We enjoyed dinner here on a Monday evening. Lots of restaurants are closed on Mondays so we were pleased to find this spot. I had the Caesar salad and the calamari. The salad was good, the calamari was not crunchy or hot, I would skip this. My Mom had the shrimp (fried) which were good, not over cooked. We shared carrot cake and blueberry pie, they were both excellent. Our server was Analiese, she was friendly and reasonably attentive. We were seated quickly in the bar area at a high top table. The lighting was nice and the music wasn’t too loud which I so appreciate.Parking: There is a small parking lot in the back

Nice place. Clean, bright, new. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Had the baked haddock. Came with rice and broccoli. Not the most imaginative creation but everything was piping hot, which is hard to do with broccoli. The crumb topping on the fish was light, crispy and full of flavor. The fish was flaky and good consistency not that grainy texture from frozen fish. The blueberry pie was excellent. The small wild blueberries are much more flavorful than the large store brands. And free parking! We tried a place down the street but it was $30 to park. I don't pay that in NYC. I give a 4 only because the meal while very good and probably healthy was kind of boring. I don't know what would have made it interesting but that's why I'm a critic and not a chef.

Lobstah Cobb Salad! For me this is the most delicious pile of lobster with amazing extras in Ogunquit. A healthy pile of meat in the center of a salad with bacon, onion, avocado, boiled eggs, blue cheese— and a house white balsamic dressing that takes it over the top. So much flavor and so filling!Then of course, my favorite drink from bartender Sherry: Maple Gin Fizz. Bright and fresh and boozy, with a great relaxing maple flavor around back.Whether outside in the beautiful yard, or cozied at the indoor bar… this IS a catch.

The Maine Catch is great! It is tucked away in Ogunquit away from the chaos of downtown. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Their staff was friendly and accommodating, too! I would recommend The Maine Catch if you’re in the area and looking for an authentic Maine meal. The food is a tad bit overpriced (ex. bakers dozen oysters for $42), but you can tell everything is quality and fresh. They do take reservations and have plenty of off street parking, which is a god-send in Ogunquit! Enjoy!

Food was very delicious. We sat outside with a very nice ambiance. They gave us kids menu and disposable sippy cup for my toddlers.I preferred the lobster mac and cheese over the lobster roll, just because I felt like it had more flavor. I would definitely recommend this place.

I absolutely love their sister restaurant, roberts Maine grill and so that was my expectation given it’s such a similar menu. It met and exceeded all expectations!! It really blew me away from service, decor, and flavor. There’s no duds on the entire menu so I can’t really recommend one thing Loredo than the other it all is great but whenever I get the pastas I ask for extra extra garlic but that’s just me.

Newer place in Ogunquit on the way to Perkins Cove. Bonus: they have parking. Beautifully renovated. Very clean with high end nautical decor. Food was very good. Service was a little bit slow, but very professional. May be due to staffing shortage in this area. Overall a solid dining choice with indoor and outdoor seating. A place you will recommend to others. Still new to the OGT scene. Great location.

Besides the food being absolutely delicious. The service is where The Maine Catch really shined. Our waiter was attentive, funny, quick and entertained our 3 year old with drawings, funny noises and she really took to him.We had the calimari (extremely fresh and the sauce is spicy and amazing), blt wedge and ceaser salad which we're both extremely large portions and great. My wife had the buccatini with clams and she loved it and I had the penne fra diavolo with lobster and it was incredible.Next time we visit this will absolutely be one of our stops

Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is a gem. The service is incredible. We were greeted by every employee we crossed eyes with which made us feel very welcomed. The employees are very eager to help and are very kind. We have been here twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner both times the food was absolutely delicious. It’s also very aesthetically pleasing. They have indoor, outdoor and bar seating. The only downfall, which the staff was very apologetic for is that there are no changing tables. Keep that in mind if you have little ones. We will definitely be stopping here every time we are in Maine.

My hubby and another couple have been in Ogunquit for 7 days.Went into The “Maine Catch “ for a lunch.Super Loved it sooo much !Went back for dinner twice! Mind you the choices up here are huge! We have eaten in many places every year ! Maine Catch is our overall New Favorite restaurant in Ogunquit!!!!!!The Lobster Risotto picture below is out of this world!I loved it!!! Had to have it twice!The menu is fabulous!The staff is FANTASTIC!!!Management Fantastic!!!We LOVE it Here!!! YOU WILL TOO!!! A MUST TRY!!!!!

Food was fantastic! We had the Cobb salad with lobster and the crab and avocado melt. Perfect dishes to share and delicious! The blueberry pie was next level. Form and not soggy on the bottom. Service was also amazing. We didn’t wait for a table but we noticed long lines in to eat in the center of town. And while the restaurants in Perkins Cove looked very inviting on the water the reviews all said the food wasn’t great, so The Maine Catch was really the perfect choice. We have high food standards. Also loved the outdoor seating.

I've been in the past, and have a great time, this time was completely opposite of that. The hostess shouldn't have that job, she was rude and just so obviously didn't care. We tried to get a drink at the bar, aside from telling us to move multiple times, the bartender didn't acknowledge us once despite standing there for 15 minutes as well as being told by the "hostess" we could go get a drink before we were sat. Our waiter was a super nice dude, but messed up our initial bill, and we were charged twice as much. The food was good though, I got the baked haddock, had great flavor, only positive part of the experience. Maybe when you put out ads for jobs next year you should include "actually can perform in a service industry job"

Absolutely incredible experience!The dining areas were pretty packed so we opted for the bar and got a seat right away.We loved all of our food but the highlights are the stuffed clams (which they added chorizo to and came out delicious) and our scallops. I had mine fried while my wife had them grilled. Both perfectly cooked, fresh, and so tender. We overheard the staff telling customers about their fried food, how they clean out the oil after every night. I wondered how they got the scallops and fries so perfect and that was key.At the end of the night, we asked for the coconut lemon cake and espresso martinis. The drinks came out great but they were out of the cake. The bartender (who was also our server for the most part) came out with slices of carrot and chocolate cake and asked if we wanted one or both instead (nudging us to take both lol). She even said they were on the house since she knew we wanted the other cake. Not only were the other desserts delicious (particularly the carrot cake!), but we've never been to a restaurant that offered anything like that to us. Most places would just have us pick something else.The bartender working on 7/31 was awesome! Really attentive and was killing it behind the bar. She held it down on a busy night!We highly recommend this spot!

Came for lunch on a Saturday with a party of six and sat outside. It was not crowded at all. Service was quick and pleasant. I had the Haddock Rueben which I was hoping to love, having had one last year at a Maine diner that was really amazing. This one was not. It was a very dry sandwich that was hard to swallow and surprisingly tasteless. I almost asked for more tartar sauce but the waitress was gone at that point. It really needed something so I slid my pickles onto it just so I could finish it. I had ordered coleslaw but got fries so I couldn't add more slaw which would have helped. Since someone else got the bill I didn't make a fuss but when we left, several others in the group commented on their disappointment with the food. None of us are complainers so this was unusual. I think two had the fish and chips. The Bloody Marys were very good! Maybe if I return Ill try the Cobb Salad.

The food was good. The service was not good at all. Not only was she not personable but she rarely came to see if we needed anything and we were served our food at different times. We were a table of five adults and two children. I asked what the lobster Milanese was and her response was “ a lobster” .. ok how about the six shrimp that come with it? I ordered it and all she said was “its 54 dollars” to which I said “ ok”. The experience was lack luster due to service which really stinks when you drop 700 bucks.

On Tuesday, May 16 and again on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 my wife and I had the pleasure of dinning in your Maine Catch Restaurant. We had two servers who were full of life. A male and a female provided us with the makings of a great night. Each night we both chose the salmon dinner. The service was outstanding and the food quality was great. We will be back. Thanks again for the great service and meal.
