Visiting the area over christmas, first time in the store. Very well kept and well stocked store! Although I struggled to find a few things, workers were very helpful. In particular Emma was great, made sure that had everything I needed!

This has to be one of the nicest and most well kept/ stocked branches, of this chain, that I have ever seen. They have good amounts of everything you could need. And for the most part at competitive pricing. There are a number of items in there that you can easily buy at a gas station cheaper. Other than that, especially if you are a a bargain shopper, this is a great place to shop.

The Litchfield Dollar General Store is just the best. The staff has been there since the store opened. The same attentive caring people. The store is immaculate thanks to Tina the manager. I've never seen one thing out of place in that store. And it's stocked with everything, there's nothing you can't buy there, from an old-time carpet sweeper to the newest fashions. Just love it and you will too pay them a visit.

Great for a quick stop for ice and water. But some items are more expensive. I bought a rug there for 10.00 found the same one at Christmas tree shop for 6.99. What the heck?? And they also sell water for the same price as biglots. Dont always assume they are cheaper..

Easy to find. The parking was good. The store wasn’t very well organized a lot of stuff in the isles not put in the shelving the workers were very friendly

This store is just up the road from the Blistered Fingers Festival in Litchfield, Maine. You can find almost anything you need at a reasonable price. Service with a smile.🙂

Sometimes the workers are nice but most of the time they are pretty nasty to customers. I only go if I have to otherwise its always worth driving just a little further away for what you need.

Don't bother to get there deals. Even if you tell them at the register that its 70% off or its buy 2 get 3rd free. It doesn't come off at register. They dont care either.

It's always a messy store, outside always has people outfront of the store asking for spare change, or cigarettes. I always try to hurry Everytime I go to the downtown location Waterville Me.concourse.

I overheard an employee be yelled at and then be apologized too within the span of 5 mins. I stopped my shopping and left cause of the odd atmosphere.

The dollar general it cost me 5.28 for 2 ice cream bars. Could have gotten 1 gallon at hannaford for the same price.

This Dollar General is a packed store. There is not a ton of room to move around in here. Border line cluttered.
