they have so many amazing store brands. super well built. the clover valley brand is amazing food! they have better prices than Walmart at least 50% of the time, especially if you use Dollar General app coupons or iBotta rebates!!!!! Love the huge selection of frozen and Shelf-stable foods. they had my favorite drinks when no other grocery store sold them. Snapple strawberry kiwi! they have the best prices on so many of my favorite foods, better than Amazon, the grocery stores, or Walmart!!! they have awesome store-brand pillows that I bought and which are knit-pillow top and thick and fluffy and absolutely amazing. only $10 each! they had my favorite Dial body wash when no else did. they have my favourite handsoaps and my favorite makeup tools. dollar general is absolutely amazing. the product line up is stellar and the prices are honestly unbeatable. I LOVE THE FROZEN SAUSAGE ROLL. u gotta buy it!!! best thing I've ever eaten. just slice off a thick slice and it makes an amazing breakfast Sandwich!!!

I enjoyed my trip to this store today. The staff were great and helpful! The only reason I gave a 4 star today, was due to them not having 1 of my items that I had driven there for, due to no fault of their own. Tab and Sunny, you are awesome! I hope Dollar General appreciates you both!!! I will come back to your store again. I used to go to Monmouth until they let one of their valuable employees go....Sad how corporations treat people sometimes!!! But still like this store and the employees too!

The employees at this store go above and beyond to help people out. I will always come here first to shop, mostly because of the amazing people that work here. There is also a great selection and good prices. One employee named Tabitha is absolutely amazing! My car died and she helped me out. Above and beyond

I have visited a number of Dollar Generals and this store is by far the best. The staff, even short-staffed, goes above and beyond to help their customers, with a smile. They work hard to keep their shelves stocked and their aisles clean, The entry is kept up with and the carriages are easily accessible. The manager, Tabitha, is always friendly and knowledgeable. I will be back.

They got it all. Good place to pick up a few things. Like Jolt cola. Haven't seen this in 25 years. But stock is spread out everywhere.

Great store lots of stocked items with many many options of product from food to drink to outdoor decide BBQ grills and accessories. They also have clothing hats water shoes plus much more. Prices are really good and the products are of food quality.

I was there twice today; thanks to being a hot mess and forgetting to check my charger style before buying. I explained to the cashier what I did (her name was Traci, I believe), and she was super sweet and fun while doing my exchange. This is the best experience I have ever had in any Dollar General.

Worth a trip, but just like Dollar Tree and other similar shops, know your prices. Just because you see Oreos for just $1, check the package size you may be paying more per each or ounce. That stated, there are good deals, even some great deals, but you need to know your prices. Also always check "Best by" and expiration dates on all foods for you, Fido and Fifi.

Friendly when I come in and always someones always stocking shelves. Know their stores inventory unlike walmart. I ask what I am looking for BAM Its right here. Not go there or over here. They take you RIGHT there or theyll even go to the back and dig out in box. That's over and beyond. You dont get service like that in Walmart. Polite and courteous.

I love the people that work there extremely kind and helpful people at this particular Dollar General. The only thing that I do not like is the prices of certain things it's not a dollar store or a Family Dollar or a Dollar Tree. Dollar General is the only thing we have out that way that is similar to the others that I listed above.

I love this store. Whenever I cannot get into Augusta, I stop here to pick up essentials. Snacks, TP, cat food, and litter are a good price here.

Litchfield dollar General has the most wonderful manager out of all of the stores. She's always got a big smile and makes u feel welcome and not a bother.. unlike the rest of the crew there and every other DG I've been to. And to think that I thought u had to have a horrible attitude to work there there's 1 girl that changed my mind.ty.

Had a good selection, but would be nice if they had a small selection of fishing supplies with the lake nearby. Nothing too crazy, but a couple bobbers, lures or fishing line would be great.

Good prices on most items. You have to choose items carefully, some are not good quality. The store in Manchester, Maine is the one we frequent. Always messy and disorganized.

When the old wolf descends the stairs of stone to bath in the moonlight of a blood moon, then you will know the true power of the..... oh dollar general, yes, sorry wrong text placement, these phones do get confusing sometimes... well the dollar general, I was a bit upset that the dollar general never actually acquired such a rank in the military, in fact I could find no service record for a Mr. Dollar at all. Sad to say the dollar is a case of stolen valor and I just can not condone such a thing.

I have been in 2 of the stores and I will not go in again. I am very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. The shelves are a mess and dirty. The music playing is load and I appropriate.

This place doesn't even deserve the one star .. it's disgusting.trash all over the floor all the time... It smells awful inside ... The manager is super rude and unhelpful... By far the worst Dollar general I've ever been into .

There is no reason to visit a Dollar General but it's not terrible for a quick stop I guess. It's kind of in the same boat as family dollar.
