We were underwhelmed by our recent visit to Treehouse Taqueria.The pilgrimage up the stairs on the side of the building promised a grand adventure, the outside courtyard and the covered patio make for great and interesting spaces too.Even the inside dining area is cute and cozy.The food is hot and miss. And the service was disappointing.We ordered chips and salsa. The chips were stale and the salsa was more like chili sans the meat and beans. We tried a few, but ultimately sent it back. Curiously we were unclear whether they were going to bring us a fresh batch or what.The tacos were interesting, the chicken was o.k.; the jack fruit primarily tasted of pineapple, the veggie taco was out of this world delicious, flavorful and just the right amount of spice.It took a while to pay up, as our server was not very visible - and it is a small place.On the upside, the chips and salsa was credited to our bill.

Treehouse Taqueria!! My favorite place in the world!!The food: I have never had such a tasty meal CONSISTENTLY from any other restaurant. Been coming here since 2020, and every visit & year is always so tasty and filling. Never have had a complaint about the food. (Please be mindful that they are not trying to be authentic Mexican. If that is what you’re looking for , go to Banditios for food —but drinks here!)Drinks: AMAZING! Never have had better drinks anywhere else. I mean COME ON, buckets??!! Yes please! There’s a drink on the menu call the peachy pineapple sangria! GENIUS!Atmosphere: it is incredible! It’s Instagram worthy and so cute, no matter where you sit. It just brings such relaxation and fun.Workers: so amazing and kind. They check on you just enough, but not too much. They do not rush you and make great conversation.It just doesn’t get better than this. Every time I visit Ogunquit, Treehouse is our first stop. It will always hold a special place in my heart. We got 1 of each of the 5 normal tacos and they were each amazing! We loved trying them all and the margaritas were good! Can't go wrong here. Thank you to the sweet staff too!

Worst “mexican” food ive ever had, im not just saying that for effect. Waitress was nice, atmosphere nice. Food absolutely sucked. They didnt have carnitas on a friday night going into the weekend. What? The birria tacos were gross, pollo tacos were edible. Guacamole definitely is from frozen with possible fillers. Its expensive. The worse part is being charged a 3% “kitchen appreciation fee”. The kitchen, is a dude with a man bun/pony tail that looks like he couldnt make a ham sandwich slapping premade food together. Its insulting to charge that fee for what is at best, bar food. Regardless i still tipped my waitress well, its not her fault.

Food was absolutely excellent! Hostess was great! We got take out because we had our 15 month old with us, but that being said the restaurant looked like a fun place to be. Only negatives were the online ordering system was down and nobody seemed aware of it when I brought it up, and nobody answered the phone when we tried to call in our order. But it was well worth going in person to order. Had our food and bucket of marg within 10 minutes.Vegetarian options: My party didn't get anything vegetarian, but I know the options seemed abundant.Parking: There is a free parking lot across the street but if it's full at the busiest times of the day, good luck. It is downtown Ogunquit so you have to expect that.

I'm not sure if there's any other Mexican places in Ogunquit, but that's a good thing because they'd have trouble competing with this place. The restaurant itself gives off a great vibe with a variety of seating options, but I do not think it is handicap accessible. The staff were amazing as they handled a group of 8, including two toddlers, about five minutes after they opened. The drinks were delicious and presented well. The birria tacos reminded me of growing up in Mexico and the hot sauce wall was 🔥 and nothing I've ever seen in another restaurant. Another spot you have to try when you're in town.Vegetarian options: At least two entrees, actually three, that were vegetarian. Wheelchair accessibility: Unless they are hiding an elevator, this place is only accessible by an outdoor staircase.

The catch of the day was tuna and it was pure perfection. My favorite however was the other special, an heirloom tomato taco. Honestly, it was one of the greatest tacos I've EVER had. The layers of flavors were decadent. The guacamole was also excellent. Drinks were available by bucket and were so yummy. This was one of my favorite meals in Ogunquit.

My 12 yr old and I ate here recently. We sat outside on couches enjoying the trees. Perfect cocktails, the best Queso we’ve ever had. Divine short rib tacos! Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Had a vegetarian taco quite good. Kiddo had the beyond taco also deliciousKid-friendliness: My tween was quite happy with menu and non-alcoholic drink options!

Got seated immediately with no reservation (I don’t think they take them)Quick service and tasty tacos!I went with the jackfruit bbq tacos and the impossible taco with rice and beans. We also had the charred salsa to start which was nice .. not spicy if that’s what you’re looking for.The live music was great as well.Katerina is the best ✨

Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. The tacos were good, i liked the catch of the day. The street corn was very good. I would like to see them add a hotter salsas, red and green and not habanero. Habanero is not a good flavor, maybe just a little cayenne would do the trick. Drinks were ok so i guess for a new place they are going through the learning process. They are good so go there and enjoy it for yourself, I'll definitely be back.

This place is amazing all around. The food, the drinks, the highly Instagramable decor. Watching the bartenders make drinks was as exciting as the drinks were delicious, and the food was fun, fresh and tasty. This will definitely be one of my new summer haunts.

Really cool restaurant...it's at the top of a staircase, so you might miss it at first, but it has a really cool aesthetic and atmosphere. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced too!

Had really good tacos !The coleslaw on the other hand was not the best tasting.Maybe you're supposed to put it in your tacos but As a stand alone food item,It lacks flavorToo much vinegar.Not taste at allHorrible!Neither of us could eat it.Our server asked us if we would like rice and beans instead but we said no thank you.

Pretty good food at a reasonable price. Some misses though. The homemade guacamole, which was a higher priced appetizer, was plain and lacked seasoning. Menu is very small with very little selection - big negative that almost caused us to walk back out. Beef tacos are best bite - outstanding. Great view, and good service bump this up from a 3 star to a 4 star.

We only went there for drinks. Guacamole was ok. We did not like the drinks at all. I cannot comment on the food itself. But as a Hispanic, it did not appear to be a location I would go for Mexican food. Maybe for tex-mex. Service was good though. Location/interior was well designed. At atmosphere was what one would expect from any restaurant in this area

The best place in town! The owner went above and beyond to make sure our party of nine had all food allergies/children and old guy issues met! Pete, the owner, with is charm and one liners had us all laughing at ourselves and our family accommodations! The food was so fresh and definitely cooked to order and the cocktails were also a big hit. I had the spicy skinny Margarita, well actually two, and they were fabulous! Atmosphere and decor was perfect! Felt very safe dining here due to the precautions that were in place! Thank you Pete for an amazing experience!

Great end to a day by the ocean! The drinks were delicious - highly recommend their house margarita - and the food was excellent! They did a great job incorporating local flavors with authentic Mexican cuisine. The lobster tacos were filled with lobster meat, and the others were a perfect combo of meat, fresh veggies, and sauce. Generous helpings, amazing service, and a fun, festive environment with great music. Went back the next day for more.
