Stopped in at this cute little breakfast spot on our way out of town. We saw a guest book and signed it after checking out some other comments from visitors talking about how good the food was, and was very excited right away. We were not disappointed! Our server was very friendly, she got our coffees and orders quickly, the food was out fast and was delicious. It's a very classic menu but it tastes like your mom just cooked it right in front of you. The restaurant was clean, the coffee was good, and everyone was friendly. We will be back!

Cute restaurant with delicious food. Was so yummy we went back 2 days in a row. It’s cute and charming and opens at 6 am. We arrive at 6:10. The staff was perky and nice. The food was delicious. I know other reviews mentioned frozen food but the items we had were fresh made. The biscuits for biscuits and gravy were definitely hand made the way your grandma would make them. You could feel the love in every bite. The French toast was outstanding. The omelette had the perfect cheese to egg ratio and was delicious. The marble rye toast was also fantastic. We took a piece of blueberry coffee cake home with us. The meal was delicious. We wished we had a breakfast place near us that was this yummy. They do get busy so sometimes things get a bit slower BUT it was great food and great service.

I was on my way out of town the day after hiking Mt. Katahdin and I needed to refuel my body and had a hankering for breakfast, so I decided to stop at Grandbelly's Country Cafe.Vibe: The inside is nice, simple and super clean. I would add on the clean part that the bathrooms were super clean as well - a big plus. It's what you would expect from a country cafe. There is plenty of parking as they have a large parking lot.Service: The service was uber friendly and the servers recognized alot of the regulars which made it seem like the place the locals frequent.Food: I had the Cheese Lovers Omelette - a three egg omelette stuffed with mozzarella, American and cheddar cheeses. I had mine with an English muffin and the home fries. I opted not to get the home fries with onions, which I think was a mistake. I felt the home fries were a bit bland and extremely dry. Definitely the low point of the meal. I also had coffee with my breakfast. Both the coffee and the omelette were good, but nothing really to write home about. The English muffin was hot and nicely griddled. All in all, it was a standard breakfast and I would probably give them another chance if I were in the area again. But this time with onions in my home fries.Date of visit: 13 July 2023

Oh my gosh! This was a hidden gem. We were looking for a place to lunch around the Medway exit and came across the place just a mile or so off the exit. Lots of downhome homemade options. It was causal, homey with great service and great food. Go. Eat. Visit. You'll be glad you did. (The prices were very reasonable with a discount for paying cash!!)

I ordered steak tips with mashed and I can honestly say this was the most disgusting meal I’ve ever been served in a restaurant. It was stew beef with jarred gravy and canned mushrooms well done despite my rare order 🤮 the mashed potatoes came in 2 ice cream scoop servings and were not made with anything- no milk no butter NOTHING… my guest and I got the same and this inedible meal was 47 bucks!!!! Don’t waste your time or your money here ever!

Went after the breakfast rush with my mom and nieces. I got scrambled eggs with barely cooked corn beef hash and way undercooked home fries. My mom got a soggy cheese omelette with undercooked home fries and my nieces got barely cooked pancakes. This is the second time I’ve been there and the food is never cooked long enough. The waitress only took our order and never came back after delivering it. I will not be going back. Really sad had great potential

We stayed at a campsite down the road, came off the mountain late last night and headed home today. We were ready for some good eating. This place hit the spot. "Mom and pop" restaurant atmospherePleasant service. We both got the Haddock sandwiches, poutine, and desserts. Full and happy belly's for sure!

The eggs were undercooked and the home fries were burnt and the toast was overall it kind of sucked in the price of an orange juice that they say is a large cost like five bucks I can get a whole half gallon

If they are busy you will wait awhile for your food.Everytime I go there It seems like the kitchen only knows how to cook one order at a time then go on to the next. The waitress service is good and often apologies for the wait..I do like the food and the service and prices are reasonable.Btw it seems most restaurants in this area have the same problem with the kitchen.Again the food and front end service is good and worth the wait. It's better than most in this area so they are always busy.
