go back every year to the Seagrass Inn. We had the best stay. Thank you both for your kindness. 💜

My wife and I were excited to come back to OOB and were lucky to have found this place. It's far enough away from the hoopla that it stays fairly quiet at night. Despite having a rail line behind it, i was able to sleep very soundly!. A nice pool area, grilling and gathering spot out back. The entire place has a relaxing vibe and has been meticulously cared for. The management and staff are friendly and accommodating in every way. Knowing I'd be coming back home to chemo treatment made this trip especially important to relax and unwind. Seagrass did this perfectly. We will be back!!

This is a decent place to lay your head down at night. The room was clean, and in a good location. The owners were nice to us and you can tell they care about the place a lot. There were cute places to sit outside that had lights at night. The room wasn't fancy at all but it's a good affordable option for a night or two.

The owners/operators of the resort were very friendly. Given covid-19 effects on staffing, they take up a lot of duties themselves and work hard to make you happy. You’re welcomed with a clean room and get a comfortable stay the entire time. Just a 2 minute walk across the street to the beach and a great pool on site if needed! Couldn’t recommend the stay and the people more. This is the place to stay if you go to Old Orchard!!

Nice place to stay that is just the right walking distance from downtown. Typical OOB motel room that was clean. Heated pool and good enough parking. The owners were very nice and welcoming. My kids loved the train and I really didn't mind it either. It rumbled the room a bit but the train horn was always blown at a good distance so, that was ok too. Kinda fun actually. I would return.

There was mix up on my part as far as the dates I was supposed to stay there. I booked it through Booking.com. so I had to pay for what I booked which I understand. I called and spoke to both of the owners .Pete just gave me the run around saying that I needed to speak to his wife because she dose the booking .Long story short I first canceled because the stay dates had gotten mixed upSo after I had canceled. I called back about two hours later to tell them that I was coming. They said that my room was rebooked and that I had to pay but I couldn't come . I do not like the way Lisa handled my booking or the hotel policy. I will do my business else where . They seamed like a couple of phonies and I was rite

The location was very convenient, but that was the only good part. The rooms are very old and not well cleaned. There was a layer of dust on the mirror and lamps. The floors were so filthy we had to keep our shoes on. I don't need a fancy room but cleanliness is a MUST! Thankfully we only stayed 1 night, I could not have stayed longer. The room/bathroom were very tiny and I felt like I was in a bad college dorm room. Also the worst part was checking in on a 90 degree day with no ac running in the room. The old unit took several hrs to cool our room and that was also filthy and smelled musty. Thankfully we didnt spend too much $$ but would never return or recommend.

Pros: Location: easy short walk to beach and pierRooms were nicely renovatedCons: About halfway through our stay an emergency exit hallway was closed and locked so there was no way to get from the front of the building to the back without walking around. With two small children this was not easy especially when half of our family was in the front and half was in the back. The owner claimed it was because our children were a liability because one of them ran one time down the hall. I'm thinking an emergency exit being closed is more of a liability! Next, the pool was closed on the second day of our visit without any notice from the staff or owner. Our booking site never mentioned the pool being closed. During our stay a large bus of teenagers was staying in several rooms. They had no supervision what so ever and were running from room to room, up and down stairs and hallways. At one point they even blew up a condom and put it on the chair in front of our room. Their bus took up four parking spots in the back of the building where we were told to park so we were forced to walk in the street around the building in the rain with a 1 and a 4 year old. Also, one room's ac was broken, and one had hair and chips on the floor when we arrived. When we mentioned this to the owner she was rude and did not try to help with our problems.Overall dissappointing experience. Owner should have a better attitude when problems arise. Not customer service focused at all.
