Last Saturday, I was in need of a zero-turn and decided to visit the store, despite it being busy. Fortunately, the sales representative was incredibly helpful and took the time to discuss my options with me. Her pleasant personality and excellent customer service left a lasting impression on me. In fact, I now travel all the way to Newport from Brewer just to shop at this store. Every time I visit, the sales representative makes me feel valued as a customer. With her assistance, I never feel like I'm being a burden or that I'm being rushed through my purchase. In difficult times like these, it's refreshing to receive such great customer service. For anyone in need of outdoor equipment, I highly recommend Hank's Husqvarna!

Very poor customer service! Paid over $100.00 for mower to be gone over and when returned to me it wouldn't run. Was told it ran fine when it left and that I would need to pay for it to come back in. I’m only writing a review due to an experience I had witnessed recently when I came to buy my new tractor on Tuesday. I was quite amazed by how it was handled. There was a young pretty woman behind the counter and a gentleman came in walked right up to counter despite there was a line of customers put his saw on the counter and said “ great is there a man here that I can talk to about my saw that can fix this thing “ I happened to be the customer she was cashing out , she said she was the only one there but if he gave her a minute she would be able to help him. He quickly darted back I highly doubt it. At this point I was appalled by how he was treating her so I said no go ahead help him. He couldn’t get his saw to run and it was brand new by the sounds of it. She asked him to explain the steps he took to start it. He rudely stated He knew what He was doing but showed her. She took the saw from his hands came around the counter and started that saw like a true woodman. Holding the saw in one hand cranked on it with the other even tho it looked to be a huge saw. He had flooded the saw and she knew that immediately and got it going in few seconds. He asked what he owed her as he was quite embarrassed I’d suspect. She stated “nothing sir, except a little more respect next time you’re in here not just to myself but other customers , just because I'm not a man that doesn’t mean Im not capable. Have a fantastic day “ . It made me realize she probably has that type of situation happen because of her gender/statue more then one would think. Every customer in there spoke up and expressed how impressed they were with how pleasant she was when he was just the opposite. To the young lady there ! You’re top notch! You are doing the place wonders not only with your personality but your knowledge and support of Husqvarna brand!

It's a sale shop, not a repair shop. They can't express that enough because people keep bringing in things to be fixed. But, while they may not do repairs, the person running the store is knowledgeable enough to point you in the right direction of where the problem might be and what to do about it.

I decided I wanted to buy a a DR trimmer as I’ve had good luck with their products in the past. While researching which one I thought would best suit my needs I discovered that Hanks Husquvarna in Newport, ME now handled that brand. I had taken my Husquvarna mower to the shop in Newport for oil change, new blades and a new pull cord. All completed in a timely and professional manner. I dealt with an older, friendly, helpful gentleman when dropping it off and picking it up. I wish I could recall his name. After several back and forth messages with someone on FB messenger I settled on the very expensive self propelled DR model $1265 out the door. When we got it home it worked great for about 30’ and the self propel belt fell off making it very difficult to move. When I questioned whether or not the machine was tested prior to leaving the floor and expressing my frustration at spending so much money and the machine not working properly, I was told I should “ be kind and if I brought it back my first service would be free”. I responded that that was very generous since I’d spent a boatload of money on a machine that I now needed to return to the Carmel store if I wanted it back quicker. A nearly hour round trip for us. Upon taking it to the Carmel store a man came out and immediately began berating me for being upset that the machine didn’t work. I had walked in resigned to the fact that something needed to be adjusted and my previous positive experience led me to believe it would work out. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After being lashed out at needlessly I responded in kind and was then told by Craig that he already had one ex-wife and didn’t need another. Once my guy entered the store he quickly quieted down and said it was a simple adjustment and he’d fix it. That afternoon I received a phone call from Tricia at the Newport that the trimmer was ready for pick up at the Newport store. She said Craig had a delivery nearby and dropped it off to make it a closer drive for me. I instead believe it was because he didn’t want to deal with either of us especially when you see his “adjustment” in the attached picture. I’m not saying his “fix” of tying a knot in the cable hasn’t worked as the machine is currently working well but it is certainly not the work of a professional. I will never step foot in either store or give them one more dollar of my hard earned fixed income money. And any female who does should be warned that he has a malicious degrading attitude towards women. I will also be contacting the manufacturer and inform them of the unprofessional customer service and workmanship. If I could put a zero or a negative number I would gladly do so.

I was able to order a cylinder kit for an older chain saw. The lady, the owner, was on the ball, informed me about a price increase since we last spoke, checked availability, and said it would be there in a few days. 👍

I bought a brand new Husqvarna Zero turn this past month . It is actually my second one I have purchased from Hanks Husqvarna. They have been awesome to deal with . They have exceptional knowledge and prompt service every time I have needed them.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The “man” that was working today was rude to an older gentleman dropping off a chainsaw ahead of my wife and I. We were there to pick up my snowblower after they performed unauthorized work on it. We did not complain. My wife paid the bill in full. The guy was still rude attacking me, then turning his attention to my wife in front of other customers. Not sure what his deal is, but he cost them a customer and my wife kept the $5.00 he threw at her. Not quite enough to cover the damage done, but karma will take care of the rest.

Place is a waste of time. I stopped in to buy a deck belt and told the fella I had a 26 horsepower with 54in deck garden tractor. He said that that wasn't enough information for him to look it up and sell me one. Well guess what. I went home and with less time then it took me to write this, I was able to find it and order it on line. And not to mention his attitude like I was intruding upon him to do his job. And I have spent hundreds of dollars in the store. Not no more your customer service sucks right out loud.

Have brought my chainsaw in twice for it not idling without giving it gas. Both times they have not fixed it correct all they do is adjust the carb. And it will work correct for maybe one hour then will not idle
