The staff here were the friendliest staff you’ll find ANYWHERE on the Island. They were attentive and professional. The beer and food were delicious. It was a great way to end our hike around the perimeter of the Island and the end of our three days there. I wish I knew the waitresses name, she was awesome. So shout out to the brunette waitress with the accent 😊❤️

I had a haddock sandwich for $15 and it came on a flavorful baguette that was the perfect combination of toothy and soft. The haddock was sweet, tender, and delicately breaded. I got the side of fries for an additional $3 and I wouldn't pass them up.The picnic tables are comfortable, sturdy, and large enough to seat ten.Amelia, our server, was attentive, kind, efficient, and patient. She was a delight!

Great beer, great atmosphere, always great service. They even have root beer or ginger beer as non-alcohol options. The food is incredible too! We had banh-mi style fried scallops, which was so good.Highly suggested after a hike or just to chill.

Monhegan Brewing is the only brewery on Monhegan Island. It usually gets really packed here if you don't get there early. They have a bunch of beers on tap here that rotate out and are fantastic. Prices are great for them and they have food here too. The staff here is amazing, very friendly and always ready with a recommendation. I would recommend getting a flight to try them all if possible too.

Love this place! Hit the spot with refreshing beer after our hikes around the island. So cozy and fun! Beer selection is not extensive but worth your while! Who else can say they went to a craft brewery 10 miles out to sea! Shout out to the great service provided by Amelia!

Spent the day on Monhegan Island and capped it off with a stop at Monhegan Brewing, what a great spot! I had the IPA and the Lager and both were delicious, I would definitely buy them if I found them at a store or bar. The non-beer drinkers really enjoyed the seltzer as well. They have a great outdoor seating area with a food truck, so we had a nice afternoon meal as well. Friendly staff, cool location, great beer, what more could you ask for?

Bit of a hike up a hill in town but well worth it. This little brewery makes some great beers despite the remote location. On tap today were a solid IPA, a refreshing golden ale, a delicious mild sour and a rich imperial stout. Based on the quality my only complaint was there weren't more to try!

What a delightful brewery! Outdoor, mostly covered seating with beverage options for everyone. Great beers to go along with the awesome atmosphere. Our server took great care of us always with a smile and humor while being right out straight. We also enjoyed delicious food from the on site food truck. They offer a limited menu but again something for everyone. We ate every bite! It’s well worth the trip for the island experience

Amazing place to hang for a few hours! The staff were very friendly, especially Ms. McGrath. As a non-drinker, I felt like the place was very inclusive and offered homemade root beer as well as ginger beer. I will be back!

If this is the only place you visit on the island, it is well worth the expense of the boat ride. The service is exceptional! The beer is exceptional! The food truck is exceptional!

Honestly I wasnt there for long but customer service is trash. The refused too let me just go too the bathroom 2 minutes before opening. They also most sell shellfish for you people with allergies out there.

Must stop spot on Monhegan.Beer is first rate including the changing sour options. Kid's can try the root beer or ginger beer which are both delicious.Limited hours so go early and stay long.If the food truck is open all of the options are first rate. Unbelievable how much food this tiny cart puts out, all at high quality. Fried Oyster Po' Boy is a stand-out as is the Fried Scallop Bahn Mi.You are also close to the shipwreck and Wyeth house at the southern tip of the island so a short hike to walk off the meal is right at hand.I dare say it is worth a day trip/ferry ride just for lunch.

Definitely a journey to get out to this small brewery, but well worth it. The beer on tap was amazing and the staff was friendly. I got the chance to get out there just before they closed up shop for the season and finish my maine beer trail map. Great views and plenty of other things to do on the island. This is definitely an entire day trip if you plan on going

Something about island breweries makes me give 5's, but this place is definitely within my top 20 of New England breweries. I've been to nearly 500 NE breweries and this place gives the goooood vibe. Their Session IPA was phenomenal!

The IPA was flat and warm. I couldn't finish it, but still got charged. The klolsch was much better. My fault, I should have asked for a taste first.

As friendly and delicious as one would hope on an island with limited opportunities to enjoy a drink and snacks in a charming setting. Plenty of covered tables, in case the weather turns, and a great place to enjoy a flight before getting back on the ferry. The staff were extremely helpful and genuinely nice and helpful. Such a great spot! Out of the way a tad, but well worth the walk. My dad had the blackhead stout, and my brother and I settled on the root beer. They have contact tracing in place and folks need to keep their masks on if they leave their tables, so there's some good measures in place. We've been here a few times over the last few years and it only gets better!

The Monhegan Brewing Company is a family owned and operated brewery on Monhegan Island. Perfect place to stop on your way back from a hike on the island. From Pilsners to Ales to IPAs to Stouts, they have it all. Great group of folks running this fine establishment. They are usually opened 12 to 6 each day. You can get beer to go too.

We experienced a fair bit of unfriendliness on the island, but our visit to the brewery was wonderful! Very friendly, upbeat, no frills establishment and definitely worth the walk to get there.
