Really enjoyed sitting seaside and the view of the ocean. Nice tables with umbrellas to block the sun. Gift shop was a interesting and nice. Ordered the lobster roll with fries - all absolutely divine! Chicken fingers were a good meat to breading ratio with tasty ranch. Meat was a bit dry though. We also ordered the onion rings and they were perfectly sweet and crunchy. Liked the nice touch of serving the chicken finger basket on a frisbee.Parking: Dedicated restaurant parking away from beach parking

My husband and I went here on our last night of our Maine vacation, as I really wanted to get one last blueberry pie from someplace before leaving for home, and it was right down the road from where we were staying.Their blueberry pie was amazing!! :) the perfect end to our vacation. There was live music going on as well, which was really great listening to.Plus their gift shop had the best christmas ornaments, out of every place we stopped during the week!Husband said the fresh fish was also very good. Would recommend this place for sure

Early dinner. Nice restaurant with wonderful server and staff. Views of the Penobscot Bay. Right on the water. Eat inside, booths or tables. Outside tables also. Small bar. Next to Lincolnville Beach, Lobster pot (shore dinner) includes nice cup of New England Clam Chowder. Main course....1 1/8 pound whole lobster with drawn butter, corn on the cob, steamed clams with broth, red potatoes. Dessert, warm Blueberry Pie. Nice selection of draft beers. Yes, you need the lobster bib provided. 😀There is a small gift shop on premises.Parking: Free 4 hour parking for general lot or parking for Lobster Pound restaurant, they are adjacent, marked spaces. Plenty of parking, easy in and out, on Route 1 North Bound.

We come up every summer and make sure we eat here at least once per trip. The food is hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff is courteous, efficient, and professional. I love the deep fried scallops basket (with fries and coleslaw) and my husband gets the basket with a variety of seafood in it. We have also had lobster here, the clam chowder, and the blueberry pie. All are excellent and the blueberry pie exceptional. There is an outdoor dining space with picnic tables facing the beach/harbor and we bring our dog with us (polite, on leash, calm, quiet) and it hasn’t been a problem. Including some photos of the view. We will be back again and again and again…

Food was good...had the fish/chips and lobster Mac and cheese. Food came out quickly but server forgot our drinks, so we had to wait. Then they had to go back for tartar sauce. Food was only warm by the time we ate it. Picnic table area is nice and view of the harbor/beach is great. Bloody Mary was good but came in a plastic cup as did the beer. Not impressed.

I would say the restaurant is just average. Fried oyster sandwich and crab roll was good. Friendly service but she had too many tables so service was a little slow. Also felt the prices were a bit inflated. What this restaurant has going for it is the fantastic view.

Best chowder in the Camden area. They also have a great grilled cheese. There was live music, great views, and great service. Courtney at the bar was so fun! He makes a mean blueberry cocktail. My only wish was if they were open later! Great times! Will come back to the area just for the lobster pound!

Lobster stop number eight on the journey. The lobster pound since in the little town of Lincolnville. We arrived early on a Sunday afternoon before the crowd started to arrive. We ordered the jumbo lobster roll and took a picnic table overlooking the beach. Great little seaside setting to eat lunch. The lobster roll and onion rings arrived.Let’s start with the onion rings and that’s the only reason they’re not getting five stars. The onion rings seem to be frozen onion rings and were ok. Fresh cut and battered would have been so much better. Therefore I’m knocked to the star because why not have fresh onion rings. The lobster roll. The jumbo lobster roll had plenty of meat on it but it’s an up charge to get the jumbo. The meet was tender and flavorful. The large role was the biggest that we have had so far to handle all the meat. It was buttered and toasted perfectly and held up to being dunked in more butter! Overall this lobster roll was it really good and we highly recommend stopping at the little Seaside lobster place.

We were a table of 7 and they took great care of us!! We had lobster rolls, crab cakes, fried shrimp and fish and chips, we loved all of it!! We all agreed this is one of the best restaurants we have visited in Maine and it has a great view of the beach and ferry boat!

Very disappointing dining experience. The food was average, my lobster stew was ok, but at $32 I felt it was extremely overpriced and really was just a bunch of cream, butter and lobster hastily thrown together. I couldn't really taste anything other than cream & butter. At $32 I was expecting a much larger portion - I've had lobster bisque at a couple of other mid-coast restaurants and only paid up to $24 and frankly it was more interesting. My dining partner's lobster was good and served in a nice pot. Once again, this lobster was about 30% more expensive than what you'd find 5 miles down the road. The counter service ordering went smoothly, but most of the outdoor picnic tables were filled with dirty dishes. I sat at one table for 5 minutes waiting for someone to clean it; that never happened even though the servers were bringing out food to other patrons. I had to clean my own table and wipe it down - it wasn't until the end of the evening (the restaurant was never very crowded) that someone came out to start making some progress on cleaning the dirty picnic tablesThe servers were not friendly at all - they just dropped the food and disappeared. We needed salt/pepper, as it was not on our table and we couldn't find any outside. I wanted another beer and had to wait in the ordering line that was 5 people deep - it sure would have been convenient for someone to bring me that 2nd beer instead of waiting in a 10 minute line.Bottom line - way, way overpriced, but you're really not getting anything for the inflated prices. You can go to Claws in Rockland and have a MUCH better dining experience: good food, fair prices, friendly servers, clean tables. good view

Enjoyed lunch inside. Due to short staff you order at counter and food is delivered to table. Very good fried seafood and chowder. Prices were a bit high but the seaside view was excellent.

It was our First Lobster on the trip and the day Elsa landed in Maine. The owners/manager magnificent!! The entire staff friendly, attentive and fabulous!!I had the lobster roll and soup, the other two had the big and small lobster.First time I've ate at the Lobster Pound in my visits to Maine but definitely won't be my last!! Here is a photo of one of my travel partners enjoying a great meal and the being a lobster. And let me say the view is amazing! The Bonus was we caught a night of Live Music! They even have a nice gift selection and came home with a few things.

I love the vibe. Very beachy and relaxed but (who I'm assuming is) the owner is a hoot. The food was fantastic and fast. Wasn't expecting the rat pack soundtrack but it fits the owner very well and was well curated. Did I mention the food was fantastic? I had the lobster stew with giant chunks of fresh lobster and the bf had a crab roll. 10/10 would do again. Also has a nice little beach to laze on and recover if you eat too much. They also have an amazing little merch shop with tons of great stuff at decent prices.

Nice waterside location with cute gift shop. Really liked how they delivered the food. Would have liked to have the lobsters scored just to make things a little easier. Very clean and plenty of seating indoor or outdoor. Adjacent to a public beach.

Been there every Summer for more than 20 years. Always a joy. Seafood, particularly Lobster is awesome. I tried the steak quesadilla, and it was a treat and change of pace. Sat outside, and felt safe and comfortable. Ocean views and ferry added charm.

We went in for a very early dinner on a Friday in mid June.It wasn’t terribly crowded and we were seated promptly. We sat inside in the corner, facing the bay.Kaylee was our waitress. She was very helpful with the menu, and very friendly. She even gave us tips on how to properly eat all of the lobster! All of the weight staff that we met were very friendly.Service was prompt. The clam chowder tasted great, the steamed clams were good. The lobsters with the drawn butter sauce was awesome! The dinners came with red potatoes and corn. The potatoes were awesome. I never ate the corn.I was full!I would recommend this place.

We enjoyed the 8 oz lobster roll! It was the best we ever tasted! It was very pricey but thought it was worth every penny! If you find yourself in the area, we would highly recommend stopping in to savor this luscious sandwich

The waitress was upset that she didn't get paided her 20 percent. Apparently they work on 20 percent tips not hourly there. The scallops were huge, not cooked...they were cooked from frozen which maybe we can understand. The bowel of Lobster bisque..was a cup to me. Compared to other places along Maine. This place had a server with an attitude and was acting like a very entitled person. Good looks may get you in the door my dear, but one word out of your mouth gets the door slammed in your face. Also to the owners of it's an expectation you may want to have it posted..not everyone is from Maine..do.your business a favourite and post it that it is suggested, mandatory, or put it on your debit machine. Customers work hard for their money and you have no idea who can afford or not afford. Yes you did loose out on this one, not by us not according but because we don't reward bad behaviour.

We did not have lobster so cannot comment on that. I had the haddock sandwich and my companion had clam chowder. It was a generous serving but I am pretty sure the haddock was frozen. As a Mainer I am used to the fresh and the taste and texture just isn't the same. The restaurant was clean and right on the beach so that was a plus. We waited quite a while for our food and our check even though they weren't super busy. They may have been short staffed the day we were there.

We have gone to the restaurant under former management the last 2 years and we so disappointed. So pleasantly surprised this time! Dinner was excellent and the staff was great. This will be a repeat treat any time we're in the Camden area. The mussels were cooked just right. I had blackened haddock, so flavorful. We will be recommending the Lobster Pound to friends and family for sure.Thank you for returning this great stop to its former stateParking: Very large lot. We have never found parking a problemWheelchair accessibility: No steps. Just roll in and through to the dining room.

Nice view! Beautiful view & cute gift shop! All the food was good except the lobster rolls weren't what we expected. ( to much lemon , no butter or mayonnaise/ very different but eatable)... The fried seafood was great & also the lobster tail dinners were good. We had a party of 5 so we got to try many things off the menu & shared. Wait time wasnt to bad considering our order & how big it was. The only major complaint was the stressful attitude of the assistant manager Althea. We asked a question & she was very rude, raised her voice ,. Super inpatient. Another staff member witnessed this & even felt bad / she apologized that we were treated that way by her co -worker.. So the higher up staff seem very stressed & tense. ( You order at the counter & we got our own table, seated ourselves ,got our own napkins & water which is fine . Once the younger staff server came along she was very chipper, bubbly & happy to assist. Over all we liked it enough were we will go again.
