My wife and I stumbled upon this inn while driving a commercial truck 3 years ago and were only able to stay for one night. We absolutely fell in love. With the inn, with Bobby and Sherry, and the whole area. So much so, that we have been back a few times since. Mrs Sherry was the ultimate host and Mr Bobby was so indulgent to my wife and I that we couldn't have had a better time each time we've been back. The pond, the town, the Inn!! You couldn't ask for a more Maine experience!! You know next time we come back, we're bringing that Louisiana gumbo with us again!

Absolutely lovely. Sherri + Bobby are the best. The location is spectacular and the old Inn resonates calm, unpretentious charm. Bobby's cooking is nearly as good as his stories and taste in music, which are superb. Can't wait to return to our new, old friends 😍

I also wrote a TA review, it was such a positive experience I had to do a google review. To start the view is AMAZING! Bedrooms are elegant, very conveniently located, they have kayaks and canoes to use, they offer breakfast too. The owners were so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend this place! I could go on and on. Dock overlooking the water. Such an amazing local gem.

Bobby and Sherry make everyone feel like long lost friends. Great breakfasts and even better stories. Comfortable accommodations with attention to details. This was our first stay but we will surely be back.

We chose this place as a very special stop on our honeymoon, so it holds special memories. We've gone back many times over the years...more so before we had kids. We just went back for our 25th anniversary, and enjoyed it every bit as much as we did the first time. Bobby & Sherry are amazing hosts - the accommodations and hospitality are 2nd to none. And the inn itself is just a lovely piece of history, decorated and furnished to create a comfortable, homey atmosphere. Looking forward to many more visits to that very special corner of Maine!

I absolutely loved this place and the owners. There was a slight mix up when I first arrived, but it was handled so well by the owners! The breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning and my room on the third flood was so comfortable! Can't wait to visit again!

A pretty place to stop and bird, this pond is at the top of the Damariscotta Mills Fish Ladder where alewives run in the spring and fall attracting hundreds of birds, including Bald Eagles and Osprey.
