Cash only. Good basic diner food. Nothing crazy. Super short staffed. One girl running whole dining area with every table full. Huge hair on one of my bacon slices, but she brought me a new piece so it was okay. Parking is limited. Use extra behind the building. Expect 1/2hr wait for food. Not even remotely handicap accessible. Overall not bad. Cheap diner food is cheap diner food.

Prices are like the 1950's Thier specials are fun and CHEAP. The younger waitresses are cool. 1 older girl kinda makes you beg for creamer wicked control freak if you ask me. . Younger dark haired waitress is AWESOME! DEspite hearing the cook grumbling a bit. It’s super reasonably priced and DELICIOUS!! .The pictures are the 2222, and steak tip breakfast.

Cozy diner, friendly staff and very affordable breakfast and lunch options. Only a few staff members and limited tables, so be prepared to sit and stay a while 😊Parking: There are a few on the street and directly behind the restaurant but even past that there’s a huge parking lot!Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not wheelchair accessible. Step up to enter front door, VERY narrow entrance/ foyer and very small doorway into the main dining area. Bathrooms are very small, one men’s room and one woman’s room- both smaller than a regular bathroom stall. I don’t believe you can enter through the back door.

Great food.. we found this Gem before covid when taking mom to chemo daily. Ate there at least twice a week.Waitress owner very friendly. Portion great for price. We now go weekly when visiting the willows.We've eaten breakfast n lunch.Parking: Behind small diner. Very large parking lot.

Small, cramped, slow service, no ice for drinks but food was ok although portion sizes are small (we got the lobster roll, ff & cole slaw, comes with a sliver of cake)...parking in rear or curbside.

This was my first time eating at Kathy's Diner & I was not disappointed.The food was wonderful!Everything is homemade & delicious. I ordered the cornbeef hash w/scrambled eggs, toast, & homemade baked beans.I will DEF be coming back. The service was wonderful & the atmosphere was welcoming.

Friday lunch. 10 choices. 6 or 7 fish choices on Friday. Always busy. Only one waitress who is suoer nice and efficient. One cook..owner I think. Prices less than McDonalds for good solid americana food. Nothing fancy but it does not have to be. Me..French onion soup with blt with onion rings soda...him grilled chicken bacon with cheese sandwich fries soda with mini lemon cake and ice cream bar free for dessert. Total $18.

Great food with excellent prices. However, service can be a little bit slow. Just know that going in at all. I’ll definitely go again.

Small restaurant great breakfasts. Large menu. Hash was good and I enjoyed my veggie omelet. Service was great. They tell you up front your order may take1/2 hour to come out. So enjoy your coffee and relax.

Seriously amazing. I had a delicious steak tips 'fourth of July' breakfast special and it was so amazing. The prices are very affordable, and the food was consistently good around our table. The waitress and other staff were very friendly. I wish this establishment was in my home town, I'd be there every day!

Kathy's Diner is the best breakfast money can buy. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is homey, and then when the bill comes it feels like you're ripping them off. The only downside is that seating is limited, so if you have a big group there isn't much room for you. Here's hoping when the weather warms up they keep the outdoor seating they put in for COVID.

Great food! Staff is so friendly and attentive!! Prices are the BEST in Maine and probably New England. You won't leave hungry! On Fridays in the winter months they have the best fish chowda!! Don't miss Kathy's! Worth the drive!! Friday is seafood day so get there EARLY!! Not kidding about being early! Great fish chowderrr!

Had a great breakfast there today. Could not finish the pancakes, very good but so big. Husband had omelette, looked good and tasted great. Prices are amazing and service was quick and very friendly. May go tomorrow.

Travelers beware; definitely a local joint.Disappointing trip to say the least; drove 30 minutes only to find out that that they stopped serving before 11 (we arrived at 10:15).Trying to make the best of the situation we asked for takeout; Takeout was not an option for some reason...Very strong smell of propane in the entrance (next to the kitchen).

Quaint, small-town diner with a good breakfast menu. Prices are right in line with what you would expect from a small place like this. Three of us had a good breakfast for less than $25 before tip. My daughter enjoyed her blueberry pancakes and bacon. My wife and I liked our omelettes with home fries. The homemade wheat toast was also good.Don't blink, or you'll drive right by it in downtown Mechanic Falls.My only minor criticism is that Kathy's Diner is cash only.
