Fantastic! Keep in mind this is a farmhouse brewery - both the atmosphere and beers are very much Farmhouse. Not for everyone, but if you enjoy farmhouse style beers, this is a must!!Very small tasting room, but tons of outdoor seating. Gorgeous views and lots to explore outdoors. Dog friendly (but be aware of Dizzy, the brewery cat, in case your dogs are not cat-friendly)!Beers are always spot on. The mixed-fermentation styles are my personal favorite, but if you can, try everything! It’s worth it!

Oxbow offers their selection in a few places, but this was the most charming of all. Large outdoor area with seating, lovely selection of everything from sours to dark ale, a lounge-type area across a cute pond with bee-keeping boxes, and the friendliest staff you'll run into ready to help you where they can.

Stopped in for some brews, and were a bit underwhelmed. The 3 of us each got a different selection, which we shared around a bit. We were not impressed by any of them, and thought they all had some odd taste or after-taste, but could not put our finger on the cause. Overall, one of our least favorite craft breweries.

Fun, open-air style brewery. Felt like a campsite brewery atmosphere. I only wish they'd offer mixed 4 or 6-packs of their canned offerings. Plenty of seating and dog friendly

This is a fun brewery to hang out at. They always have have an exciting variety beers so a flight is recommended! Nice place to sit and relax outside on a nice afternoon, fairly family friendly also if you’re bringing kids along. The people working there are always friendly.

Fun spot to get some great beers! No food available to purchase, but you can bring your own and sit at one of their many picnic tables on the property. They only have 5-6 beers on tap at this location, but you can get a flight of all their offerings. If you are in the area, worth a stop in nice weather!

Best small batch brewery in Maine. Their New Castle location has the true feel - far better than the bustling Portland location. Have yet to stop at the third.

Good sized tap room with tons to do and a really nice patio. Great draft selection but the to go (mostly bottles) were very limited and more expensive then most places.

I enjoyed the beer, the staff was helpful, and the prices are fair. The sours are delicious, and the list of beers in bottles to-go is extensive. I would definitely come again!

There's no more authentic farmhouse brew than Ox Bow in the winter. It got down to -14 during the winter vortex of Dec. 2017.

After many visits to Oxbow, we finally got to meet a resident feline named Dizzy. The picture was snapped a few minutes later, when an empty box proved to be an acceptable place to nap. Another family's pet dog in the area didn't faze him at all.

Great staff that is super friendly. We weren’t fans of the beer, but that shouldn’t stop people... just not our taste. Very simple tasting room, but plenty of space outdoor to sit and spend time.

This brewery has indoor and outdoor seating. They have 34 acres of land with trails. You can take your beer and wonder around. The beer is great and the atmosphere is fabulous. I'll definitely be back!

Set back in the woods, this place has a cozy feel when you walk into the farmhouse tasting room. You will always find friendly people here, from the staff to the locals (mostly farmers and rugged, down-to-earth people). I found some of the beers to be monotone and the prices high, but I don't mind supporting a small business. If you're going to get a growler filled you must have one of their growlers (32 or 64 oz.) per Maine state law.

I visit Oxbow whenever I can. There are always interesting options on draft, and an extensive bottle list to peruse. It's my favorite place to have a beer in a beautiful outdoor setting. So far Bowie is my favorite, but I've never had a beer at Oxbow that I didn't enjoy. Plus the staff are always friendly and accommodating, and there are often great events with live music and good food. What's not to love?

I LOVE their beer. Ton of amazing sours. Their farmhouse ale is a classic. I even like their pilsner, which is usually something I avoid. GET THE SURFCASTING!! It's somewhere between a farmhouse and a gose in an amazing way. If you're in the mood for a stout in the summer the one they have in a bottle for you. I would honestly sit in a concrete bunker drinking this beer by flashlight. It's that good. That said, the location is amazing! Rustic (because it's an old farm) but set in the woods a bit with a small pond. We only used the outdoor space cause the weather was so nice, but they had a pretty spacious indoors with good light.Oh and check out their calendar! Some amazing events for Friday nights in the summer! Beer and oysters, etc

Look, everyone has different tastes and opinions but the low ratings on this spot are absurd. First and most importantly, the beer is delicious. They are filling a much needed niche in an over saturated ipa market. Belgian beers baby. The building is simple and fun in its rustic nature. The woods only add to the great vibe. This is out of the norm, embrace it.

"industrial-chic" venue which is somewhat more unique than the other 5000 such in the US.Beer is great, service was great, pours were small, price is too high.I think tax was not included and it was 12 oz for what amounts to .60 an ounce. I had the robust porter. Once again, Portland has the way of jacking their prices to levels which are unsustainable.EDIT: Rated the wrong one, same idea, anyways.

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception here in June of last year and let me tell you - it was Maine summer backyard perfection. Rebecca and her team did all the set up and clean up for us (with our artistic direction bc my husband and I are both designers), we had an INCREDIBLE open bar with our rental that served well into the wee hours and a little hair of the dog the next morning. A lot of DIY spirit was involved but they were incredibly accommodating and game to help with the vision of the day as well. I had so many of our friends and family say how awe-struck they were with the property and how it really made the event that day. Thank you!
