We came for the apple cider donuts and we were not disappointed. The donuts were made almost to the order, very fresh, still warm when we got them. The donuts were delicious!They sell other baked good as well as coffee, honey and jam. Obviously they have apples that you can pick yourself too.

We had such a fun time here! We rode a tractor, ate fresh blueberries, learned about Apple trees and listened to live music. It was an unforgettable experience. All the workers were extremely nice and knowledgeable. We love this place and can't wait to come back during fall!

Here’s an honest review.I base a lot of my decisions off google ratings and it’s only fair to share the good and the bad. The bottom line: I don’t think we’ll be back here in the future for Apple picking.The good: plenty of parking on the street, tasty homemade donuts and cider, open fields of Apple trees. The not so good: the whole checkout process (we stood in line for 45 minutes), the mapping of which trees are where, customer service.They only had two registers going for a busy Saturday. It had nothing to do with Covid protocols, they were indoors. When we visited other apple orchards, they had OUTSIDE tents with 4-5 registers going at a time, they had parking attendants helping you park, they had support personnel in the fields helping find particular trees and transporting elderly. I hate leaving a non stellar review, especially when it’s a family ran business, but it just wasn’t the best experience.PS: we don’t have kiddos so I didn’t comment on any kid friendly activities

Coming from a state that has many apple orchards, Thompson’s has the BEST hot apple cider. The flavor and aroma were incredible. We bought half dozen doughnuts as well.

So glad we found this place! Tree after tree full of delicious apples. We came mid-Sept and picked a variety weighing 13lbs, at just over a buck per pound! They also have donuts, cider, muffins & coffee, so you can lounge in rocking chairs on the patio while you enjoy your goodies :)

Mike's Orchards are beautiful, and they have the best apples. He's also done wonderful things in the community. Do yourself a favor go check out the stand, buy some handmade crafts, baked goods, cider, and those donuts 🍩

Awesome place to visit, pick some apples and just enjoy the experience. The folks working there are super friendly and helpful, we will be back throughout the rest of our stay in Maine and will definitely stock up before heading home to Texas!

I had never been Apple picking before my visit and lo, what an amazing and new experience. They'll give you a bag and you can wander all over the orchard and pick the apples of your fancy. The different kinds of Apple trees are labeled so it's easy to find the ones you want. Then when you're done, they weigh them in the shop and you pay for what you pick. Also offered: hot coffee, donuts, pastries, Apple cider and, furniture

Nee Gloucester is very lucky to have this orchard in our town! My favorite thing to get is the Donuts, but all of their baked goods are delicious. And of course, the apples are great too!

It was awesome as usual. The smell of apple donuts and apple dumplings filled the air. Apple cider could be smelled. The apples on the tree were beautiful and easy to access. Macs, Cortland, Red Cortland, and Honey Crisps were plentiful. You could pick your own or buy them already picked. A fun day was had by our whole group (10).

This place is our favorite apple orchard. We’re lucky enough to live close by, and we’ve been coming since we were kids. They truly do have the best apple cider I’ve ever tried, as well as homemade bread and donuts daily that are unbeatable. The staff is always friendly, the owner is always there checking in on customers and working hard to make sure they’re happy, and they’ve even started to incorporate other events like family movies, live music, and sunrise yoga. This place is sure to be a good experience for you and your family

Had such a wonderful time at this orchard today! First time my fiancé and I visited and it won't be the last. They were pretty busy but it seems being in business since 1906 they've mastered their systems well. We both picked about 30 dollars of apples, and honestly the quality just can't be beat. Trees were full of fruit, you could from row to row and have your pick. There was plenty of room for everyone and we just were so delighted to have a day date at such an amazing place. I cannot wait to make hand pies and other treats with these apples. They looked great when we were picking and based from the few I snacked on during the ride home, I think we're in for a good time.Oh and don't leave without trying an apple donut! They make them fresh so you might have to wait but they are so worth it! We are really excited to try their cider too. I noticed they're open until Christmas so we may have to make a return trip then.

Love it!! My family and I have been coming here for years. They have a great variety of apple to pick from. The store is always filled with lots of delicious treats. The homemade donuts are one of my family favorite treats. Love the folks that own it and work here..they all go above and beyond to make the experience so wonderful!!

Went apple picking here with my family and it was a beautiful experience. The staff was small but kind and the apples were beautiful and well treated! A place where trees are raised properly and well cared for.Walking around was like walking on clouds and the trees were healthy as can be! Mostly untouched by people but worth the trip.Ratings!Staff: Small but awesome 15/10Trees: 100/10Shop: 9/10 [just a little small for how many people crowd in there]Pricing $$A request to anyone reading this. Please don't leave trash in the field as it's not good for the place.

Great local apple farm. Late in the season so had to walk way back to the back of the field for apples. We arrived when there was live music and a craft fair. Find all the great apple picking stuff you are looking for and have a great time!

Apple donuts to die for. Dropped in late on a Wednesday morning and they'd just sold out of all donuts. We're from Ohio and were really looking forward to the New England apple donuts so we were bummed. BUT Mike made some fresh for us and we ate them warm! So good. Lovely shop inside as well. We'll definitely make our way back if we find ourselves on the east coast again.

Love this orchard! We've been going there for years and in addition to their apples, their donuts are incredible (as many others would attest)! They also have several local products for sale inside - honey from a local beekeeper - maple syrup, jellies to somewhere all from local small businesses!
