I don't know what happened to the store after the remodel or if they sold it to somebody else. Their pizza is no longer that good. All their deli stuff seems not as good. I'm sad to say I probably won't be going back there anymore

Nice old school grocery store limited selection but what I really love is the sign collection the owner has displayed around the store it's an awesome sign collection they also have liquor beer and wine it's just a nice place to go for some old school shopping.

Gross 🤢,they don't use proper hand washing techniques,they mix chicken salad and seafood salad with their hands,they don't require to wash hands ,they have no working hand washing sink.They don't require changing of gloves between hot and cold sandwiches, people eat behind the deli while making your food.there food in the deli case is usually past date . I've been sick several times off of seafood as well as chicken salad.there tuna is not tuna.its imatation..their workers are rude.and the owners are loosing their mind,due to not keeping proper payroll. They are 🤢 nasty

Got a chef salad for 11 and it wasn't as good as Parkside. There was no salad dressing or offered salad dressing. Kinda of disappointing

Have lived a minute down the road for years and come here multiple times a week sometimes every day. Prices are expensive, but they really have a wide selection for a small store. Their hot holder food is good when in stock. Haven’t had a great experience with ordering food, takes a while, but I guess it was just one person working.The employee Alexis is very good and helpful give her a raise

Always love The Lake Store that's been around since my Dad was a kid! The outside is bring remodeled, I'm hoping the original decor is hung back up for nostalgic reasons but if not The Lake Store has some of the best food from their deli, yummy desserts, fresh donuts every morning & you can still boat, sail, paddle over via any water mode you choose! Friendly, clean, popular

This is s really good store ta stop at - for *all KINDSA* things, some ya might not expect, but all the staples too - including some nice prepared food, morning/b'fast stuff too, even some fruits/veggies, pizza slices, and nice friendly folks... AND, it's right across from a nice lake view, and a moment away from a rest stop where you can stop and munch on whatever ya just got! Yep, it's a good stop that I make pretty often!

Great store. Wide variety of items to buy. They make great sandwiches & burgers to go as well as a wide variety of prepared food already made. They have a wide variety of alcohol items from beer, wines & hard liquor to buy. Staff is courteous & friendly. Worth the stop if you need items you forgot to buy at the supermarket.

Don’t bother to order food after 7pm. I had to beg for them to make me a pizza at 7:24 when they are open until 8pm. They wouldn’t make mozzarella sticks or egg salad. Go to AJ’s Everything in Stoneham. They make great food!

There's something nostalgic about this little store (maybe it's just the memories my husband shares having grown up visiting the area), but it's fun passing on traditions to our child. Stopped in for bait and donuts. Also got a Cinnamon roll, which was THE best Cinnamon roll I have ever had!

I’ve been going to The Lake store for 20 years and haven’t had a bad experience until today. We go to order food and stood there for five minutes not even acknowledged until one of us asked if this was the counter we order at which the lady had an attitude when responding yes. While we wait for our order we go look at drinks for our kids and they were out of stock out of a lot of things. We then go to cash out and had two separate transactions and the cashier had no patience whatsoever and was rude to us. I’m just disappointed overall that a piece of my childhood has gone downhill. Will not be back. The food overall was OK but the overall experience was not satisfactory.

I hate to say it , but the woman who waited on me at the cash register had ZERO personality. I'm not sure if she's the owner or an employee , but her customer service skills are seriously lacking .

Worst cook ever worst food in the town of Norway breakfast sandwiches are disgusting eggs are chewy which is almost impossible anywhere Pizza is nothing but a loaf of bread with cheese on it there a pizza oven is garbage literally the worst cook around pretty much can't get worse at this point at least the food was edible before this owner

Great little store filled with just about anything you need. The pies are delicious and homemade... there store labeled spices are my absolute favorite, so many different combinations and so far all are my favorites..

We bought live bait (dillies) to go fishing at the lake. Sometimes it's a busy store but it's worth the visit. They have a delicious and you can order food my mother in law ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger w tomatoes & onion $4.85.

Haven’t tried the food yet, it’s probably great. But their coolers SUCK! Stuff purchased from there is not cold enough, not even close. And it’s been several purchases over a few weeks. Always the same, barely cool.ETA- I have changed my review from 3 to 5 stars! They have fixed the cooler and the food is excellent!

They have a wonderful takeout food service, including Fresh Sandwiches and pre-made dinner's ready for you to pick up right out of the front cooler. The staff what very knowledgeable and super friendly making it a very warm local experience. Personally I had a rare roast beef sandwich with Swiss cheese, fresh horseradish/ mayonnaise, and a soft roll. I tell you what, I devoured that along with my four-legged friend in under 5 minutes; it was delicious!!! I have found my new regular Hangout, I'm sure you'll agree... I wish them all the best!

A really decent small verity store from a roll of toilet paper to a hot sandwich 🥪 and everything in between. The counter people were very pleasant. Would definitely stop there again.

Conveniently located convenience store at the fork going to Norway, the lake, and the hill. Had all the necessities you may need when visiting from out of town. And their lobster rolls are pretty good too! Did I mention that the service was lovely too?! :-)

I've been going here over 30 years. The place is a staple of Norway lake. If they don't have it you don't need it. Donuts are the best you've had and they have one of the only beer selections around

Grab pickled sausage or eggs to go with your Italian, and a cold moxie or glass bottled coke to make it a full Maine meal. Great quality home cooked food. Best Italian Sandwiches around, the bread makes it.

Roast beef sub was not good. Beef was old, edges had hardened and turned color from sitting. Also grisly poor cut to begin with, and with low quality also too thick. Uck. It is 6:26 pm and I ate it at 1pm. Getting violent cramps, think it may have also been too old. Other than poor management of beef for sandwiches, very good ham sandwiches and very good bread. I do like their old Maine feel. Being born and raised in tiny town Maine. They should not sell roast beef sandwiches.
