Loved this place! Call of the Loons in the early morning and late at night, hauntingly beautiful. The Cabin we stayed in has a front porch to sit on and enjoy coffee in the morning or in the evening just sit and watch the sunsets. Full, kitchen no need to pack your own. Bathroom well done, shower only. It had a full bedroom and a walk through bunk room, a futon for an extra guest if needed. They had a fire pit with four chairs and a gas grill for cooking outside. The personnel there were fantastic. Very helpful and delivered upon request your food from the cafe or wood for the fire pit. They had a small store but few items. This area is dog friendly, but you have to check and see if the area you are renting allows for dogs, as not all were. The beach front was packed on the days you could go swimming. Fishing was allowed on designated areas. Friendly family oriented.Nearby activities: The town of Naples was very close and pretty much close to a wide variety of sporting activities. They had canoes, and kayaks for rent. They had a field area to play horseshoes and other activities, also had a childrens area for the little ones to play at.Walkability: It's walkable, but be aware it is a stone and dirt area, good slow signs 5 MPH, we walked a lot. But if you have mobility issues be understanding it's a camp ground.Food & drinks: Food and drinks available from the Cafe. Their fried mushrooms were fantastic as was their pizza, very good food for a camp ground.

We have camped at Loon Haven about 4 times now and it's such a beautiful location. The restrooms and showers are super clean. This time we rented one of the new park models and they are beautiful. There were a couple of glitches but these cabins are brand new and our issues were addressed promptly. All of the staff are so courteous and accommodating. Being so close to the lake is a big plus and the sunsets are amazing. We were treated very well here. We love this campground. It's very hard to find a campground where the staff is so helpful and accommodating and the campground so well kept. They run a nice operation here. We will be returning next month.

My family and I stayed in both the new Jewett Cabin and also in the “Glamper.”This was our first stay at Loons Haven Family Campground and we already can’t wait to go back next year. It is so family friendly, safe, and fun.We used the bathroom and shower facilities while staying in the glamper and they were clean and very well kept up.The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and so very patient with our kiddos constantly in and out of the candy store.10/10 would recommend for a family or friend trip!!!

A great campground, and a truly beautiful location. We had an extra wide lakefront site, and the view from our site, and most of our windows was just amazing. The bathrooms were super clean, and the campground itself showed signs of being really well taken care of. The only negative experience was the seasonal campers almost directly across from us had large gatherings on Friday and Saturday night they were very loud well after dark. Otherwise one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at in sometime.

Cute little cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was updated and decorated nicely. Rooms were a little smaller than what appeared online, but it all worked out. There were a couple little details that I noticed that I would want: hooks to hang your bath towel on to dry. We had a harder time finding places to hang them. The grill cover needs to be replaced. We didn’t want the owners to think we ripped it up. Still rate this 5 out of 5. Great place to spend time away at.

This camp site is 99% yr round RV renters and seasonal owners. We were highly disappointed. We were there July 1st till 5th and they had NOTHING planned for kids. But plenty of things to do for the seasonal owners, whom were drunk and very loud nighty! With, game night, and karaoke night. They say there is a 10pm noise curfew but let me tell you, nobody enforced that! It was loud until midnight, nightly, then they had plenty to say about my grandchildren cutting through the woods in-between Rv owners, whom made complaints to the office. We also had an owner try to boss my daughter around at the game room. The owners need to be reminded that they don't own the park and to be more friendly with tent occupants. Will never go there again

One of the best campgrounds. We are from Pa and wanted to do a Maine trip. Knowing absolutely nothing about Maine other than a bit of research we blindly picked this based off pictures and reviews. The best choice I made. Clean, comfortable, family-oriented, and friendly. The amenities were great as they deliver to your campsite and an on-site laundry mat(Which we did not use but awesome they have one) The owners are so nice and everyoneIs respectful. If you are looking for a family campground this is it. The area, Naples, itself is small and quaint but not far from the coast or Windham which is a bigger town. We loved it so much we booked for next year already.

The campground was very clean. The staff and campers were friendly and helpful. Tricky pond was crystal clear and beach was always clean. We had a 30 ft camper. The site was a little narrow than we were used to, but was fine. Not a resort style campground, which was fine since days at the lake and nearby attractions were relaxing and really great! Highly recommend Loon’s Haven family campground

Great people running this campground and it is situated on a beautiful spot. I wish the sites were a little bigger, more plentiful and more private. Also, a rec hall with with ping pong and such would be a nice addition. Lots of improvements happening here though so, stay tuned. Beaches are great and we had a fabulous time!

Amazing campground. Quite and peaceful. We booked Aug 2020. Right on the water. Water so clear see bottom, warm. Loons all over the lake. People were friendly. It was Halloween weekend so much fun. Couldn't have been any better. Weather was nice. Other campers were respectful, that big in my book. Can't wait to return. It was our 50th wedding anniversary.

We had two waterfront sites. One for our rpod trailer and my daughter and her family’s pop up! The water, the loons, are amazing! We also rented a boat slip and got to see the beauty of trickey pond. Already booked again for next year but also got a glamping tent this time! This place has it all without the noise and disturbance! Very serene. People are very considerate of quiet time!

Our first camp ground experience with our first camper. The camp ground was very impressive to us.Mike and Billie and Chloe and others were extremely helpful to us. Very friendly and showed us the camping experience. Even helping us to park our 5th wheel at our Lake front camp site. All of them could not have been kinder. The camp ground itself is very peaceful and very well maintained. The bathrooms and showers are comfortable and clean. They even shared with us where to go and see great sites, and local shopping for supplies and local eateries.Highly recommended!!!

Stayed on waterfront campsite with 34 foot trailer. Our fire ring was 2 feet away from the water's edge. We watched and enjoyed dancing, diving, swimming, flying loons and loved their calls everyday and night. So, the owner correctly name the place because it is really a loon's haven. They pick trash up from your site daily. That was nice. No sewer hook-ups at waterfront sites. Honey Wagon service is 3X the price than any other campground. The lake is clear and they have clean facilities as well as nice beach and quiet campsite except weekends. Every weekend seasonal campers return to party, rost a hog and make lot's of noise. They played games, screamed, talked, listened music very loudly well beyond quiet hours every single weekend without no one ever interrupting their joy at the expense of others. This was really the only downside of our stay. We did not care cafe food that was below average fast food. We gave 5 stars because of waterfront location, lake, loons, beach and clean showers and restrooms. However, these facilities are due for upgrading especially the shower rooms. We will go back again hoping the weekends can be less noisy.

Clean campground. Big spots. Not much privacy but worth it because of the access to water. Playground is awesome. One thing that would make it perfect is a small fenced in area for dogs to play off leash.

I'm here right now raw sewage is pouring from camp sites the whole place smells like human waste. We were here last year and it was nice this year it's absolutely disgusting.

Beautiful area and a beautiful site, rented off Airbnb. The Airbnb can be a bit deceiving making you think it’s secluded when it’s really wedged between two campsites. The first day we had a great time by the water and having a fire. The second day, kids were running around our campsite which we paid 500+ for 2 nights 3 “days” and touching our tent and putting their kayaks in right in on our campsite while we were trying to relax. I understand this is out of the owners control, but, please be a bit more honest with your Airbnb description, a lot of money for a young couple to be dealing with kids who aren’t ours who we don’t know running around our campsite touching our car and tent even after asking them to stop coming onto our campsite. We actually had to make a wall out of our chairs and beach tubes and park our car extremely close to our tent to keep them away from our site even after asking them to stop. Unfriendly seasonal people being weird asking us what our campsite was, which made us very uncomfortable. The Airbnb also defines WiFi, which doesn’t even reach the tent, paid for the extra and it didn’t help at all because it doesn’t reach. Good family campground, bad for couples. I’m also glad we brought our own grill utensils because the ones left were still dirty from the people who were here before. Likely won’t come back.

This is my opinion and should be taken as suchWhere to begin with all the greatness of this campground. Let's start with staff Billie at the front desk, ROCKSTAR... Heidi, whom I believe is a work camper who does all the social networks ....ROCKSTAR.. The dude who rakes the beach in the morning every morning,ROCKSTAR... We unfortunately were forced to head home early due to an impending Hurricaine. But we enjoyed our 2 and a half day stay. The pond is pretty large, just be sure to have your life jackets if you head out on a boat... The sites were good size. And the people we met were awesome as well. We booked again for next year.

It is a strong campground for small kids. The lake is of the greatest quality. The fishing is excellent. The lake has salmon, brook trout, small mouth and large mouth bass. There are lots of nature's creatures as well. The creatures are loons eagles, marsh hawks, a black bear on occasion and a fox. Come and have a very restful time and enjoy the activities.

Great family oriented campground. Waterfront lots, wooded, shaded lots, friendly staff. A few seasonal sites need better upkeep, but I think the owners are working with those residents.Playground: Lots of renovations, pirate ship, basketball and pickleball courtsRestrooms: Clean camp toilets, hot showersDog-friendliness: Walking area, keep on a leash...doggie stations with small bags for waste and trash cansPicnic area: Common areas are clean, well maintained
