The store is clean and has stock but NEVER does anyone offer to help from a worker sitting on the floor putting stock away that you have to reach around to get what you need from shelf to another worker putting screws away and when you ask them they just point and never help you SO. If you do not mind finding things on your own this is the place to go if you want help finding things GO SOMEWERE ELSE

The store manager, Andrew, was truly phenomenal. I noticed they had a product listed as “in stock” on their website but I am not a local to Maine, so I called and explained that I could not find this product anywhere else, they were seriously one of the only ones online that had the item for sale. Andrew quickly went and grabbed the item off the shelf and contacted the post office to ask how much it would be to ship the item, and then called me back to take my payment info over the phone — this was not a service they normally offer, but Andrew was completely happy to help someone out and ship the item to me. Andrew is seriously a rockstar employee and deserves some major praise. I can tell just from the few minutes that I spoke to him that he truly cares about his customers and his store, and wants to make all customers happy. I highly recommend that you shop at this hardware store. Seriously amazing customer service from them. It was a pleasure doing business with them, and if I’m ever in Newport, I will absolutely be stopping by to shake Andrew’s hand and become an in-person customer of theirs. Thank you so so much Andrew! You truly are doing fantastic work there!

I was in the newport location 3 times this afternoon. Purchasing and installing a water filtration unit in my house. I messed up the fitting sizes and measurements a couple times Michelle refunded the parts I bought that were Incorrect while Nick and herself helped me find the correct fittings, even doing a whole lay out of my system on the floor with the same model filter. Awesome customer service.

I repaired my stone chimney with a cement pre-mix bucket about 15lbs & a tube of special concrete caulking, all described ahead of time on internet. Went to the store knowing which isle & shelf had the stuff. I recently needed the cpvc cleaner and Aubochon was cheaper than Tractor Supply or Paris Farm.

My experience at Aubuchon's was nothing less than exceptional. I had a problem with a can of stain that I had purchased. The can was quickly and professionally replaced. The manager followed up to assure that my problem was alleviated.
