We were brought into this place by the free samples of fudge, and were not disappointed by anything else! The food is so wonderful and came out fast, the service was very friendly and accommodating, and we had a great experience on the patio with our very own table with a fire in the middle. Great spot we would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Let me start by food and service is on point at this place. Lobster roll which was more like a sandwich on a fresh baked roll had a great bite to it. The bacon wrapped scallops were big bursting with flavor. The fried haddock was good but could use a little more season in your breading. But at that point it’s just nit picking. My only 1 problem is why no delivery for such delicious food. I’m sure for the same reason I most likely won’t return. The parking or lack of. It was a three quarter mile walk up hill just to get lunch to go. Such a shame I digress. My suggestion would be to partner up with a local store like the craft shop and add a couple spaces for your take out. Would boost your amount of take out orders ten fold. All around a great bite and must try.

While on our weekend vacation we ate here every single night! There were so many options to choose from and everything was absolutely delicious. We found from other restaurants the lobster on the menu here were really large chunks of real lobster meat that we did not get anywhere else, at market piece. The atmosphere for the evening is quaint and personable with the gas lighted tables outside. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating with any requests. Ask for Samantha or Kevin, our favorites!!

We had a delightful time at this charming restaurant. We had crab cakes, lobster bisque and flatbread and I thought I died and went to Heaven the food was SO good!! Excellent service and super cute outdoor spaces. It was chilly but we were warm and snuggly in our little space. I cannot recommend this place high enough for its overall incredibility!

Came here for lunch after walking around the shops and got our personal table in a little tent outdoors (due to covid). The table had a built-in fire pit too! Dogs are allowed at the outside table and we saw them all sitting at the table. Too cute. The lobster bisque was so good and creamy and with a chunk of lobster. The lobster roll was more like a lobster sandwich and my lobster salad seemed to have more lobster. The salad was great though and had raspberries, grapes, and blueberries in it.

Wonderful dining experience. Great food, fun atmosphere and super wait staff. This was a cool evening and the table top gas flames were the perfect touch. Also loved the after dinner fudge!!!

The food was good, my mom had ordered a burger and it was slightly cold and more rare than we had asked for. Everything else was fine, it’s not my favorite place but it was good. The staff was friendly. The environment and ambiance of the restaurant itself was really nice.

Went into the bar for a drink. Positive experience, tasty drinks and the recent renovations to the bar were amazing. Such a great spot. Kevin (owned by his family) was cool and was very attentive. Indoor and outdoor seating option in the heart of downtown Ogunquit. Menu had a wide variety of offerings. Great location to chill and people watch.

We were offered fudge as a free treat and couldn't get past the amazing smell so we popped in for lunch. The lobster bisque was not the best the day we were there. It was bland and so thick it was the consistency of nacho cheese dip. The fish and chips however were to die for. Some of the best fried haddock I have had. Very light but crispy crust perfectly cooked. Calamari was also to die for. And even the house salad was delicious;lived the addition of berries and fresh broccoli and mushrooms. What a way to elevate a simple salad!! Service was impeccable and the front porch ambiance was exactly what we were looking for.

The food, staff and outdoor fire table were excellent! One of the best fish and chips dinners I’ve ever had, fresh fish in a very light batter. Crab cakes and wings were also great and their homemade fudge topped it all off.

A beautiful place to eat right in the center of town - they have fires in the center of the outdoor tables & blankets as needed, it's really beautiful & romantic; great service, no problems getting separate checks, seasonal. The only reason for 4 stars is b/c there were only two choices for vegetarians but the butternut squash Flatbread was fabulous! (the impossible burger was the other option, it would have been great to see another option created by the chef as opposed to the same, tired option most restaurants have) I also got a slice of the pumpkin spice cheese cake to go - just incredible, New York style w/ just the right amount of pumpkin 😋 They have samples of fudge at the hostess stand when you come in & give you more with the check (I'm a chocoholic but that pumpkin fudge was honestly the best) I'll be back next season!!Vegetarian options: 2 main course options: impossible burger & squash & parsnip FlatbreadDietary restrictions: Gluten-free optionsParking: Street or town lot

This was my first visit with some friends. They offer a nice setting for people watching next to the main street in Ogunquit, with a number of tables that also double as fire pits. There was no parking to speak of, so that is a bit of a drawback. The service was just fine, but our waiter had a nose ring dangling down... not a great fashion statement and not the setting for free expression. Anyway, he was friendly and did a good job. The food is a titch on the high side for the portion they provide, but the food quality was good. Cocktails ranged from about $12 to $16, but beer was $7-9, a bit more reasonable. Personally, I wouldn't probably go back unless friends wanted to. It just was a "good" in my opinion, just not too impressive. If you found this review helpful, please tap the thumbs up to let me know. Thanks!

My husband and I had a wonderful meal there yesterday. The service was fantastic, the spicy caramel wings were absolutely delicious, as was their fabulous broccoli salad (and I generally dislike raw broccoli) but it was delicious. Without a doubt I'll be back in Ogunquit just to eat here again. Oh and that blueberry mule was also amazing, especially with the fresh, fragrant Maine blueberries in it. 10/10, thank you for a wonderful evening.

Good food and drink at decent prices. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. We ate outside in October, and were well protected from a light shower under the tarp, and we’re warmed by a quaint propane fire mid table. The baked seafood dishes are delicious, highly recommend.

Touristy, a bit in the weeds BUT with very good food. Ground zero at Ogunquit town. Haddock tacos with their broccoli salad was spot on.

So, I will start with saying that the service was absolutely amazing. Really friendly and nice staff (otherwise I would give 1 star). Now the food!!! I ordered Chicken. It. Came undercooked and basically almost raw. They replaced (per my request) with a burger. So the burger was well done (as I asked, did not want to rusk again), however it was TASTELESS. Its not just enough to put peace of meat on a grill. Its about taste and also the salas was dry, dressing to vinegary. Look, I get it its high frequency place in small tourist town. But you still need to put some thoughts into a food you serve and prepare. Make sure its fresh and it has flavor. Its not like they are the only restaurant in the town.

WOW! Our experience at Rose Cove last night was phenomenal! We loved the outdoor table with the fire pit in the middle! From the beginning the hostess was so cheerful; it was busy but she kept smiling! Our waitress was so sweet! We ordered and appetizer which came super fast! And it was delicious! The scallops and bacon melted in your mouth! Let’s talk about dinner! WOW! I had the baked haddock with the broccoli salad and mashed potatoes. It was the best baked haddock I think I’ve ever had. From the mustard glaze and crumb topping to the creamy mashed potatoes! Simply amazing! My husband and our friends ordered the Surf and Turf. The lobster was plentiful and delicious! We can’t wait to come back to Rose Cove! Be kind if you have to wait! It is SO worth it!! 😊

We were vacationing in Ogunquit and this was one of the first places we ate. We had lunch on the front patio which was covered from the sun which was great since it was a hot day. Our server was so nice and gave us lots of recommendations for stuff to do in town while we were there. The food was tasty and the free fudge samples were a special treat when we got the check. The tables are a little uncomfortable since they also serve as fire pits at night, which would be a cool experience, but during they day they are covered up. We would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner and hope to return another time.

To be honest, I’d save your money and go somewhere else. Even though the outdoor seating was nice with the fire and ambience, the long wait to sit down and the long wait for our food was not worth it. The portions aren’t great either for its price. The lobster sautéed was bland, and the seafood platter was alright. I just think there’s a lot that they can do better. Not worth it.

Nice place to sit back, relax and watch the summer traffic roll by. I love the fire pits at each table especially as we went later in the evening.Had the fish and chips which was very good. Our service was just right. Not too intrusive but still attentive.

Really loved the atmosphere, service and food. Prices were very reasonable given the beach location and Hannah our server was excellent. I enjoyed their ultimate veggie burger was surprisingly full of flavor. Definitely try a piece of their complimentary homemade fudge while enter, passing by or leaving.

Phenomenal experience. We've been to ogunquit several times and never ate here. Our intended restaurant was closed, and so we dined here instead. Our server, Samantha, was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Our daughter has food allergies and can not eat egg (an ingredient in several of their kid friendly dishes), so the chef made her fish without using an egg wash, and it was delicious! 10/10. Will definitely return on our next trip!

Be wary of the veggie burger. I took 2 bites and realized it was ground beef. The server and the hostess both told be it was the veggie burger made to look and taste like beef. The server told me I could get something different and not be charged for the burger but if I didn’t get anything different I’d be charged, which makes no sense. I had totally lost my appetite so I paid 20$ for a few French fries and a bite of pickle.

Family-run restaurant, friendly staff... Shaved steak sandwich was an excellent, the haddock sandwich was also very very good. They make their own bread! if you're lucky enough you might get some fudge if Mama is there!
