DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had at OOB. The pictures they show are NOT the room you will get, it is false advertising and had us fooled. The room we did get for $350 a night (we stayed two nights) we’re so tiny there was no room to put bags and we would constantly bump into each other. The bathroom is just big enough the stand and sit on the toilet. There were drug bags under the bed which obviously hasn’t been cleaned in months. Our feet were black just from walking on the rugs. In the next doors room they had a bottle of bed bug killer. Cigarette smoke was coming in our room from the ac unit where people were hanging outside and being loud. I asked to change to a different room and they would not accommodate that. I didn’t sleep one night as I was worried about bringing bed bugs home. GO ANYWHERE ELSE, what a horrible and expensive experience…..

Cute little motel with great location. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. However, giving 3 stars for the other trashy visitors at the motel. We had people next door to us who smoked right outside our room and it was disgusting. Other people let their children run and scream across the rooms super early in the morning. Staff didn't seem to care or hold guests to standards so everyone can enjoy their stay. Ultimately next time I will look for a classier place with less trash visitors. Sad because this place is cute and dog friendly.

My family & I stayed here end of July for 4 nights & 3 days. Had the family suite with Kitchnette. It was clean, plenty of bedding, pillows, towels & small supply of toiletries. Surprising as most places you have to bring your own. Beds were very comfy, there were 3 adults & 3 kids, all slept comfortably. Kitchnette was great with full size fridge, all clean. Pool was excellent, kids had a ball! Short walk to Pier & beach. Whatever you needed or forgot Dollar stores right there. Staff & owner very accommodating & pleasant. If you're a family that wants clean & comfy(& are not high maintenance) this is the place!! Thank You owner & staff for a wonderful time!!

We just needed a place to lay our heads and weren't going to be in the room long. The room is quite small, but had what we needed. Bed was comfy, pillows were great, shower was hot!Rooms: Small room, but comfy.

BEWARE!! This was the dirtiest, creepiest place I have ever stayed. The floors were filthy, the sheets were crumby and had hairs all over. There was a door that lead to a utility closet with only a lock on the inside in our room. We pushed the table in front of the door because we were so scared. We checked in after hours so no one was working or we would have asked for a refund and left.

Room was adequate, but lighting was poor. People outside all hours, dogs barking, not easy to sleep there. Was booked for four nights after three had enough and left.Safety: Did not feel safe there at all!

Avoid this place like the plague! The room was relatively clean, but the carpet was filthy - I mean so filthy that it turned the bottoms of our socks black. The lighting was awful and the layout of the room was horrible. How you can have a TV that isn't easily viewable from either bed or the couch is beyond me.The AC was adequate and the wifi was good, but the bathroom...oh, wow...the bathroom was a small step up from a prison bathroom. Nowhere to put your toiletries, a shower that is a 2-foot square, and barely enough towels to dry your hands.Next up - the spiders. Not kidding - had to kill spiders on nearly every trip to the bathroom. Pretty sure one bit me on the forehead, too. There were the barest minimum of electrical outlets and the ones that there were couldn't have been in any less convenient places.The pool was small, but nice as was the full-size fridge. Do NOT stay here unless you want to feel like you're staying in a homeless shelter. For the price we paid, I would have rather taken the money and burned it on my front lawn.

We stayed 5 days at the Dock house inn and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, beds comfy. The kitchenette was the perfect size. We were originally looking for ocean front, but found this gem and glad we decided to stay the week here. It was quiet, and couldn’t have asked for a Better stay! 5* rating

Great location especially if you have kids, make sure you ask for a menu at the Domino's next door because there are plenty of coupons on there and if you don't ask for it they will not give it to you. Family Dollar General close by there's a sub shop in the same plaza as Domino's very affordable breakfastRooms: Rooms were small but they were very very clean and that's all that mattersNearby activities: The whole pier is about an 8-minute walkSafety: Seem like a safe hotel

The staff was nice but the room was disgusting. It was very surface clean, but smelled of mildew. Cigarette smoke was coming through the walls from another room. I was in the corner and there were people over me who partied and played loud music all night long. The bathroom sink was loose on the wall, and the 2nd night actually came dislodged and water was everywhere. Weird mix of people who seemed to be living there long-term, and travelers such as myself. A big nope.

Great place for a simple stay, especially if you're planning to be out and about anyhow. It's got the perfect location: beaches, putt-putt, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Dollar General, Family Dollar, and a Domino's are all right next door. Portland and Saco are only about 20 minutes away driving. It's a seemingly safe area, plus there's a pool. Great value!

Stayed 3 nights .. room was very clean and perfect for 2 of us. Close to the beach about a 5-10 minute walk. Management is on the premises If you have an issue. Store and nice park next to it. Seating outside of each room and a well kept pool.Down side was there wasn't a coffee maker in the room, house keeping didn't come every day and when they did they didn't leave more towels only took out the trash.Would stay again .. the price was great and the location was too .

Location is the only thing that this hotel has in their favor. They are within walking distance of the pier and beach. When we got there and checked into our room, the toilet would not flush, a puddle on the floor, and there was a musty smell in the room. We went directly to the office and told them about the issue. They sent maintenance to fix the problem, and ended up having to put a whole new toilet in. We asked for another room, but we were told there were none available and waited over two hours to have the issue resolved. We were not offered any reimbursement. We stayed three nights, and the whole time we were there the room felt damp and musty and we woke up with sinus issues each morning. I am not sure if this is all the rooms, or just the one we were in. However, there was a thick coat of dust on the window AC unit, and dust in other places throughout the room. It was a tiny room with no room to even hang clothes. No coffee maker was available. There were also patched holes in the bathroom that were not even painted over. Towels were not replaced daily, or even offered. All the laundry appears to be done in the office area with no professional cleaning company. The sign outside the hotel did not even say "Dock Side Inn" so we had a difficult time finding the location. Overall, we were disappointed in our stay here, after traveling all the way from VA.

Great location and friendly staff... Room was clean but air conditioner didn't work... Bathroom door didn't close and there's a car repair shop behind it that dumped some chemical that smelled up our room ( Windows open because ac didn't work) and we had to buy toilet paper in the morning because the office wasn't open till 9 and we didn't realize they didn't leave a full roll in there. 4 people in a room, you need a full roll.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Cannot warn enough. This place was absolutely disgusting! Room smelled so heavily of marijuana that it was nauseating. Management offered to spray from air fresheners. The room hadn't been cleaned and I felt like I needed a shower for just walking into the room. They showed us another room that was just as dirty and the people in the room next to us were having loud sex with their door open. Needless to say we did not stay. The only thing worse than the actual hotel is the staff. The manager actually accused me of going up to the first room and smoking a joint before I complained about the smell and cleanliness of the hotel room. Luckily we found another hotel option that actually cleans their rooms to stay at or we would have driven two hours home rather than stay here. But it's our mistake. You get what you pay for...pay for trash and you get trash.

Only thing good about our stay was the location. The pillow had black spots all over it. The bathroom was discusting Black around the shower rusty sink faucet and it barley drained also along with what looked like mold on ceilings and hair in shower. Not worth the money we spent the photos online are not what it’s like in person other then the yellow walls.

If you like cockroaches, stay at the dockhouse inn. No cleaning service, rooms/bathrooms too small, and very outdated, rug was constantly wet from the AC And AC didn’t keep the room cool. Not kid friendly at all. Room smelled damp, no room to cook, loud neighbors. The icing on the cake was finding a cockroach in the bathroom. If you arrive at the Dockhouse Inn, put your car in reverse immediately and seek better shelter!

I came up from Connecticut to visit friend stay there two days staff friendly yes prices high for Out of Season room and absolutely no TV. Been to Maine five or six times all motels have garbage 4 TV four or five channels of Andy Griffith in Little House on the Prairie. You would think making the money that they make per night there they could afford to have cable

If I could no stars I would. We paid for the 12 o'clock check in, and weren't allowed to check in till after 4 after a 6 hr drive. Management is unapologetic and rude. Rooms were dirty, smelling of mildew. Every time someone used the water in any neiughboring room, it sounded like the pipes were going to rip threw the wall. Woke us up at night. Don't go here!!

It's now called the The Luxor. I will never stay again. The bed kept coming apart. Left with a half of roll of tolit paper untill the next morning. The pool was nice and the staff was nice. But not worth the money. Never again.

It's a nice place but for the money you spend here you don't get anykind of turn down service, rooms are very very small,air conditioner are too small to cool the room the windows in the orange doors are always and held in with foil tape,window ciles and screens are clogged with enough dirt to start an ant farm for real no joke also no dressors for clothes just enough room to have two beds a table and a micro fridge don't get me wrong it's got a nice feel around here people wise but the place is just not up to snuff on the little things like paint or cleaning or turn down service or fresh toilet paper or windows that work or are not from the 1960's they do have new blinds for the windows they are just to small and don't cover up enough so everyone sitting on the porch can see right in but all in all it was a good stay I'm not picky at all just glad i did not pay more then I did and had a good trip with my family
