Thank you Walgreens for filling my prescriptions via sending text messages. Appreciate your service despite most of the bad reviews. I work retail and I think it's quite disgusting how people treat the the retail industry. Ever since covid, it's a very me world. Very selfish and mean. Everyone is short handed and doing the best they can. So thank you Walgreens for doing the best you can. ❤️

I had surgery yesterday, pain meds called in to Walgreens in Norway. Automated system not working when trying to check the status. My boyfriend called and spoke with the manager and was told they were short staffed and had 500 prescription to fill. Then she hung up on him. In the meantime I and suffering in pain due to having a metal plate put on my ankle. So done with Walgreens.

I needed a tetanus shot which I was told I could just walk in and get when I called. I have now been waiting over an hour. After completing paperwork, I was told to have a seat. I informed them that I am a registered nurse and completely qualified to administer the shot. I also offered to provide them my nursing license for confirmation of that. After approximately 1 hour of waiting one of the pharmacy techs came out and asked for my name and could I please tell her what it was that I was waiting for. I answered all her questions. Shortly after that the pharmacist stuck his head out into the lobby where I was waiting and asked me across the room if I had my medical records from when I last received a tetanus shot. I told him I had not received a shot within 10 years and that was in an emergency room somewhere and no I did not have the records with me. His response was "well it's kind of iffy if you don't have your records" I told him that I did not believe most people carried emergency room records with them from visits that happened over 10 years ago. I also explained that my doctor had attempted to call in a script for me to receive a tetanus shot but was told there was no need to do that because I could just walk in and get one. His response was "hmmm well I will give it to you". He then disappeared back into the pharmacy. About 10 - 15 min later I was called up to the register to pay for the shot I still had not received..Finally 2hrs after arriving I received my shot!

When calling to see if they have a specific product, a machine gives you the runaround for 5 minutes. Absolutely terrible.

Sunday 11/01/2020 5:45 PMI called before venturing out in the rain to the Norway Walgreens Pharmacy to verify pharmacy hours and to ensure that the influenza vaccine was available. I entered the pharmacy and patiently stood in line at 5:45 PM, 15 minutes before the pharmacy was scheduled to close. After the pharmaceutical employee assisted the customer at the drive thru she filled the prescription of the customer standing in line directly in front of me who arrived literally seconds before me. Then when it was my turn and I requested the influenza vaccine she refused and told me that the pharmacy closed at 6, despite the facts that I had arrived 15 minutes before 6 and that she had just assisted the customer directly before me. I work 60-70 hours six to seven days a week & when I call to verify pharmacy hours & arrive within that time frame to be refused service is completely unacceptable. I might expect this level of unprofessional & laziness from a fast food or gas station employee but certainly not from my local pharmacy.

Always pleasant- when I go in pleasant. C'mon folks, let's adjust our attitudes when being served by retail places.Pharmacy people are personable and professional. I'm impressed and thankful our town has this Walgreens.

I brought 3 things to the cashier and they took 10 minutes to ring them up. Nothing wrong with machine, no conversation nothing they were moving at a snail speed. It happens no matter who’s working any register the whole store seems to be on low gas instead of high speed.

Pharmacy was very prompt in calling my other Pharmacy in Rhode Island to transfer my information and my medications, I was a little dismayed when I saw that a certain medication was not covered, but yet Rite Aid covers it and Rite Aid is now a Walgreens pharmacy? Anyway, the story is pretty big and I saw their selection and just briefly looked over everything and overall, great service and very informative staff👍

I never had a pharmacy and group of pharmacists try so hard to help me. While visiting my new first grandson, I traveled from MA to ME and needed one rx refill my Ins The Hartford insisted I drive over 59 miles to the nearest CVS, they refused to change the pill (the generic just came out) they insisted I stick with the mg pill and not 2 pills at a time, like that matters. Walgreens pharmacy Kevin and Patrick deserve 5 stars each for their performance and persistence They saved me time and bought me time with my Grandson

called this morning at 9:54 AM to have them get my prescription ready, my boyfriend goes at 4:30 PM to pick it up and still not ready. I gave them plenty of time as you can see and as soon as he gets home I get a text saying it’s ready after they told him it would be an hour so now this will be our second trip out to get my prescription after giving them all day to get it ready and the woman was very rude to him. Absolutely unprofessional. They suck, for lack of a better description.

The whole store is full of helpful employees but the pharmacy has many exceptional people there. The pharmacists Wendy, Kevin and David are super accomodationg and always putting their customers first.Mindy and Linda are great at the registers and a joy to work with. Really a great store and they have good sales on their candy too :)

I have never had so many problems with a pharmacy as I have with this Walgreens. They never seem to have my medication available or they claim they can't order the brand of medication I need. I have had to have some of my medications sent to RiteAid in Lewiston. The pharmacy inside is Walgreens and I get much better service. I know that many of my friends are having issues as well. One friend needed her medication and they kept telling her it was too early to be picked up. When she was finally able to pick it up it had sat on the shelf for 4 days. Who are they to keep someone's medication from them. A friend of mine was having issues getting his medication and asked to speak to the manager. She looked over her shoulder and then kept doing what she was doing. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE or TIMELY PRODUCT AVAILABILITY. I don't know why their still in business they have LOST A LOT OF CUSTOMERS and they don't care. Bye bye Walgreens !!!!!!!!!!

I went in to buy a Jitterbug phone as they were advertised as being available to buy there. Didnt have any. Shouldnt advertise that you carry something if your not going to have any. NO ONE that I saw that worked there was wearing masks.

Literally called to ask a special favor, to stay open 60 extra seconds or so as I was coming from a hospital visit and picking up very important meds. They closed the door as I arrived and knocked, at 6:01. I realize its a chain, but how about going just that tiny extra mile for someone who this obviously meant a lot too. That really, really hurt.

Window lady was very rude to us when we just told her it wasn’t like 63 .. to 26 we kept saying that’s not right!! We have it on our app but she says we are trying to figure this out !!!! And there are a lot of people behind you!!! Ya?? So? We waited our turn!!!! It was7/1 at 4:22 pm

This Walgreen's sold me counterfeit meds, & wouldn't issue a refund. I came back within three days of buying a med I then knew to be counterfeit (retired RN). I didn't have the pill bottle on me at the time. I returned a few weeks later w/all the unused meds, after filling the script elsewhere. They remembered my telling them about the problem three days after my purchase, but refused to follow Walgreen's official returns policy (30 days, for whatever reason). The pharmacist, Kevin, knew I was entitled to a refund, & refused. Never spend a dime in this place, or any other Walgreen's. I doubt they ever even called the supposed manufacturer.

Absolutely ridiculous wait time at the pharmacy EVERYTIME I am there!!! Currently in drivethru two cars back and have been here for over a half an hour already. At what point to you get more help or ask the customer to drive around and come in?

Friendly service. Always have what I'm looking for. And I can pretty much guarantee that I won't have to wait in line so when I need to make a quick stop to grab a few things for home, this is my go to store.

Good place to get any over the counter medicine. Easier to navigate than the big box store with a wide selection. They also have a really good seasonal collection of items.

Called in to see if Western Union is there . They said yes . I get there and all if the sudden it's down asked a worker they said it's been down awhile
