Yesterday, late afternoon; before a family barbecue, I stopped at my local Tradewinds located in Milo Maine. What I thought was going to be a simple grocery shopping experience, was the furthest thing from. I had forgotten my ID at home, and usually that’s not particularly a big deal. Especially due to the fact this cashier has sold me alcohol in the past (numerous times), said my scanned ID was okay to use once in the past, and in this particular instance it was my boyfriend purchasing the alcohol and in the past had only asked the person purchasing. I know the laws, and the store should always card everyone. This cashier made it seem like not a big deal previously, and yesterday 4/13/2024 at roughly 5pm the cashier was anything but respectful to me. This cashier said that I needed my physical ID, and that’s fine because it’s law. However, for the cashier to talk to the customer stating “you should know not to roll your eyes at people, you’re disrespectful” I did not say anything out of line other then to my boyfriend in which I said “this is kinda inconvenient because we have to go back to our home to get my ID” (due to our home being an hour and 1/2 in the opposite direction, that situation was very inconvenient.) I did not mind running home to grab it, however, what I had the most problem with was the customer service. To whisper to my boyfriend, discussing private matters, did not justify this cashier’s out of lines comments/ remarks. I felt discriminated, and a male cashier should probably keep opinions about women to themselves (because I experienced a level of sexism via comments made from specific cashier.) I also felt discriminated based off of my attire yesterday. To add insult to injury I’d also like to state that I felt like I was being harassed in a weird way. So, I’d give this Tradewinds a higher rating, but the customer service I experienced yesterday was subpar at best. If there’s a place I can fill out a formal complaint, I would like to.

I love this store. The owner is so nice and everyone in there is so pleasant and helpful. All you have to do is ask.

I wish I could post a video, my son loves shopping with me here, he has the little cart you so thoughtfully provide for him and puts what he wants into it. He's hard to shop with anywhere else because hes insistent on using to cart to run your feet over as you sprint from aisle to aisle getting 10% of your shopping done while dodging angry metal wheels hurtling at your feet. Headwinds thinks of everything, the store is clean, the selection is varied, the prices are cheaper than other locations, and I can get through the entire list with my son happily playing pretend beside me. Fantastic! Thank you to the friendly staff and thoughtful decision makers.

I usually love to stop at this store and love their deli too but lately the store in Orland has been disappointing as far as the Anchor Deli. My husband and I ordered pizzas from there but tonight we ordered a pizza and we’re completely missing the topping that we ordered and denied cheesy breadsticks when we know they make them because we always get them from other workers, it seems to be dependent on whose working. VERY disappointed with their services and the their deli now and probably won’t be ordering again from them and order from Snowmans or Big Apple instead because at least we get what we ordered and cheesy bread too. As far as the breadsticks are concerned that is a biggie because it’s basically a cheese pizza with no sauce, I guess I don’t quite understand why not.

Horrible customer service. Lady behind the counter leaves a young kid by himslf with a line in the store to go smoke.Go the extra 2 miles up the road to Clifton general where they care about your business. Tradewinds has become to corporate.

I was on my way to Brownville Jct and stopped at Tradewinds .. I needed a few boxes to help a family member pack, the store courtesy counter was wonderful, they were so kind! I also picked up some goodies, the store was very clean and orderly and it even has a Dunkin Donutinside .. I will be stopping each time I pass through .. great place to get groceries too!

I've only been here twice, I live too far away, yet stop in before or after a doctors office visit when in Milo. The store is clean and the staff is wicked friendly! Great selection of food and other stuff.I recently used the All paws pet wash, two of my dogs were sprayed by a skunk. It was very convenient and easy to use. $5 for seven minutes was worth it, instead of attempting to wash them in my house!

Ever since the family dollar was taken out from the other side of the building, I haven't liked going in. Everything is so different and items are spread out too far and all over the place. However a lot of people enjoy the new and improved store! It does look beautiful! (on the outside, I have not been inside since the remodel)

This is a small store so there aren't a lot of choices. I wish they would review what is on the shelves and try some new products. They could have a display of new products to try at the front of the store. For example, they have a bunch of chopped canned tomatoes but no puree. They will repeat choices in different brands and not have another type of a similar product. That makes us shop at other stores when we can. The store is clean though and personnel are pleasant.

This place is a gem. I want to thank whoever is in charge of produce because they always do an amazing job. Even in winter, there's a good selection and it's fresh. They even have nice restrooms.

Love this store, nicely set up, easy to walk through to get what you need. It has a bakery, and a dunkin donuts. And it has a beer cave, and lots of wine. Excellent made in store pepperoni cheese bulkie rolls, and shaved steak to go. Prices are as expected. Oh ya, it's also a liquor store, has a Red Box and such!

One stop shopping, they have everything you need, and a Dunkin Donuts to boot! I especially love the chicken salad and seafood salad at the deli. The only issue I ever had was if the meat is discounted, there's a reason, avoid it.

Smalltown grocery with medium town selection. Average prices.Service can be dismally slow. Not enough cashiers or registers in service, frequently. Service levels and speed of transactions is NOT a priority for this business. If you need an "in & out" quick 5 items or less, I might reccomend a convenience store near by.

There’s lots of variety at this store, especially for people on alternative diets. This is very important to me. I would recommend this store.

I go here about once a week friendly employees, clean store and reasonably priced products, parking lot could use a rehab though fresh lines and such but other than that nothing wrong with the store also has an onsite gas station and auto carwash.

Come to shop here everytime I'm in town and they always have a great selection! They also have a dunkin donuts inside where you can sit and enjoy your food and coffee or they have a drive through outside. The also just installed a red box inside so you can rent new releases from here instead of driving to the city to get them. The only thing that I had a problem with is that one time I ordered chicken from the deli and when I got home I noticed it smelt bad. I figured I was imagining it ,so I put it in the fridge. Next day I take it out and start to eat it when I realized it really was bad and it made me sick.. But overall it's a great place! Just stick to cheese if you're going to the deli!

If you like being in the middle of nowhere they are perfect close at 8pm and 7pm on Sunday it use to be nine. At least they have s store though. The people there are nice which is why I gave it a 3 star. When I run out of something I wanna be able to get it at anytime. They have very few things and brands. The remodel they did has made the store ten times better. We could still use a walmart though. Shaws is in Dover and they are opened til 9pm. Tradewinds use to be.

It's just sad to shop here. The crew are sad. The veggies look sad(old and tired). No one is happy in here. No one smiles. The customers just seem to lumber about probably because of the sad employees. The cashiers barely speak. They do blurt out the required: "did you find everything you needed". I usually *don't* find everything I needed but the staff is very busy being sad about something. Is the pay bad? Is it the town? their life? Even the Dunkin workers are sad. "can I have that without sugar"? They just stared at each other "wut"?I dread going in here but it's the only option on my way to camp. I'm buying coolers so I can shop at another store and just keep it cold and avoid the Tradewinds-Milo. Maybe they need more pay?

Nice, very clean grocery store. (Hannaford) Branded store. Nice, friendly employees. If they do not carry a product you are looking for, ask at the service desk. They go out of their way to help.

Competitive prices. Staff are polite and helpful. Carry organic items. If they don't carry what you're looking for, owner/operator will do his best to get it

The staff is mostly very rude, the car wash has been closed during normal business hours the last four times I've tried to use it. If it wasn't the only grocery store in town I would go literally anywhere else.

The store is expanding, has all I need. Everyone is friendly. Good prices, but I think IGA in Old Town has some things at better price.

This little gem of a market has everything a family needs for their grocery shopping - full produce section, locally farm-raised burger, and one cannot forget the "Beer Cave". There is also a Dunkin Donuts in the market. Tradewinds has an automatic car wash, dog wash, and fuel. It meets the needs of all the summer tourists and locals.

A small grocery store, I think they are a branch of Hannaford. They are always so nice in there, their staff is awesome! They have great weekly specials on stuff!
