This was a fantastic place to have dinner with my elderly in laws. My father in law has limited mobility and it was very easy to get him and seated. We had the onion rings to start, the aioli was delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly, muscles app was great! Even the small side salad had tomatoes from the garden! Our server Andy was very attentive and personable! We will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Be sure to ask where to park before you unload. They need to set up the ramp.

This place my friends is a great place to stop at. I traveled from Ohio and from where I'm staying this place came up as a good spot. Reviews are right! The mussels for an appetizerwas a great choice. The Cacio e Pepe was fantastic. Noodles were perfectly cooked. Bartender/waitress was top notch she ran around taking care of a ton of people and never missed a thing. Dessert was great as well. I'll be back for sure!

We have been here many times over the past year and have enjoyed ourselves. Today at lunch however, the food was back at a low point. The buttermilk chicken tasted like it was slathered in chicken bouillon...nasty. Fish and chips came out with a soggy batter that had to be scraped away to get to the fish. Too bad.. I understand there are some new chefs coming soon. Hopefully, this is true. Service was great, as always.

Super nice staff and management. Food was very good. Not really a fan of the haddock chowder — too light for my taste but the haddock sandwich was very good. Wifey had the lobster and it was a fabulous first experience for her in Maine.

Fantastic dinner. The fish and chips plate was awesome. We also had the 1/2 chicken plate. The drinks we had were very good too!!! Only thing that seemed odd was the lack of seafood on the menu. We had no problem finding something to eat, but being called Whale's Tooth, we thought thereight have been more seafood. Please don't take as a negative. The staff, dinner, appetizers, drinks and dessert were all AWESOME! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Camden/Lincolnville area!Parking: Easy to find, with plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Great outdoor seating area, right on the water. They had many picnic tables in the grass for everyone to enjoy.

Amazing food ! But - the photos on Google map of menu selection were not on the menu (scallops for example) I loved the Filet mignon topped with crusted blue cheese and just enough mashed potatoes! James had the summer salad with extra lobster - amazing too! A very kind bartender and Dianne was quite a character ! Loved our evening (even though I had to return my steak… they certainly accommodated me!)

Visited the area from out of town during “off season” and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! We loved it so much we ate dinner here both days we were in town! The atmosphere was lovely and there was even live music on Saturday night. The menu didn’t have a ton of items that we would necessarily choose but my husband and I both absolutely LOVED the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich (we are from the south so a bit of fried chicken snobs + this was superb fried chicken!) and the Shrimp/Sweet Potato/Bacon Chowder! The chowder I felt was very reasonably priced even if the sandwich was a bit pricey. I wish I could’ve brought some of the chowder home with me it was so delicious! I also enjoyed the style fries they served with the sandwich. The large fireplace is hard to miss and is so nice and cozy! Definitely request a table by the fireplace if you can :) also recommend reservations through Open Table.Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Love the live music, the fireplace, I know there would be a wonderful ocean view during the daytime, and I felt the Shrimp/Sweet Potato/Bacon Chowder was not only delicious but also a reasonable price. I wish there was more food variety with some less expensive food options but the service was good and I appreciated them being open even during “off season”! Will definitely come back for the chowder when we return to visit :)

I have been meaning to try this place for the past 4 years since we moved here. We finally were successful on the last day before their 3 week winter break. Weren't we lucky!!. They serve what I believe is the most crispy fish and chips I've ever had in Maine. Absolutely perfect and generous filet too. Normally I'm not a fan of over loaded plates and I don't like lots of leftovers, but this can be the exception! My wife enjoyed a very juicy, properly prepared burger. That's not as easy as you may think. We're waiting patiently for their break to end to see if we can repeat our experience. Check out the Whales Tooth pub at Lincoln Beach l. The view is great, too!

We had an incredible time here! The food was exceptional, as was the service. Best burger ever!! The owners actually interact with the guests. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Definitely a place worth a visit… and revisit!

Absolutely EXCELLENT! To begin, the ambiance & views at the Whale’s Tooth pub are unmatched. We were seated on their upper deck with beautiful views of the water accompanied by the most delicious seasonal cocktail (the early harvest rhubarb margarita). The experience only got better and better with each round of food that we ordered: General Tso’s cauliflower bites, the Falafel bowl, and last but not least the Beef nachos which are a MUST order! The nachos were served on top of a cheese covered flour tortilla which was delicious. Everything was not only 10/10 but was also presented in such a gorgeous and professional manner! This is not your average pub experience, the owners go above & beyond to cater to customers. Absolutely loved it here & highly recommend especially if you are traveling on route 1 and looking for a delicious meal!

Visited this historic 1700s Pub with my wife for lunch. It is located right on the water in Lincolnville, next to Camden, ME. It's a cool place with a great old fireplace that was once used to cook food in what must have been the original kitchen. Nice menu and the food was very good too. We each had a Reuben sandwich and the soup of the day, which was a creamy broccoli, cheese and bacon soup. The food and service were very good and we met the owners, who actually live in this historic house! We will be back.

Really lovely place to enjoy a seaside meal- we stopped in after a trip to Acadia National Park on the way back to our camp. Service & atmosphere was terrific & the lemon blueberry cake was as good as it looks!!Vegetarian options: There were limited vegetarian options for understandable reasons, but we were pleased with what we ordered!

We loved everything about this place. Our server Cassidy was a gem, getting us the last drop of chowder and saving us cheesecake for dessert! This was hands-down the best Negroni I’ve had in who knows AND my husband and I can’t remember better fish and chips. The PB&J wings…? Whoever came up with that recipe deserves a medal. Simply scrumptious.

Outdoor seating provides a great view of the harbor. Service is good, menu selections range from fish to steak. We shared the crab potato fries, which were excellent. For an entre we shared the fish and chips. The filets were not as thick as expected, would have preferred less coating and more fish like they used to serve. On a busy day, parking can be very tight.

We were disappointed to arrive and find that many of the items we saw online were no longer offered due to the new ownership. The 4 cheese macaroni and cheese lacked flavor, and was overpriced. It came with no sides or any protein and was $17. The staff was polite and they weren't crowded, but we still had to wait for drink refills. The view is pretty and the atmosphere in town is quaint. I just can't recommend the quality of food for the price.

They advertise Gluten Free items, but our waitress couldn’t provide a GF menu or suggestions and wouldn’t make substitutions.Dietary restrictions: There was no gluten free options even though it is advertised. I was disappointed.

This was walking distance of our holiday accommodation so no worries about driving. The staff were always friendly and we never encountered a problem with waiting to be served even when it was busy. They remembered you and made a point of acknowledging you when you arrived and left. The dishes were very good and good sized portions. The Lobster was excellent, fresh and well priced. It's not fine dining but its excellent food in good surroundings and well worth a visit.

We recently had a date night at the Whale’s Tooth and really enjoyed our time there. The French onion soup is PHENOMENAL. I had the seafood risotto (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and my husband had the fish and chips which he really enjoyed! They do take reservations so, just for your own peace of mind you may want to utilize that!

Five of us met for drinks and dinner. My Cacio e Peppe on bucatini pasta with chicken was really something special. And everyone raved about the fish ‘n chips (friends agreed it was some of the best ever). Great drinks menu. The house white wine was great and the atmosphere in back with the fireplace is special. I might even have my company holiday party here next year. We’ll be back soon!!!!

We had dinner there last night for the first time since the new owners took over and it was GREAT! My husband had the chicken pasta and loved it and I had the fish and chips which I was worried wouldn’t compare to the ones they used to have but they were fantastic!!! The other couple we brought loved their dinners as well! Deanna was our waitress who we loved before and is as always great! Will be back!!!

The high level cuisine here snuck up on us. Everything we put in our mouth was delicious. The haddock sandwich (pictured) was the best fish sandwich I have ever had. The pickled onions were the star of the show (yup), but the batter on the fish was so flavorful. My wife had the seafood chowder and the rainbow kale Caesar salad. Both delicious. For a casual little pub, the quality of food is absolutely incredible.

It was okay. The waitress seemed kind of unimpressed with us when we passed on drinks . The menu was fairly generic for a coastal Maine restaurant. However the salmon and risotto was very delicious.Parking: Easy parkingWheelchair accessibility: It seems really tight to maneuver for wheelchairs, or walkers. Like they would need to move furniture to help a customer reach a table.

Ate here in June of 2022. Stayed in Lincolnville across the street from the Whales tooth Pub so eating here was convenient. Had hoped for a better experience / more vegetarian food options, otherwise I’d have eaten here more given the convenience.Too cold to sit outside so we sat at a booth inside the first room you walk into. Great view of Penobscot bay. Atmosphere in that room is ok… not as much “ pub “ character as if you went further into the restaurant.Service was great. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. She was from Belfast, new the area and engaged in conversation and recommendations of things to do in the area. Super helpful. We started with the beef nachos minus the beef ( as we are vegetarians) They we’re good but the restaurant is very stingy with the salsa and sour cream. ( expensive charge for extra) and there was no reduction in the $ 19 cost given we didn’t have the beef. We then each had the Caprese panini sandwich. Our only other entree option as vegetarians was Falafel. ( Note to restaurant owners: Vegetarians are getting tired of Falafel being the vegetarian option) The sandwich was served with grill marks on the bread but the mozzarella was ice cold and not melted at all. I sent it back to get heated up. It was marginally better when returned. The fries that came with it stole the show… they were excellent!!Drink options were fun and we each ordered a few… not impressed. They were pricey and weak.I did reach out to the owners via email prior to coming to the restaurant and asked if they had other vegetarian options on the menu…( I’ve seen pictures of a good looking Mac and cheese on the reviews) but sadly they omitted there aren’t any at this time and they were not open to my suggestions of adding a pasta dish or to have a veggie burger or an impossible (vegan) beef option …. With there burger selection. It’s unfortunate because the location and convenience to Lincolnville beach is great but unless the menu changes I won’t return.
