First time shopping here will be my last. Prices are no better than chain stores and store is shabby. I purchased mostly produce and the tomatoes started spoiling the next day as did the bell peppers. Just cut open a butternut squash and the core was black end to end so it was unusable for Thanksgiving. I really wanted to like and support a local store so this is very disappointing.

I would rate a zero if I could!! There is BLACK MOLD all through the store. Most products are expired or water damaged!! Do not shop here!!

Great place... People where very Friendly thats both other customers and the store employees. The prices seemed reasonable and had alot to offer. Great place to shop. Next time I'm in the Area I will definitely pop in.. and pick up some things. There was something that really caught my eye , it definitely looked really Good .. I was definitely tempted , Especially not being from the area... and never having it before... I wasn't sure if I could even get it... So I just looked 😎. Maybe next time It will be there and Well ... See what happens. 🤪 Like I said though Great Store... Nice People.

Food City is a convenient place to pick up last minute grocery items in the Livermore Falls/Jay area. The building looks a little bit sketchy from the outside, and it is not always the cleanest inside, but it usually has what you need for decent prices. I will sometimes run in here if I need to grab a few things and don’t have time to run down to Hannaford. Overall, it’s not a bad place to shop, but it definitely doesn’t feel as nice, clean, and welcoming as the other places I typically shop.

The meat section is the best around without going to the butcher. They are always running specials throughout the store. They are clean and have a lot of variety for a small town store. The people that work there are super friendly and helpful. You can stop in for a quick snack or your weekly grocery list. Also a liquor store if that's what you need :P

A little on the pricey side and I dont like their deli meats. Some employees are great and will help you with anything. Others are very rude. I went in with my family the other day and the cashier at the service desk literally did not say a word to us while we were cashing out. And yes, sometimes the store stinks...the whole town stinks, silly people 😜 Overall a good place to shop, conveniently located and they have just about anything you could need.

It's in a convenient location in town. They have a good selection of things for the smaller size of the store. The prices are a bit high and the building is old and could use some freshening up.

The BEST grocery store in the area. The manager (Rick) is awesome. If they don't have something you want, ask. If they can get it, they will. They've done it several times for me. That's how to win customer loyalty in my opinion.

Great home town atmosphere. Good deals most of the te and decent meat department. Use this place all the time and have for many years. Get to know the people quickly and they're very helpful. Glad to have them

Great little store ,friendly,convenient,quick,pleasant. They quite often have sales on meats, cereals and other items reduced to move . It's a great store to shop at . Lucky to have a Food City in Town!

This has become a great little store. The current employees have built it up to the point where it is my first stop versus my last option. Non-sale prices are a little steep but the sales cannot be beat!! Great job!!

Prices are steep. The cashier I had in the Express lane tonight had a potty mouth. Dropped the "f" bomb every other word. Not good when you are working with the public.

I stopped going to Food City because they sell expired food. We have found food with expired date from 2015 in 2017. We have opened can goods and drinks and they were so nasty we had to throw them away. Frozen box meals and refrigerated food are often expired especially sandwich meats(I've never ordered from the deli). Bread has been moldy and some loafs had flies fly out when we get home and open them. They keep discounted refrigerated foods just sitting out in shopping carts around the store. This store also smells bad even my children said it stinks as we walked in. On top of everything else their prices are a bit high.

Just went today and teller had his mask down around his chin and he was a little bit rude. I said to him his mask wasn't doing any good under his chin and he said it does him good..I shop there all the time but today was the last time I set foot in there
