Great small store with a variety of items. Surprisingly good selection of gluten free and Asian foods. The only thing I wanted that I couldn't find was cheese alternatives such as Diaya cheese. They also have grab and go items to pickup prior to a day on the lake. They made a lot of improvements over the last few years. The pharmacy and grocery store share the same entrance.

I love shopping here! They accrual have a large variety of foods and meats! We love their baked goods as well.

I LIKE Buddies cuz it's conveniently located near me and they have the best peanut butter whopping pies EVER.But it's pretty expensive.

Great place! Right in-between a supermarket and a convenience store. They don't have everything, but they have what I need most. The prepared meals are especially delicious!

I was greeted when I walked in which is something that's very important to me, it shows that you know I'm here. The store was neat and clean I did have to ask for something that I couldn't find n of course I walked right past it 😆 go figure. I recommend going in if you haven't.Thanks Buddies 😊🙋‍♀️

Small town store. Prices are high. Gotta watch the dates on items. A few times I have bought milk and it was out dated. This also happened when I bought sour cream. I try to avoid this store unless I am in a pinch. Its usually worth the extra time to go to a bigger store about 10 minutes farther. The employees are so-so. Many times I am cashing out and they don't say a word to me they talk to each other or other customers. They stock the shelves during the day and don't move or help you if you need an item. Overall not a great place. I give it 1 star only because I have to go there at times.

I go all the time to this store and I love it! Today was the worse time I felt there I wanted to get out as fast as I could. I asked an employee a question about an item that you always carried and for some reason I didn’t see them so I asked her where they were and her response was awful,very rude and I didn’t not like it at all! If she was having a bad day that’s ok but don’t take it out on the customers.

This is a hometown IGA. All of your basic grocery needs. They have a deli and weekly deals on a variety of items throughout the store. Not a huge shopping facility, but quaint and has your basic needs. Good prices on most things and a friendly small town atmosphere. They also have beer, wine and spirits.

The employees that have been working there for years are so friendly and helpful. Some of the newer employees, not so much. But they have a good selection, the prices fair on all the products I've bought there.

Buddies is a small family owned store in Oakland and it's been there for as long as I can remember. Owned by the same people since I was a little girl. They remember their regulars and treat all of their customers very well. They are very helpful and have some AMAZING home made soups, baked goods and entrees which I always find helpful after a hard day at work when I'm hungry, but don't want to have to cook. In stead of grabbing greasy, fatty poor quality food at a fast food joint, I grab a much more healthy meal at Buddies. I get their chilli at least a few times a week and they always have at least two other soups to choose from. They also have sandwiches and pre-made little dinner plates; usually lasagna, American chop suey, meatloaf and lots more.

They have all you need, food wise and adult drinks. Friendly workers, bakery products are excellent And ready to eat meals. Pizza kits and fair prices .

If you get WIC do not go to this store. They don't have half of what WIC approves, and they have stuff labeled as WIC Approved that is not. Also have poor customer service, and I have seen mice there on several occasions. Never going back!

I go here for home made breads and pastries. Also the stuff u forgot . I'll run in and pick up things like maple syrup, fresh vegetables ,tonic, potatoes. Just odds and ends . They always seem to have what I'm looking for. Always friendly service.

Way over priced on their items! Store is really small and compacted. The deli is a joke, have got spoiled meat from them before. Milk also twice! If you have the means drive 5 minutes down the road and go to Shaw's or Hannafords.

Rarely shop there but there are many good items such as the salads,bread an ready made meals.However,I bought wings that were outrageously overpriced and even my dog wouldn't eat them.Won't go there again.
