Really enjoyed this place. Serves and bartender were very friendly.Great drink selection but a little too expensive.They have outside sitting on the sand, unfortunately started to rain when I got there.We got some nachos and it was great. We were hoping to have dinner since their hours online said until 9pm but when my friends got there they informed us that they were closing early (at 7pm) because it was a slow day. I will come back but I will make sure I don’t go anytime close to their closing time so that doesn’t happen again. I leave in Portland and it is a bit of a drive for us.

I really wanted a place on the beach With drinks and live music. We drove up to pirate's patio and my husband immediately said no way. He thought it looked like a dive and decided that we wanted to go somewhere else.. We ended up walking down the strip to the pier and back. There was a security guard at the pier and I asked him where we could get good food he gave us a suggestion of the landmark but when we went over there we didn't like the menu. The security guard had also had suggested pirate's patio because I wanted to place on the beach. He said that they have really good pizza so I convinced my husband to go. Their drink menu is small not many Draft or cocktail options. We did find drinks that we both liked. We ended up getting the godfather pizza. The godfather is pepperoni sausage and cherry peppers. Pizza was amazing. My husband said it was the best pizza hes had in years. The view was stunning. The weather was beautiful. And John our server was great. We would definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

Great little place we just happen to stumble upon on a weekend venture to OOB. Live music was a nice bonus that day! We didn't have the food, but everything we saw come out, looked absolutely delicious. Drinks were great and reasonably priced, the bartender was really personable. Will totally be back next year when we come back!

If you are closed for the season or have reduced hours, UPDATE YOUR PAGE or put an outgoing message on your business phone! I just walked four blocks to try you out for an early dinner, it started to pour rain. Your Google page says you are open today!! I tried calling, no answer and no outgoing message! I get there and you are closed! Had to walk back in a downpour getting me soaked through and damaging my phone and car key fob! BEWARE!!! This place is either permanently closed or closed for the season!! Do not attempt to go there, you will be disappointed! Nice move, Pirate jerks!! Inconsiderate!!!

The food was good we got the pizza, burgers, and chicken Quesadilla. The quesadilla was stuffed! Veiw was nice of the water. Only problems we had was when people used the shower at the hotel nextdoor by the pool it would spray us and we waited quite a bit for out food.Parking: No parkingKid-friendliness: Was nice to the kids but the guy who was singing was packing up and Cussing like a sailor.

All wait servers all walked by us did not even recognize us standing there...restaurant wasn't even busy. then when one did cone buy us she seated us then after 5 minutes she approached our table like she never seen us before....could hear all servers talking trash about the restaurant...all it takes is one worker to poison the minds of employees....which was the bartender on the Thursday night....We were sitting within listening and they were not talking quietly...

Food & service was good - but the bees, inside and out - were overwhelming. Felt especially sorry for the bartender working amongst horrific numbers of bees everywhere. The entire building inside and outside needs to be fumigated!Parking: There is no parking available at the restaurant.

Fun place , but this pirates ☠️ ship has sailed. Good food good service and great entertainment. Also it's a good thing this ship sits in the parking lot cause it doesn't look sea worthy!Parking: WALNUT ST IS A SHORT STREET WITH FREE PARKING. MOST OF THE EAST AND WEST GRAND STREET PARKING IS PAY. PARKING IN OOB IN THE SUMMER HAS ITS CHALLENGES!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome when accompanied by adults. It is a Pirates Patio at the edge of the ⛱️.Wheelchair accessibility: Open patio seating at tables with umbrellas.

Great nachos and pizza. Staff is slow paced. Would be nice if they cleaned up the empty cups, used plates etc in between drinks and dishes. The amount of Bees that hung around due to the dozen plus empty cups on our table would scare anyone allergic to them. Also bathrooms could use better lights. Over all would return for the pizza!

The view is great, the service great, but I can't go five barely able to muster four stars. I realize they have to pay rent, but $10.00 for a beer in a very tiny plastic cup, a bit exorbitant, wouldn't you say? That being said, I will go back again, but just be aware that the drinks are over priced. The food is reasonably priced, typical greasy pub fair, nothing all that remarkable, but decent. I guess the drink prices keep the riff-raff out. lol.

So,my experience... kitchy little spot on the beach. Didn't come in with high expectations. It was warranted. My son ordered the $9 hotdog meal...the bun was burned on one side and had to ask for an untoasted bun. I ordered a Garlic shrimp Quesadilla for $16 and it was simply filled with baby bay shrimp. Music playing on speakers was cool mid 90's to mid 00's rock alternative. service was friendly. Was hoping for higher quality food for the prices but this apparently is the current state of restaurants around here

We went here last year for the first time and my kids have been begging us all week to go back.Their website says they are open, but when we called their phone message states they are only open Thur-Sun. All week we watched people trying to stop there, waiting a few minutes to determine if they were open, and then drive away.We finally were able to go our last full day of vacation. We walked in and the server was very nice and we were able to get a seat right away. The live band was performing some great songs and we were excited to eat.They were not running on their normal menu and handed us a paper listing "off season" menu items. The menu was just bar food.My son ordered the build your own pirate burger. They had just opened and didn't have any pickles. We told the server that was fine, but then right before the food came out the cook told the server they were just waiting on the pickles to come from the store. She informed us of this and then the cook told her he was joking they dont have pickles. My son is 9.While there several servers were making fun of guests on the patio. I recognize that this probably happens in every kitchen/restaurant, but normally it is not done infront of guests.My daughter had a quesadilla and the rest of us split the nachos. Most of the chips and tortillas were overcooked (charred) and the cheese was only partially melted.We all ordered soda, which came in a 12oz ice filled cup, and cost us $3.99 each. We were never offered refills. Our total bill was over $60 for 3 menu items and 5 sodas.When it came time to pay the wifi was down. The waitress told us we would have to wait. When we mentioned we were paying cash and could they just calculate our bill the old fashioned way, the waitress panicked and began complaining to the bar tender about us.We had to wait 15-20 minutes for the wifi to come back on before we could pay. We gave her the money and waited for our change, but she made us another 5 minutes while she put in another guests order.Worst experience of our trip.

First time in Maine. This was something I thought would be an awesome stop. Went in and no one even came to table to see what we needed (not busy). I had to go to the bar for a drink and ordered 2 drinks and the bill was $20. A little pricey for a not so great place. No one was really friendly until we were leaving. A little to much to late. Sorry!

The perfect place to relax with your toes in the sand and listen to some all stars bands! Pizza is amazing, drinks are well poured and the experience is one of a kind. The bartenders are friendly and fun, the servers are so fast and i never wait for anythjng here! Love the Rum bucket!! And Jello shots too!!

I'm gonna bump this to 5 stars (from 4 based on a 2019 trip). Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Food is good, waitstaff was excellent. Get the Tex Mex Nachos......you won't regret it!

What's amazing to me is that we have walked right past this place right on the beach for quite some time! The food and drinks were awesome and we had a view overseeing the beach. I can't say enough great things about this little hole in the wall! It's a must stop when we go to the beach from now on.

This establishment is not yet open for the season, but solely based upon the exterior I plan to stop there for a meal with my daughter. I love the Kitsch of what appears to be a boat hull built into the building. I don't know if it is a real boat or if it is just some garish mock-up of a boat, but it doesn't matter because I genuinely like it.Anyway, what I was doing on this day was accessing the beach from beside their parking lot so I could take a few pictures of "The Pier" of Old Orchard Beach, OOB for the locals. Food was microwaved. Would not accommodate our vegetarian friend. Music was way to loud. Bartender served weak drink and when asked about it said “in Maine we are not allowed to do double shots”. I’d love to see where that law is written. I’m from Maine. Waitress was nice. Tipped her well but we will never be back.

Our waitress ignored us for 45 minutes seemingly on purpose. Eventually took the hint and left as it became clear she had no intentions of bringing us our drinks. Will be advising our airbnb guests to avoid this place which sucks since it’s across the street from our condo.
