In a world full of big box stores places like this are a welcome return to simpler times. Sure they don’t carry every variation of the Oreo cookies, but do we really need strawberry centered Oreos? They carry everything I need to fill the kitchen cupboards for a week.The staff is friendly and helpful. Sure prices are probably a bit higher than a big box supermarket but I save time shopping here and that is worth it to me.

Can't say enough how nice staff and especially the owner are!! Stopped in to stock up on a trip from NY. I had a special question and the owner accommodated me in the most sincere way possible. And they have lots of stuff, things I didn't need and bought anyway. We are going to stock up before we head back to NY!!!!! If there were 100 stars, they would get 100 stars!!! Oh and the first time we went as 2 people, didn't need 2 carts, but we took 2 carts with no argument. Just have to do what you can and respect businesses decisions in these hard times people!!

We go to the umbrella factory while on vacation every year in Denmark Maine.The store is perfect for what we are looking for. Good quality meats, good selection on produce, and fair overall on price. They even have some good specials. The staff where also very friendly. We will be back

It's good to pick up a few things in a pinch. It doesn't have everything you'll want, but it does the job. It's a little more expensive. I believe this is given the location and convenience. They have a great selection of beer and snacks. Produce lacks, but plenty of grilling options. Come here if you are in need of a small grocery trip

Serves a purpose. Cashiers are nice, but check your meats before you buy them. The owners are tightwads (so the employees said) and will sell you old, rotten, expired meat and fish if you don't watch out. I lived in Casco/Naples for years and it's always been the same. I actually took meat with black stuff on it off tge shelf before and handed it to the deli workers to throw out. They have old produce, too. Sorry to say upon revisiting, not much has changed there. Just the workers, and you can tell they are not happy employees. Guessing they just work there because it's convenient. All the employees I knew there are GONE. They could do better. They just don't. They are convenient so they don't care about quality/freshness.

Updated review: Still a great grocery store. Yes, it has narrow shelves. Yes it's small, but their shelves are stocked with everything you need. Plus, the cashiers are very friendly.Updated review: Still a great grocery store. Realized I needed a few things for Thanksgiving and was happy I could run in and out without having to deal with the amount of people in a large store.Small location, small spaces in between the aisles, but has all the groceries you will need. Very kind staff members.

Always a fabulous place to shop in a small town. Prices are slightly higher but the convenience of not traveling 10 miles is worth it. The meat department is outstanding.

Great meats, prepared foods, and pizza! Nice selection and best beer and liquor selection around. Miss the ice cream counter in the back though.UPDATE 05/27/22 - Still a great spot to get groceries, snacks, meats, red dogs, and booze. The ice cream counter is still missed and the Stallion pizza has been closed for months. We love that pizza so I hope they start it up again soon! And bring back the beer and slice deal that was the best!

Its better than hannafords but that doesn't say a ton. They carry a lot of hannaford products, so I am unsure of the partnership or affiliation. Staff was super nice, and they have most anything you may need from the store just maybe not the brand you're looking for

Most always crowded, limited space in aisles etc. Cramped. People are awesome though. I absolutely love Fran, the manager, she is so friendly and just a very lovely person.

What a great small unique grocery store!!!! the fresh ground hamburg is always great ,the local sweet corn was awesome the staff is friendly and very help full the produce is fresh ,I would highly recommend shopping here .

I enjoy this store, it is unique ,many different thing's to look at. Prices are fair. My favorite part, is the t-shirts. I can't wait to go see all the Maine themed shirts and sweat shirts. Good prices on them is a bonus. Worth a visit.

I understand that rules are set in place for covid and I appreciate this store trying to keep the store safe, but my issue is having to use separate shopping carts for each person in my family when we shop here. I’m pregnant, have a 12 year old daughter, and my husband and I all have to use separate carts to go shopping, this store is tiny so having their customers going around with multiple carts is kind of ridiculous. They say it’s to keep count of each person inside, but honestly you can just get a clicker so it doesn’t make it so annoying to shop. Staff is nice just this one issue has made me choose another grocery store. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Great community supermarket that has everything including a deli, market, bakery goods , and a package store for alcohol. You can do all your shopping in one place. They even have a pizza shop with good pizza. Lake living at it's finest. Friendly staff, fair pricing. Small footprint of a store too.

Good place to go for a few things, I feel like it's a bit more expensive than other markets but they do have a great selection of bulk bacon, so that's a plus.
