Plenty of parking, but bring a blanket if it's busy since tables get snatched up fast. Can't beat the location on the water while enjoying your delicious meal. Friendly staff and great food. Something for everyone, even picky kids. Finished off the night with ice cream which was also good.Parking: Gravel lotKid-friendliness: Kids menu is good. Beach is close for them to play and enjoy.

This is a wonderful place to stop and eat on your way onto, or off of Deer Isle. The scenery is magnificent. Whoever ordered the schooner to drift by while we were eating dinner- Bravo! and thank you. The atmosphere for families is great. Plenty of things for the children to do while waiting fir fresh made food from the galley. They can run around with other children, play on the boat or swing on the bouy. Some spent time skipping rocks, or beachcombing before the tide came in. Although it took alot of tike for our order, we had no complaints while watching the tide come in. Completely relaxing. We could have brought our own bottle of wine too. A must stop when visiting this Island! And, give your self plenty of time to take in the atmosphere. Food was good, a little pricey, but good.

If you're in this area, LDI is a must!! This was the first seafood we had on our trip and may have been the best. The views are great from their picnic area, the service is good they'll bring the food right to your table, and everything is so fresh. If you're not staying in the area this is a bit of a hike to get to but it's totally worth it.

Absolutely Loooove it! LDI is a hidden gem. My siblings and I found this spot on our road trip. We loved how it was tucked away off the bridge. The food was way better than a popular place we went the night before.Lobster rolls, sweet potato fries, mussels, salad...everything was divine!Lovely picnic area with a super cute view.We had a blast!!

Best lobstah shack in the area! The lobstah rolls are delicious and very generous portions. Burgers, mussels, clams, fries, and more are also available. Plenty of parking, plenty of picnic tables, and peaceful picturesque setting. Make sure to get an ice cream too.

Had the most lovely meal here! Freshest mussels I've had. The lobster roll has a grilled brioche bun which really elevates it above the rest. Great service and BYOB!

The quaint and simple roadside lobster shack plus a whole lot more. Sure you can get a solid lobster dinner with corn and steamers but there is also a killer tuna burger on the menu. Sure it is just pinic tables on the water but there is the best view of one of Maine's most iconic bridges as well as an unbeatable sunset view. Come by land or by sea and BYOB, this is where you want to get a lobster this summer.

When you think of a Maine lobster shack I am certain you will conjure up a view if LDI. This spot is prime real estate. The LDI Dine and Dock shack is on the right hand side as soon as you end your journey over the historical Deer Isle suspension bridge. The menu has the usual expected offerings, lobster rolls, crab rolls, mussels and steamers and during our visit live and steamed lobsters were also available. There were two menu offerings that seemed a bit out of place for a Maine seafood shack, Ahi tuna and smoked trout dip. As odd as I found the addition of these two items I found the absence of local fish more confusing. I'll correct this by saying that they did offer fish "nuggets" on the kiddie meal. Strange. The menu rounds out with hamburgers, veggie burger and hotdogs. We ordered a lobster roll, which was served in a regular hotdog roll with little mayo $22 was the MP. Lobster was fresh and sweet. We were disappointed that at 12:50p they were already sold out of crab rolls. I, instead opted for the crab cakes (2). The crab cakes were phenomenal they had little filler, just enough to hold their shape with a gentle kick of spice that only helped to highlight their flesh, sweet flavor. They were served with an incredible, but far too little drizzle, of a lemon aioli that could challenge the fanciest of restaurants. The cakes were served on top of a nice sized healthy serving of fresh garden mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, grated carrots and cucumbers. The salad was drizzled with an incredible vinaigerette, but again not near enough to dress the salad. There are picnic tables and chairs available for diners. All seating overlooks Eggemoggin Reach and the Deer Isle bridge. Definitely recommend.

One of my favorite nights in Maine this last weekend! We got lobster rolls, steamers & clam chowder. . . But the star of the show was A’s Mussels, that broth was something sent straight from heaven!Tips:Bring a bottle of wine or a case of beer with you. We didn’t know it was BYOB, although I did get to enjoy a root beer from the bottle and it was probably just as delicious.Get there early, it’s a popular place and they sell out quick!

Great spot on Little Deer Isle with wonderful views of the Eggemoggin Reach & Deer Isle - Sedgwick Bridge. We love coming by boat for ice cream and delicious food. The lobster BLT & mussels are excellent. And the sweet potato fries are just perfect. We appreciate the friendly service and the little love playing on the swing & exploring the lobster boat.

Fast service. Great food. And if an out of stater is using the boat launch, you’ll get a good show too.

The best lobster rolls we had in Maine! The lobster meat portion was generous, and the location was just breathtaking with a view of the bridge, on the beachfront. The staff was very kind and sweet. The bathroom was very clean as well. It was just a pleasure to hang out at this spot!

We’ve been coming to Sargentville for years but hadn’t tried LDI. We LOVED it. The food is def a notch above the other fried seafood shacks, although we love them too. Best french fries anywhere (and I know my fries!) horseradish coleslaw fantastic… and terrific clam chowder. With friendly smiles. You can’t beat it. Thanks LDI! We’ll be back.

Friendly staff here, great view and set up! The best food we had furring our stay in Maine.Cheeseburger was perfect!Fried claim basket, claims were delicious and prefect; only complaint is that there was only like 4-5 fried claims in the basket, portion small for $22.Kids Chicken Tenders were delicious as well, real chicken breast!Clam chowder was delicious too!
