I've always buy my meat here , looks fresher then other places . But I'll find something I like and go back in and they don't have it . I tried to get the Hannaford Brand back in which was chocolate cookies with chocolate filling . Went in and now they don't have them . It happens.

This particular Hannaford was a disappointment. I felt like I was shopping at a dollar store. Dingy, dirty, dusty and over priced.

Fantastic deals WEEKLY. Convenient. Clean restrooms, super friendly and knowledgeable staff.. very clean store.. They offer in store pickup ready to roll.. You can sign up for Hannaford rewards and save a good chunk of money. Who doesn't like incentives to shop and save!!!!

Hannaford is pretty much the best grocery store around. The staff is always polite and professional. It doesn't have that bad energy like that mega store that starts with 'W'

Made a special effort and drove an extra 12 miles to the Newport Hannaford to take advantage of their great fresh seafood counter. I like to make seafood chowder with fresh seafood and every one says I make the best chowder they ever tasted. My secret is plenty of great fish. While there I also found a couple other things I have not been able to get in my smaller local stores. Always worth the extra effort and get what I want.

Excellent, was fairly busy when I stopped around 4pm but got everything I needed quickly and got out. The self checkout is great when you've only got a half dozen small items. Was also well staffed with most of the registers open, I will definitely shop here again.

I ordered 2 lobsters an they started to get them ready i stepped over to grab coffee an he gave them to a someone behind me. I would've grabbed already cooked ones however less then a month ago they gave me FOOD POISON!!! Be careful!! Not to mention that the tank was full of dead lobsters tonight!!

Employees are cordial and helpful but it's pointless if what you want is not in stock. This is the Empty Shelves supermarket. They have discontinued 2 European butters and it looks like they'll be dropping KerryGold soon too, leaving nothing that tastes like butter, and when that goes, so do I. The cream has been gone for weeks. This evaluation applies only to the Newport store; others are well stocked.

Hannaford is a great grocery store. The selection is great always very clean inside. The customer service is a 10 out of ten. Way better than your big box stores. Has a very home town feel to it. They are doing great during this covid-19 outbreak even having way more stuff in stock compared to your big box store up the road.

Sometimes it's crowded, and lately it seems they run out of certain items and can't ever get them back in! It's a good store though! Fresh food quality is very good!

Very clean grocery store with friendly staff. They offer almost all grocery products along with some of the freshest and locally grown produce,deli meats, sea food and bakery products. I highly recommend trying their rotisserie chickens or turkey breast. Absolutely delicious for a quick family meal.

The bagger at the register was so busy talking to her friends that she didn't give me my eggs that I paid for. Didn't find out until I got home 26 miles away. Happy Thanksgiving!

Since the Covid has hit our area I have shopped Hannafords more then anywhere else in town. From there great service to taking sanitary issues seriously for all there customers. Management has been there to help me any time I have issues, questions or comments. I enjoy when they take time out of there day to ask if they can help or how my day is going.
