We can early enough in the day that we didn’t even wait for a table. Service was great, our server was friendly and prompt. I had a lobster salad, my husband had the melt (I‘ll get that next time I’m in town), my daughter had the chicken tenders. Everything was delicious. Prices were also pretty reasonable. Will definitely come again next time visiting Acadia.

We hiked up Acadia mountain then found this little gem in downtown Northeast Harbor. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. They have gluten free option for sandwiches and the pizza. We got the seafood pizza, lobster quesadilla, and chicken wings. They are not skimpy on the seafood at all. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken wings were YUM and the seafood pizza… well I’m still thinking about it! The cocktails are good and priced very well. They waitress found out it was my birthday and brought me the one gluten free dessert they had and my family sang happy birthday to me. It was very sweet!! As a birthday treat I got the Royal Martini which is a coffee martini. Usually coffee martinis are very sweet which I do not prefer but this one was perfect. Strong coffee flavor with a hint of sweet. This will be our spot from now on when we bring visitors to Acadia mountain. THANK YOU!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Service was a bit slow - we would have appreciated water when seated as it was a very hot day. The lobster quesadilla was good but basic, onion rings had a light batter and were very good, the salad was fresh and delicious, the Lob-Acado sandwich was good but a smaller bread would highlight the ingredients better, and the fries were mostly inedible - dry and tough. For efficiency, I would also suggest genderless restrooms as they are one-person-only and just alike.

We unfortunately did not have a great experience here. We ordered a water, iced tea, lobster sliders, and two bowls of clam chowder. Taking our order, the server muttered under her breath and apologized for speaking her inside voice out loud. 😳 No biggie. Then our food arrived. Be warned, the sliders are served cold. Warm would be much better. We received two cups of chowder, not the bowls we ordered. May be just as well since the chowder was very watered down with a film of butter or oil on the top. Server asked if we needed anything else - we said "our drinks." 🙄 We were never offered refills and the lunch cost just over $40. Felt very unwelcomed and like we were a bother. Nothing drawing us back here.

Most horrible service I have ever encountered. We ordered take out for scallop plate and fried shrimp plate both supposed to come with fries and coleslaw. Then the waiter offered that the sides can be changed. But in the end extra prices were added so I asked to take them out and told her that it didnt seem like the sides can be changed. Then we got our order and I checked, one has a coleslaw while the other not. So I asked her why is this so and asked for my coleslaw that supposed to come with the plate. She came back saying, “they must have run out of coleslaw”. I said so they decided to just skip mine? That’s not nice. They didnt make an effort to offer a replacement and simply ignore me. This is unacceptable. If you run out of something, go to your customer politely and ask if you can offer a replacement! NEVER BE BACK AGAIN!

Yikes! We had a terrible lunch. The fried chicken sandwich tasted like a frozen patty and the fries were tasteless as well. The chicken tenders were equally lackluster. Weirdly, the cashier at the check out counter asked for our name and number, but when asked she clarified that they don’t call your name, they just put the food on the counter and you have to keep checking to see if it’s ready. Food took 25 minutes when the place was completely empty at 3pm. Oh, and they “ran out” of forks. The donut was good though.

I would not recommend this place to a friend... we tried to order 6 different drinks at the bar before we found one that they had. They were out of crab. Our table was dirty and instead of cleaning the hostess recommend moving to a different table. I went to the order out window and got the cleaner and rag to clean the ketchup off of our table before we ate. The lobster bisque was creamy and smooth. There were no chunks of lobster in it. The pizza was very good; however, the dough was not cooked all the way through in the middle. This was the first meal on the island we were disappointed with.

The Lobster Bisque was absolutely delicious. The table was slightly sticky. I did see a staff member sanitizing tables in between customers.Overall, this was great.(Employees: If you could make sure that tables aren't sticky after sanitizing, that would be greatly appreciated.)

Stopped here for a quick snack ended up ordering the clam chowder! According to the menu it’s a 45 year old recipe and it was absolutely delicious and packed with pieces of clam! That’s all I had here so can’t say anything about the rest of the menu.Get the clam chowder!

We stumbled across this place while we were driving around Mount Desert Island. Nice, casual place with great local food. We had fish stew, seafood pizza, and halibut sliders. Make sure you stop in the bakery on your way out to get some red velvet donuts to go!

From the outside it doesn't look like there's a full restaurant here, but there is. The lobster melt is nice and buttery, and the clam chowder goes well with it. The bakery is also very nice, the muffin I got was moist and delicious with just the right amount of blueberries.

Nice price, friendly waitresses! I ordered a meal which came with a 1 1/4 pound lobster + soup + dessert, only $25 + tax ! Really good food!I spent the Labor Day long weekend in Maine, and this is the best meal during that travel.

This place makes such good food. Super fresh ingredients made to order. Bar Harbor is so overrated. Come to Northeast Harbor and specifically, this restaurant for mouth watering food and hospitality.

We came here on a whim and we loved it. The bakery sells wonderful items, I have tried the chocolate glazed donut and the Carrot cake. Friends got the blueberry turnover and macaroon, all were well enjoyed!We also hung out at the bar and enjoyed one of each of the apps during happy hour (Nachos, wings, Mozzarella sticks, and onion rings), all were devoured. Solid place to go if you're in the area. Do yourself a favor and get some baked goods even if it's out of your way.

We stopped in for dinner and got here just before the rush. Everything about this place was great. Our server Jaiden was amazing and the food was fantastic. Only thought about taking a picture after I enjoyed everything. Trust me, the fish chowder and lobster roll were delicious. Best part? You can order fresh donuts to go!

The food was amazing and service was quick. I was very pleased with the variety of menu options so that we could have something other than seafood. Highly recommend the autumn turkey club on oat bread. It will not disappoint.

Colonel's was recommended to us when in Northeast Harbor and we can see why. My husband enjoyed a Bloody Mary with breakfast, he has eggs, toast and corned beef hash, I had eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. The meals were delicious. I'm picky with my eggs (hate runny whites) so I order over medium and they were cooked perfectly. The hash was tasty, not to salty. The hash browns were amazing. Crispy, small chucks of potatoes. And the waitress was a doll. 2nd week in the job. All in all phenomenal meal.

This is a great place for any meal in Bar Harbor! I got the fish and chips, but my group got a margherita pizza, scallops, lobster sliders, and some salads. According to them, everything was great! My fish and chips were perfectly fried and tasted great, with the fries also being very good. I also had a bit of pizza, which was good, but my slice had no cheese and was 50% crust. Still, the parts with basil and red sauce were good, but there are some exceptions to its deliciousness.Kid-friendliness: There are chicken tenders, fish and chips, etc. There are also cookies and pastries in the bakery.

Great atmosphere, reasonably priced. We came midday on July 3rd, and had food within 10minutes of sitting down. Lobster sliders were fantastic! Also got the chili nachos and fish stew, both amazing as well! Definitely recommend

Beautiful restaurant in a quiet town. Food selection was amazing. Drinks was very good. Our main dish came out before our appetizer. Simply overlooked. Food was decent. The meat was better than the seafood plates. Everything seemed dry. But, it could be the way it was prepared. The desert area was very good and we picked up a few items. Thank you.

Delicious Chowder and Side of fresh made French Bread for lunch on this rainy day. Portion was huge and rather inexpensive. Nice little spot in the center of Northeast Harbor. No frills, just down to earth good home cooking.

Best pizza around in this area. Stopped here for lunch dine-in after returning from trip to lighthouse. They were out on few items already, but amazing pizzas made up for that.
