Last year I was looking for someone who could make a custom birthday cake for my daughter. A relative told me they got their cakes from Tara. So, I reached out to her. It was so easy to communicate with her, and the cake came out exactly as we wanted. It also tasted amazing! Everyone kept saying they normally didn’t like fondant, but they loved this cake.We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday this past weekend and again Tara nailed my daughter’s birthday cake. She will be our go to every year.

Tara is the sweetest person I've ever met. She greets everyone with a positive attitude and a smile as soon as they walk through the door. All of her products taste amazing and are always fresh. She made my wedding cake and it came out more beautiful than I imagined. I always recommend her when someone is looking for something to be made. Keep up the great work beautiful!

We had Tara make our wedding cake - it was for a small intimate wedding and my husband and I shared the love of donuts. So she made my rather vague idea into a reality and I loved it! Came out even better than I imagined and it tasted incredible. Would highly recommend Sweet Cakes 🧡

Tara not only makes amazing cakes but she truly cares about what her customers wants and needs are. She went over and beyond creating an “L.O.L. Doll” cake for my 4 yr old granddaughter’s birthday. I told her I had no idea what they were - she laughed and said “Leave it to me!”. I was blown away with the finished product. She even ordered accoutrement on Amazon for the finishing touches. My granddaughter was Over the Moon! She also made amazing animal themed cupcakes for a baby shower - foxes, raccoons owls and bears. They were so beautiful everyone had a hard time eating them as they were too cute to consume, but one bite into the delicious cake and they were devoured!

I was having a surprise birthday party for my mom’s 61st and my grandmother’s 80th birthday. It was delayed by a week due to a snow storm. I had zero problems moving my order ahead a week. The only instruction I provided was who the party was for, that I wanted it to say happy birthday, strawberry cake and their favorite colors (pink and purple). I was ABSOLUTELY BETTER THAN I PICTURED!! Everyone kept asking me where I got such a beautiful and delicious cake! If I EVER need a cake for an special occasion Sweetcakes is where I will be going! Beautiful cake that unfortunately cracked. Very disappointed for the price I paid for the cake, but unfortunately the crack was not noticed until after the cake was picked up,there was nothing the owner could due for me in terms of the invoiced contract.

I have order many Cakes from Sweetcakes bake shop for years. The cakes tasted amazing the frosting was amazing also. Tara’s designs of cake are out of this world. She is very talented. All the cakes I have seen are gorgeous. Thank you much for all you do are your shop and you are very talented🎂🎂🎂.

Sweet Cakes Bake Shop has a wonderful variety of baked goods! When there's an open house, you should stop in for sure! My favorites are her donuts and berry pie! I've gotten several custom cakes for my kid's birthdays over the years, and they are always high quality and tasty!

I asked for a flexing arm and got an extremely phallic design. Owner didn't offer a way to make it right. Box was really taped shut when I picked up, which seems intended to discourage from checking before leaving the shop. I wasn't going to leave a poor review but the cake itself was also not great, and for the price at least one of these criteria should have been met.

Tara is literally the easiest person to work with when it comes to special req. I literally gave her the most vague ideas and she nailed it! I didn’t know what the heck I wanted and she tooonmy vague ideas and nailed it!!! Definitely be back to see her again

Order a 6 inch cake and 50 cupcakes and they all turned out perfect. They were great a communicating and ensuring they knew exactly what I wanted. They were both incredibly delicious as well as beautiful.

Not really a friendly place. Maybe it was a off day but when you deal with the public it needs to be better than the abruptness I had this morning. And the pastries didn’t taste fresh.
