I cannot say enough positive things about Barefoot Goldens! Kristina was very responsive about our application quickly and kept us updated about the puppies on a weekly basis throughout the whole process. Kristina invited us all to the puppy party where we met all the pups. While talking and meeting Kristina, you could tell how much she took great care for her pups - and truly loved them! Our puppy, Finn, has been a blessing. We cannot imagine our lives without him now. I cannot recommend Kristina enough!

I was referred to Barefoot Goldens and it’s breeder Kristina by my cousin in York, Maine who has a beautiful 6 year old Golden named Lily that came from Barefoot. Lily is a total sweetheart. Last January I went to a great puppy party at Barefoot and fell in love with my new adorable Golden girl named Kerry. Kerry is not only absolutely beautiful (daughter of champion Teak) but very smart, intuitive and most importantly, healthy. She’s met most of my family and we all love her. I look forward to seeing her every morning and spending as much time with her as possible. Thank you Kristina for giving me such a wonderful happy new puppy that I’m so proud of. We picked up our Theo in August 2022. He is extremely mellow, friendly, and smart. Since day one, he has had the most beautiful coat of any golden puppy! He is a fan favorite at our local dog bar, Skiptown, in Charlotte NC! Everyone we run into on our walks asks us where we found our handsome boy, and I’m always happy to point them towards Barefoot Goldens. He loves our whole family equally, LOVES little kiddos that he meets, and is naturally such an easy going little guy! We absolutely adore him 😍 Kristina was wonderful to work with, she picked him out for us as we were coming from out of state. She also gave us many ‘pupdates’ throughout the process, which I looked forward to every week!

We have had a really wonderful experience with Kristina and Barefoot Goldens over the last few years. Our first Golden, Cady, is coming up on 3 years old and now we are raising her puppy Breezy who is 3 months old. Both have been exceptional beauties with brains and good humor. Their littermates were also exceptional. Kristina chooses the best breeding pairs to produce dogs who reflect the breed standard and raises them to be great additions to any household.In addition, she is a great communicator who is totally available for advice. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog!

I got my puppy from Barefoot Goldens and couldn’t be more happy!!! Kristina couldn’t have been more thorough and informative throughout the entire process. She kept me up to date on every move that was made, sent pictures and videos and answered all questions I had (which was a lot). She truly understands the business, but more importantly the bundle of nerves and questions that new puppy parents may have. My husband and I had the BEST experience working with Kristina in order to bring home our boy Rollie! We were on a wait list for a little over a year but Kristina was keeping us up to date every step of the way. We finally received the long awaited call in September of 2021 that one of her females was having a litter of 12 puppies and one had our name on it! We were completely over the moon. From that point on, Kristina sent out weekly updates through emails giving us the latest news with the puppies and making sure to always include some pictures and videos for us to see. It was very reassuring knowing how much time, effort and love Kristina put into raising her dogs, passing health clearances and making sure the dogs were ready to be placed into there new homes. There was never a doubt in our mind that we wouldn’t be bringing home an amazing puppy. Kristina also always made us feel as though we could reach out to her for any reason which was and still is so important to us especially being first time golden retriever parents. We couldn’t be more happy with our now 6 month old boy and I am already trying to convince my husband we need another one!!!

Each week, she sends photos and videos with an update of the puppies while also sending information to educate each family in preparation for taking their puppy home. We had a great experience with Kristina. She was professional and thorough, and kept us up to date with weekly emails and photos as our puppy grew. We were very cautious looking at breeders as we wanted to be sure we found one who truly had the best interest of the dogs at heart. It was important to me that our breeder had all the health screenings done appropriately and that the dogs were well-socialized from birth. Bo is now a year old and we have not been disappointed. He is gorgeous, sweet, and full of fun. Barefoot Goldens gave us the dog we were hoping for!

I am so happy with my golden retriever from Barefoot Goldens. Kristina has kept me informed every step of the way since Leo was born. She continually sent videos , health updates and pictures. The puppy party at 6 weeks I went to was the happiest day of my life when I got to meet and choose my beautiful puppy. When he was 8 weeks old I got to pick him up and my family are totally in love with this handsome, smart, healthy and adorable dog!
