We went for the udderly amazing experience, which included hand milking a cow. We didn't get to milk the cow, but the tour and interaction with the cows were outstanding. The employees were very knowledgeable and made for a pleasant experience. I am a little bummed about not being about to milk a cow (was told the cow was not cooperating, and I do not want to try milking an uncooperative cow), still worth a 5 star rating

We were visiting my wife's family. They invited us to the farm with our great nieces and nephews. We stopped first at the flower farm, where we picked some beautiful flowers. My favorites were the multi-colored sunflowers. From there we went to the corn maze. To my surprise we solved it rather quickly. Still it was a lot of fun. From there we went to the market store and had lunch. It's a deli where you can get freshly made sandwiches. It was all very nice, and everyone had a great time.

This is located on a campus. The grounds are nice, and the farm located at the bottom of the campus was beautiful. The disc golf course is pretty well maintained and nice. I favored the Minuteman course. I noticed the market where you get food had great reviews. I was not impressed at the service or the food quality. The shop itself offered nice stuff.

Good for kids!Love Pineland Farms for the all-season activities (trail running? Mtn biking? Cross country skiing? Check. Check. Check!) and the marketplace and cafe. This was our first visit with a toddler, and we explored the Farmyard. A few thoughts:(i) We went on a rainy Sunday and as long as you are willing to brave the elements (a little bit) this is an awesome rainy day activity for a busy toddler (I can only imagine how much better it is on a sunny day!).(ii) The cow and dairy barns are short walks from one another, and easy to navigate with a little. Our two year old had a lot of fun exploring the heifer barn in particular. All would be easy enough to access with a stroller or wagon, too.(iii) A short drive (or walk, if you’re up to it) is the chicken house, barnyard and outdoor play zone. All with good coverage if you need a break from weather - or, if your kid wants to dive right into the mud, there is outdoor play space, too.(iv) It is a working barnyard, and our little had a lot of fun getting to see professionals at work in the dairy barn, feeding the cows, cleaning up, etc. as well as the tractors at work(v) Absolutely fun way to spend a few hours, the cost is low, and we stopped by the marketplace for farm/bakery fresh treats on the way out.

Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and cup of haddock chowder. Chicken sandwiches had to flavor, no seasoning. Haddock chowder had a fishy smell and wasn’t very good.Cool place, cool concept but the food needs some Work.

If you are looking for classic Maine, rural, farm views, bring your camera. Rolling hills, white fences, white barns and cows grazing will provide you with plenty to photograph. Families will benefit from the educational programs. Our grandchildren have milked cows, made applesauce, walked the story walk and explored the Fall corn maze. The market offers fresh, locally-sourced products and delicious sandwiches. Yes, you will need to check your order, as others have said. I don't know if it is the volume of orders that overwhelms or if they are using their employment practices to help give people a hand up at learning job skills but our special orders have often been tad off. I'll eat most everything that isn't moving so I've never had a problem but my finicky grandchildren are a different story. No, the market is not Walmart and you will not find "blue light specials" in aisle 5, but you will find Maine products at comparable prices to other specialty locations.Fall colors are simply breathtaking. Do not miss the immaculately-manicured gardens if you are a landscaping, flower, plant enthusiast. We have not been in the winter. Winter people tell me it's wonderful. We are not winter people. We tend to hide in the winter months wondering, "why do we choose to live here?"

We went for a Homeschool Group field trip to learn about cider making. I havent been there for a long time. It is absolutely breathtaking. So many different buildings and places to see. All very clean and well kept. It honestly looks like pictures from a postcard. Old brick buildings, huge beautiful barns with animals, pastures, orchards, vegetable feilds and even houses set back in the woods with ponds. Picture perfect. The white fencing everywhere makes it all come together. Also, the employees at the market are so friendly and nice!! The market commons/deli makes very delicious sandwiches as well as other food. I highly recommend going for a visit. Ill definitely be back for pictures this fall and to grab the items only farmers markets carry.

This was an awesome find and we just stumbled upon it heading to the wildlife park. The Marketplace store/restaurant is awesome. Lots of fresh choices and everything is prepared from items produced on the farm. Make sure you visit the farm and see the dairy, calf’s, animal farm, and horse arena. It was a learning experience and I just loved it.

Food is excellent! Had lunch at the Marketplace several times and the sandwiches and soups have been top notch. The produce looks like it was picked that day. Took a chance on a frozen steak for the grill. Though expensive, it turned out to be well worth the price. Best steak of the summer! Nice gift shop with a lot of local items including wine. While you're there visit the flower gardens just on the other side of the highway. Look for the white garden fence. We stop every time as the flowers are always at a different stage as the summer progresses.

Really cool farm with many things to do. Fun little corn maze, working animal farm with many buildings to explore and grounds to visit. It's also in a weird complex with a nice market, a beer garden, disk golf, I think a college, and some other random stuff. A weird hodge podge but kind of something for everyone. Could easily spend a few hours there and not get board.

Pineland is our happy place with much to offer. There are endless trails for hiking or skiing depending on the season. We love corn maze in the fall and the farm animals for the young one. I don't disk golf much anymore but I hear the courses are world class (verified by U-Disk). We always finish with lunch at the market. They also have an awesome collection of local meet, cheese, produce, sauce and spices.

Great farm for visiting with little ones. Lots of farm animals available to be seen and learn about with your little ones. Plenty of walking to use all of their energy. Lots of trails go get a good workout, too. Corn maze during summer is very entertaining. There is a cafeteria and market at the entrance we’re you can refuel or bring some fresh items to your home.

On this particular visit, we hiked and picnicked. Always a lovely place to go and it was fun to eat the Dads fishing with their small children at the pond by the gazebo.

Excellent property with stunning landscape. The tour guide was wonderful lady whom explained the business and history clearly. Enjoyed the dairy barn + watching the cheese making process with free delicious samples. Our tour group of 50+ enjoyed Pineland Farms Market specialty items for lunch, soups sandwiches and shopping.

Took advantage of a sunny winter Sunday to go to Pineland for some snowshoeing. It is easy to park at the welcome center, rent equipment and get passes, and hit the trails. They have a good volume and variety of equipment for rent so you can try a new sport if you would like! Their website gives daily trail condition reports so you know what to expect. It's great to have a tea and snack at the welcome center café after a day outside.

We went there for the corn maze and the store. None of the 4 of us had done a corn maze before. Not sure I'd have enjoyed it much if the weather had been horrible. But the weather was fine and we had a lovely time.
