I would have rated 0.. Get soke workers that can actually speak emglish idc if they own the store or not. Get them out or half the town till be out and ur 4.4 rating will drop too below 4.0 ill make sure if that if nothing changes. Also all. food is over priced and over proportionated. Just a head up, all sandwiches are soggy, either hot or cold. and they dont add enough toppings to the pizza. I understand equity and income/outcome from a sales perspective as a manager in food service and this place REALLY needs help.

An honest-to-goodness real general store! Very good hot coffee, fresh baked (on the premises) goodies, all of what you'd expect to find in a "convenience" store and SO much more! Can't imagine Monmouth without them!

Nice mom and pop store. Was in Monmouth to do some work for a friend and stopped in for a drink and snack. Their muffins were the best I have had. People were friendly and attentive. I recommend stopping by if your in the area and in need of food and drink.

Excellent food, and plenty of anything you could possibly need! They have a great menu with lots of yummy choices, and have delicious daily specials as well as a nice little meat case with deli options. Plenty of cold beer as well as a decent soft drink selection and a dozen or so hot coffee options. Try the pizza!

Update 10/9/21- went in to place an order and return some bottles. Stood there for 5 minutes being looked at by the staff. No one said a word. After 2 people cut ahead of me and eventually were helped at the register I left. If you were wondering Kwik shop is no better. Just go to Winthrop.Food is decent if it's made right and your order is taken correctly. Their help seems to be hit or miss. Either that or they are not trained and just get thrown into the mix of things. My last experience here I ordered an italian, with a few specific things on it. I picked it up only to find that it was loaded (I could see it through the wrapper). I told them it was incorrect and not what I had asked for. They took it back, picked the toppings off, and re-wrapped the sandwhich. I wasn't too happy but it was quarter of 8 so I paid and went home. Upon opening it, toppings I had not wanted were left on the sandwhich and some of what I had asked for was not there. I returned the sandwhich only to have them laugh while apologizing for the mistake. This is quite disrespectful and a bad image for the business. It was 8 o'clock now and everywhere else in town was closed. They have lost my business. I have had multiple other orders messed up or burnt. Unfortunate because they have pretty large servings for the price, but enough is enough.

They stock so much stuff you didn't know you wanted, it sets them apart from the other convenience stores in the area. Everything from food and drink, fuses, and fishing gear. Their food is always good, I've been ordering from here for years.

Be careful the way their point of sale was set up is intended to rob you they will tax ebt lack transparency on receipts purposefully not good must watch cashiers owner refuses to fix because its not a mistake its intentional how many times is it still a mistake when i get robbed for the same reason over and over it s not just ebt it is every transaction type due to the way point of sale was put together, i reported ebt theft to usda employees have been treating me badly since

Unfriendly to unfamiliar patrons. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. It's cluttered, dark and dingy. The food is over priced for the amount that is received. I give this ancient dive two thumbs down.

This place is in a small town, rual area of Maine. The store is a store. You go in, buy stuff and leave. Not much to be said about that. What I can say is though, the people that work there...I'm not too sure about them.One time I had to call a friend of mine that lives there in Monmouth and so I stopped there and parked to use the phone because I don't like to drive and text. No joke, I wasn't even there for 1 minute and some dude comes out asking me if I needed help with anything, as if I was there to start trouble (just to clear things up, I'm a Black, Muslim woman (OMG, IKR?!) that was born in Lewiston).I get people aren't hip to "out-of-towners" but the way that this person approched me and the tone of his voice made it clear that I was making him uncomfortable for whatever reason and I didn't even do anything to him.Dude, stop watching FOX News 24/7.*Welcome to Small Town, U.S.A.*

Nice small country store, also has a small kitchen for pizza and sandwiches. Need small essentials, you could find it there. A little cluttery but the staff is nice.

Pizzas were undercooked and had way too much cheese. Didn't get the dipping sauce for the garlic bread sticks, which I specifically asked for. Thumbs down this time guys.
