Incredible experience at the Spouter Inn Bed and Breakfast. As a Maine resident I am picky about where I stay for a mini getaway, and I am SO glad I stayed here! The owners are welcoming and hospitable, there is ample privacy, the food is wonderful, and the property is just the right distance from shopping and restaurants. This bed and breakfast is an experience in itself, not just a place to sleep. Perfect place to stay and I will be a returning customer due to the experience. A+++

A perfect spot for a quiet getaway! I booked the Helmsman's Quarters for two nights in order to enjoy an introverted staycation by myself. My goal was to do a nice day hike in Camden, and then spend the rest of the time reading and relaxing. The Spouter Inn made a perfect home base for these plans; close to area attractions, without being in a busy downtown. I could see the island ferry from my room as it arrived and departed, and had a nice sunrise view on my first morning. When I arrived, the whole place smelled deliciously of woodsmoke and baking bread; instantly cozy. Mark and Traci were warm and friendly, and their inn was immaculate. Everything was tastefully furnished with both contemporary and antique items so that it felt timeless without being fussy. The room was nicely sized, the bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure was fantastic. I could tell that every detail and amenity had been carefully considered. There was a Keurig in the room with a selection of coffees and teas, as well as another in the common area (which also had a mini fridge with bottled water and a basket of snacks). Each evening there was a different homemade treat to enjoy (whoopie pies and then chocolate chip cookies). Breakfast was also delicious, of course. The blueberry pastry, pecan scone, and buttermilk pancakes were especially memorable to this carbaholic. I took advantage of the quiet inn on my second evening to read with a cup of tea in the comfy living room chairs for a couple of hours. All in all, I can't say enough nice things about my stay, and my only regret was that I couldn't stay longer. I highly recommend Traci and Mark's hospitality whether you're on a vacation or just enjoying a quiet weekend alone.

Excellent B&B!! Mark and Tracy were excellent hosts and the Spouter Inn is well kept, VERY CLEAN, beautifully decorated and very inviting. The bed room was very comfortable! Breakfast was fantastic, we wish we could have stayed longer. The inn is located directly across from the water and with the beautiful front porch made an excellent place to sit, have a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise. It's location makes it an easy drive to go up and down the coast for site seeing. We plan to visit again in the future but, stay longer.Rooms: Room was comfortable and VERY CLEAN, the beds were also very comfortable. The entire B&B is kept immaculate.Food & drinks: Breakfast was Fantastic, very fresh and well prepared

My husband & I went to this B&B for a weekend getaway/birthday celebrations. In our opinion, it was perfect! The rooms were spacious and immaculate; the location was convenient; (only 15 minutes from downtown Camden and ~ 30 minutes away from downtown Belfast) and the hosts - Tracy & Mark, were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. We just felt very relaxed and comfortable during our entire stay. And the breakfasts? Outstanding! Buttermilk pancakes with blueberry compote. The next day was Eggs Benedict. Not to mention 24 hour coffee and tea and 4 pm goodies! We hadn't stayed in a B&B for at least 20 years so we were a little skeptical. The Spouter Inn erased all of it.Rooms: Spacious, well-appointed, immaculate, and cozy.Nearby activities: Downtown Camden is only 15 minutes away!Walkability: Lincolnville Beach is across the street and one of the two restaurants the hosts suggested is a 2-minute walk from the B&B.Noteworthy details: The B&B is a traditional colonial style dwelling and it's decorating beautifully. Very homey and cozy.

My sister and I stayed at The Spouter Inn, and we had the best time! Mark and Tracy are so sweet and excellent hosts; they want you to feel at home and have a great stay. The breakfasts were always 10/10; we stayed 5 days and never had a repeat breakfast!! The food is so yummy and there are afternoon baked goods, the Inn is perfectly situated by the sea, and it is so easily drivable to fun places without having to stay in a crowded town. We loved our time here and felt so relaxed, we will definitely be visiting again!! Thank you Mark and Tracy <3Rooms: The room as very cozy and clean, and had so many thoughtful touches!Nearby activities: Camden is less than 10 minutes away, and there are lots of things to do in the area.Safety: We never felt unsafe; the rooms have good locks and Lincolnville is a very cute town that feels very safe.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Spouter Inn during our New England road trip this month, and it was a highlight of the trip. This was our base camp for driving to Acadia National Park, then exploring the town of Camden. No matter what we did during the day, we we always looked forward to getting back to the Spouter. Mark and Tracy made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived - and Tracy's cooking & baking were the talk of the Inn! They've thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommend a stay here!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience I had at the Spouter Inn! Mark and Tracy are warm and accommodating hosts and make you feel right at home. The breakfasts were just the right size and so delicious! My room, The Crows Nest, was comfortable with a fantastic view of the harbor and especially sunrise!Tracy would bake afternoon snacks, left in the common area, and were a delightful treat to look forward to each day!My stay at the inn was just what I needed and I look forward to booking another getaway. Thank you both!

This place is Perfection! A beautifully decorated and perfectly appointed Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Harbormaster quarters and it was lovely. Super quiet, great privacy, comfortable bed, beautiful linens and super plush fluffy towels. But the best part is the breakfast! Absolutely to die for, great variety, prepared and delivered perfectly. And the mid-afternoon cookies made for a luxurious treat.Tracy and Mark are the best hosts! Just the right amount of information and interaction. We had a great stay!

I love this adorable place. It's got all the things you need for a relaxing get away. We have stayed in the Crow's Nest and the Chart Room. The former is incredible and feels like you're in heaven. The latter is what kept me from giving the rooms five stars. It's close to the main entrance and you will hear the foot traffic, voices and the door from this room. But the property is clean, efficient, not fussy, well-appointed. The breakfasts are absolutely incredible! Tracy & Marc do a wonderful job at making you feel at home.

I’m not a big “reviewer” but the Spouter Inn and Tracy and Mark deserve a big shout out. Everything was perfect for me and my wife, from Mark graciously greeting us for our late check-in to Tracy’s fabulous breakfasts that I’m still dreaming about. Our Harbormaster room was super comfortable, had a great view and was extremely quiet and peaceful. All in all a great start to our vacation and a wonderful introduction to Maine hospitality and friendliness.

My husband and I took our first trip to Maine and we decided through the wonderful reviews to stay here, and it did not disappoint. Mark and Tracy were such amazing hosts I loved coming in a getting a nice homemade cookie each day, the breakfast were beautifully done and my husband and I raved about the homemade granola. The even accommodated us with a delicious to go breakfast because we had an early excursion that was incredibly sweet of them. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left they made sure we had everything that we needed.I don't know how they do it but they do it well. A must stay to anyone going to Maine

A wonderful Inn along a beautiful stretch of Maine coastline. This clean, well-managed place is one of the nicest Inns we’ve stayed at in our years of travel. The provided breakfast is absolutely upscale gourmet (no dry cereal & donuts! ). Perfectly situated near several small/ medium coastal towns…no cruise ships offloading here!! Three very good restaurants and a Maine-operated ferry within walking distance. A unique blend of quiet relaxation and nearby activities.Rooms: Exceptionally clean!

My husband and I choose the Spouter Inn to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in hopes to getaway yet feel close enough to the ocean, sites and great restaurants. We were hopeful for a comfortable, clean accommodation that didn’t feel awkward. We’ve stayed in bed and breakfast’s before and all I can say is… Mark and Tracy’s establishment met our expectations and then some! From their down to earth, calm delight demeanor, to their hospitality, delicious, beautifully served, homemade breakfast and the comfortable bedding. The Inn was was very clean; it was apparent that the they serve their guests with pride in their home. Their lawns were immaculate with sweet areas to relax. They had a front porch with stunning views and even comfy beach chairs we could use at the beach across the street. Tracy even helped me plan a couple little surprises for our arrival. My husband and I are already talking about bringing family here as a relaxing reunion. Thank you Tracy and Mark, we appreciate it!

My daughter-in-law and I were fortunate to have stayed at the inn. The entire inn is immaculate. The rooms are bright and comfortable. We appreciated all of the amenities that were provided to us. I highly recommend this as a place to stay if you’re planning a trip to the mid-coast of Maine..

In one word - Fabulous! What a wonderful B&B. The ambiance - comfy, cozy and so relaxing. From the “Captain’s Quarters” bedroom to the front porch to the fire pit to the parlor and breakfast area - all so welcoming and inviting. The owners, Tracy and Mark, leave no detail untouched. Their breakfasts are simply delicious and presented with style. Hospitality, warmth and charm are everywhere. Highly recommend The Spouter Inn for your next or first trip to Maine. I know we will return!

The Spouter Inn was the best BnB we visited in our recent trip to Maine, better than the places where we stayed in Bar Harbor and York. Tracy and Mark were the perfect hosts, providing excellent food, great tips on things to do and restaurants for dinner. Our breakfasts were wonderful and different on each of our 4 days. The Inn is perfectly clean and had all the comforts a traveler desires, including beautiful rooms, places to sit and visit both inside and outdoors, and multiple charging outlets on each side of the bed. Mark and Tracy thought of everything and it was a pleasure sharing their home getting to know them.

We stayed two nights at the Spouter Inn and enjoyed our stay very much. Mark and Traci were great hosts, very friendly and accommodating. Mark gave us some great tips on where to dine and hike in Camden State Park. The rooms were beautiful and we had an ocean view. The breakfast's were outstanding. In all, we highly recommend The Spouter Inn!

Mark and Tracy are delightful hosts. The Spouter Inn is in a perfect location for scenery, restaurants, and a base for exploring the region. Delicious, beautiful breakfasts started our days off well. Tracy adapted my gluten-free foods to be as yummy as everyone else’s… and the food was safe without cross contamination. A fine bed gave us restful nights. We definitely plan to return.

This was our second year of staying at the Spouter Inn on my birthday weekend, and our first with the new owners, Mark and Tracy. They have definitely maintained the high standards of comfort and delicious breakfasts set by the previous owners. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the rooms, but we particularly like staying in the Captain's Quarters in the Carriage House part of the Inn. The room is spacious, comfortable, and quiet despite facing Rt. 1, and it has a great view of the beach. We also enjoyed spending time with our friends in the cozy living room.

Our stay at Spouter Inn was simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the owners, who were both incredibly thoughtful and professional. The room we stayed in, The Crow's Nest, was absolutely gorgeous. The jacuzzi tub was a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring the coast, and the view from the room was breathtaking. The attention to detail in the room was exceptional, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The breakfast each morning was delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly loved the french toast and fresh fruit.Overall, I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. The location is perfect for exploring the coast, and the rooms are beautifully appointed with all the amenities you could need. The owners truly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. I can't wait to return!

We were looking for a quiet relaxed vacation in Maine and happened to stumble upon the Spouter Inn, and made a booking from June 19 - 25, 2023, after talking with Tracy on the phone. This Inn is absolutely unbelievable - spotlessly clean with beautifully appointed rooms (we stayed in 2 different rooms) and wonderful views of the Penobscot bay. The hosts Tracy and Mark are wonderfully gracious hosts who made us feel at home and kept us and all their other guest engaged throughout our stay. And the breakfast - all I can say is wow! Different 3 course, freshly prepared, and individually plated gourmet breakfasts every single day , followed by freshly baked cookies in the afternoon.Tracy and Mark, thanks again for making our trip so momorable, and we look forward to being back soon!!

The Spouter Inn is one of the most lovely places I’ve ever stayed. The family who runs the B&B are super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the house was very beautiful with ocean front views. We enjoyed sitting outside in the garden and watching the sun set in the evening. Breakfast was very delicious with 3 courses. I will be staying here again for sure.

The Spouter Bed and Breakfast provided a warm and cozy atmosphere. The 3 course breakfast every morning was scrumptious and a perfect way to start the day. Freshly baked cookies awaited us in the afternoon. The rocking chairs on the front porch were the perfect way to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, watch the sun rise or wind down for the evening. The hosts were personable and extremely friendly. I highly recommend staying at the Spouter Bed and Breakfast.
