Lyons grocery store in Lubec, Maine was an especially pleasant surprise on my recent visit Downeast. The selection of fresh produce, meats, and seafood was amazing. Super clean store and extremely helpful staff. Beautiful artwork on the walls by doors too. You have to stop here when on vacation – they have everything.

Did our shopping for week's stay and they had everything on our list. Very good deli and the next night we got a rotisserie chicken which was delicious. Great staff and service !!

A good selection of groceries at fair prices. You'll find something for a meal or for a week's vacation with very friendly staff to help. Produce was very fresh for a non-mega market. If you're looking for 42 varieties of ketchup or organic grape-cherry-papaya juice, you're not going to find it here, but you shouldn't have expected to.

Went to buy some produce and there’s no scale to weigh food sold by the pound. When I insisted they get a scale a woman in produced called me an “ass”. No prices on most of the bread. Place is a dump. Lubec can do better.

Excellent store that really goes above and beyond to take care of its customers and staff. It may be a small country grocery store but the selection is decent and they always do the best they can, with new items showing up all the time. The staff and owners are all very nice and personable too.

I absolutely love this grocery store. Being from a big city, I always love coming to these local, salt of the earth places with four different brands of refrigeration units and differing shelves. Nothing "big box" about it and I love it. Fresh, local-ish produce and good looking proteins. Frozen foods and all kinds of canned goods. Pasta, bread, you name it, they have it. Beer, wine, and liquor, too...and a decent selection of all three. They even have some tshirts and hats. Locals are all on a first name basis with the staff and lots of banter about life in Lubec was over heard while I was in there...and I wasn't treated any differently than they were. Prices are more than fair, so I don't know what people consider "high," but I didn't notice it. As odd as it may sound, visiting Lyons market was a highlight during my time in Lubec!

All the locals shop here. Prices are reasonable for the most part. Not super large grocery but what they lack is size they sure make up in friendliness and helpfulness. I've gone in looking for things I thought, "No way!” but they did.

Saw the mixed reviews but I thought this place was just fine, and real good considering location. Didn’t look at all produce but bananas were great at .79, not bad I thought. Very large selection of items. Did not check out the meat.

Whenever they advertise something thats a real bargain they never have any left..even tho it may be the first or second day when the flyer comes out..i think its a come on to get you in the store to buy anything..dirty appearance few cashiers real old produce..had enough of that place.

This is a small town convenience store/grocery/variety store. A little bit of a lot of different things are on the shelves and in the bins.
