One of our favorite spots to dine in Maine! We loved the Seagull before the fire and are so happy to be able to return this year and find the restaurant and shop rebuilt even better than before (the dining room is much larger)! We always enjoy eating breakfast while taking in the beautiful views of the lighthouse, the ocean, and the lobster boats. The shop is the quintessential gift shop with something for everyone from toys, to home decor, to made in Maine merchandise. They also have ice cream and snacks with outdoor tables to take in the beautiful view. Definitely worth the stop!

One of the best meals I've had! Credit to the kitchen - Admiral's Pie (bottom of picture), Stuffed Haddock (top of picture), and Mussels were all extremely delicious.Friendly staff and beautiful water views. Fun extensive gift shop too.

Absolutely great breakfast. Large portions and cooked excellent. Our table had Crab Benedict, Lobster omelet, Avacado toast, and Blueberry pancake that was as big as the plate.

We walked in at 515pm with no reservations and we were immediately turned away. When someone else instructed they check with the Wait staff. Their reservations weren't arriving until 7pm and the outdoor seating was also available. They did seat us and I had their Admiral's Pie and clam chowder. my wife had Crabmeat stuffed chicken. The pies are very small portions but delicious. The chowder was good. The stuffed chicken was tasty. They have a great gift shop, plenty of pirate stuff. Nice touch with the orchid flower.

Stopped in for a scramble at the lighthouse and had a delightful cup of coffee and cinnamon bun. Jen was a wonderful waitress. Photos of breakfast and lunch menu added (May 2023).

The Seagull Shop restaurant is exactly what it needs to be. Good food and good service! The location is spectacular with an unobstructed view towards Monhegan island and directly next to Maine's most loved ( voted best) light house. The gift shop is another good reason to drive down. Bring your own alcohol beverage, and you'll be treated to whatever you need to enjoy it!Parking: Plenty adjacent to the building.

I ate here for the fist time 50 years ago when I was 10 and, as it turns out, you can go home again. Some of the friendliest service in Maine (thank you, Colleen!), great food and a spectacular view that simply can't be beat and you'll see why this place is worth a detour. And then there's the gift shop... Stuffed with more Maine paraphernalia than you could ever desire.

We came on a foggy day but the view was still impressive. Gift shop was very cute and also reasonably priced. The food was good and service fine; although we visited after the 'season' really ended. Imagine it could get a bit crowded in middle of summer. Grabbed ice cream on the way out. A neat side trip after attending a wedding in BBH.

Right next to the beautiful Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. It was a last minute decision to check it out. I’m glad we did because it was our best meal during our Maine coastal trip.

Pemaquid Lighthouse is amazing...and this restaurant is right beside it with amazing food! There are picnic tables all around the park facing the ocean where you can eat or venture out on the rocky coast to enjoy the most relaxing experience!! Very friendly and great food!!

It was a little expensive (for me) but the food was delicious, the service was notably friendly and kind and funny, the view was beyond gorgeous, and the atmosphere was SO much fun (Hurricane Phillipe had just passed through and whenever a particularly spectacular wave crashed, a general cheer went up from the dining room - both patrons and workers).

We enjoy shopping the wide variety of items available in the gift shop. You can eat inside at a table with an Ocean veiw. They serve Breakfast and lunch, You can eat outside at a picnic table. We enjoying walking on the rock ledges and seeing the Seagulls and ducks. Always a fun time at this shop which is located next to Pemaquid Lighthouse.

Iconic coastal Maine. We spent a bit on lunch ($20+ /person, lobster roll was tasty) and enjoyed a delightful view of the ocean. Afterwards we walked along the water, the weathered Rocky coastline was beautiful.

By far my favorite restaurant in the area. The food was delicious! The kitchen did not miss a beat.Service was good, but could be a little faster and definitely more attentive. Great view if you’re seated by a window.Nice live music. The gift shop is fun to look around, but pricey.

It's open again and better than ever they kind of kept the same layout and Design but with a little more room. I am so glad they rebuilt it after the fire. Restaurant area is a little bigger.

The service is slow so don't expect to eat quickly and run. We love this place and always make a point of coming for breakfast. The blueberry pancakes and pancakes are just not what they used to be 😦 but lots of other choices. Lobster and crab omelet is delicious. We love to browse in the gift shop, lots of neat things.

The food is pretty good. We tried lunch and dinner. It's got a nice view at the end of the Pemiquid Point. The prices are on the higher side for casual dining but the location certainly has something to do with that. The portions are not large. This is a BYOB restaurant.Vegetarian options: They have some salads and an impossible burger.Parking: The parking lot is unpaved and in mid August there were some pretty good size holes filled with water.

When we come to visit this is one of the place our family loves to go to. Best blueberry pancakes hands down. The rest of their food is awesome too.

My sesame seed crusted Tuna was about 6 oz, salad was fresh, great fries perfectly done, Wasabi just right! I sent a clean plateto be washed! Plenty of choices on the menu for all guests, Window tables had two binoculars available (very nice touch). Lighthouse next door has a museum and a lot of history to learn.

Wonderful friendly place to stop for lunch. It was busy, but waitstaff was so pleasant. Got a fried fish sandwich which was a whole fish (without the head) OMG! A gift shop is attached to the restaurant. The Pemaquid Point lighthouse is next to the restaurant.Well worth the visit.

Beautiful etting but food is just OK and overpriced. Calamari was good but worst fish and chips ever. 5 fish "bites" for $22? Probably frozen and fries were not very good either. Very disappointed but it was close and we were on our way out after camping for the week nearby.Parking: Rutted enough to damage a regular car. Not everyone has a truck!

This place is a tourist trap and has all the crappiness of it. Even without the horrible service, the food was mediocre at best and waaayyyy over priced. Also we ordered at the counter and went to sit outside, it was a bit chilly so we asked to be seated at in the dining room (which had PLENTY of space) they told us they couldn’t because we ordered at the counter... umm what?!What we ate:Shared a lobster roll which comes with potato chips and a pickle $20A cup of lobster stew $7A cup of clam chowder $7Can if soda and a bottle of water $2.50 eachThe soups: Chowder was mediocre and the lobster stew was awful. Pretty much just warm milk and butter with a few pieces of lobster in it and absolutely zero spicing to it. The lobster roll wasn’t bad, lobster was fresh, but we asked to substitute the potato chips for fries and unfortunately we did not realized this until we left, but they charged us for a side of fries (which was $7) and just left the potato chips out. This place is a nightmare and definitely needs some better management in customer experience.
