Highly recommend! Our intimate wedding dinner took place at this magnificent property and it was beyond perfect! Bettina, McKenzie and team were attentive from wine selection through table settings. We didn't have to worry on the big day and that was worth millions! Whether you're visiting for a bottle of wine, a walk of the gorgeous property or a function, you can't go wrong. It's the most beautiful backdrop for whatever you have planned.

The most lovely, accommodating, beautiful winery ever! Such a wonderful experience upon checking in all staff were soooo nice and friendly. They helped us right away and gave us free wine for our bday celebration and helped us get settled at an outdoor table for a tasting. They helped us purchase wine and then open the bottle and walk around the grounds with it. Was such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and not to mention a stunning brand new interior. 10/10 would recommend—we will be back!

Love this winery. First time back since pandemic (2020). Recommended to make reservations but they do allow walk-ins. Can have your tastings inside or outside and there are some goodies for sale as well. Enjoy relaxing walk (or can drive) down to the winery. All the decorations and gifts are beautiful and you are sure to want to bring home a bottle or two (or a case) along with gifts. Enjoy.

We were lucky enough to get tickets to “Full Circle” dinner at Cellardoor Winery in partnership with Walkers Maine as our first ever visit to Cellardoor, and we were blown away by everyone involved. The venue itself is beyond gorgeous. The pond and surrounding area was filled with fall colors, and you can see the vineyards in the background. The barn itself is pretty much original and beautifully restored / maintained. Everything from the chandeliers to stools is beautiful inside. The staff was so amazingly friendly and attentive, and all the fellow guests were also so welcoming to us out of towners. We hear this was their first event back after Covid, and it was beautifully done. The wines were beautifully paired with each app, entree, and dessert. Each course and app and wine was amazing!!! We appreciated the Chefs coming out to talk about the swordfish and the short rib preparations. The reserve red was so incredible - I wish I had bought some bottles to enjoy for the occasional after-work glass of wine.I wish we lived nearby to go there often, but for now, it’s just a beautiful evening during our honeymoon!Thank you Cellardoor team for everything!!!

Off route one it is a beautiful winery with a great assortment of wines to taste.Wine tastings, paired special dinners, events under cover in the vineyard and a nice shop. Worth the visit to taste their award winning wines.

The Ned Said Red 2017 blend was most excellent. My second favorite was the Cab Sauv 2017. Gorgeous views of the vineyard. While most of the wines we sampled were not local to Maine, Cellardoor DOES have their own vintages, we just prefer more grape-based wines than fruit-based. They have a great selection of multiple types of wines. Recommended!

This is a fabulous winery! The place itself is stunning. Beautiful details and finishes in every corner. There are many places to choose to sit for your tasting; lawn, deck, patio, vineyard bar, tasting room, etc...You can chose one of 3 pre-selected flights, but they are happy to check on you and bring you other tastings if there if something you wanted to try not on your list. They also offer wine by the glass, beer, and snacks for sale. Wander around and take in the entire venue and property. It's impressive. The employees were all friendly, respectful, and helped make our visit a wonderful afternoon.

Stopped at this fabulous winery during my annual girls trip. Bettina, the owner, and her staff were amazing! They were welcoming, helpful, friendly & hilarious. All of the guests who my friends and I came in contact with, were all kind and engaging which shows the spirit of Linconville. Beautiful panoramic views of the vineyard and the main building makes this a spectacular venue.

Awesome vineyard with a cool story and delicious wine! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area, reasonable prices and friendly staff, only spent an afternoon there but it’s set up would def be awesome to have an event at!

Outstanding establishment! This winery is definitely off the beaten path but well worth the visit. The tasting area is rustic and gorgeous. There is also a nice patio overlooking the vineyard and the rolling Maine hills off in the distance. The tastings are mostly complimentary and prices for food and additional glasses of wine are quite reasonable. I would highly recommend a visit here!

This winery is a true gem in the area. We have been to Napa and Willamette and this is up there on our favorites list. Beautiful views, beautifully designed and decorated building and grounds, helpful and welcoming staff, and the wine is great! Highly recommend the Unoaked Chardonnay.

This place was strange. We needed reservations, but there were lots of open seats....but they seated us like a restaurant. BUT after that, we were all on our own. They do self guided tastings with pre-poured plastic to go cups (not weird to do a self guided tasting but the other wineries we've been to that have done this have given us a flight of wines in glasses poured from the bottle when we order, these cups were stacked by the dozens behind the counter so no telling when they were actually poured). And the snacks are all pre-made in a cooler with crackers and such for purchase. Kinda felt like a bunch of short cuts to save time but left us feeling as if we were just on an assembly line. The location and inside were lovely. Overall, a weird but not horrible experience. I wouldn't come back though. The staff were also pretty cold except for the one sweet lady that sat us.

First, I have always loved visiting this winery & make it a regular stop when in the area. I’ve been visiting Cellardoor since the early 2000s. But the last time I was there I was snubbed. That’s the only explanation I have for how I felt I was treated. To be fair, I was by myself & just off a hike. But it wasn’t the first time I came into the establishment that way, & in the past I’ve always been treated respectfully & just kind of felt like an old friend. This time I was looked at, often, by employees who never acknowledged me but showered other people with attention. I stood in line waiting to buy my 2 bottles of wine for a long time, again, actually being looked at then turned away from. When someone did finally ask what I was waiting for (that’s how she put it), I said I just wanted to buy these two bottles of wine. No smile nor welcoming vibe. I felt like I was bothering her. When I mentioned how I felt, she argued with me, versus trying to adjust the situation. She explained why the way I was feeling was erroneous, which of course made me feel even worse for mentioning it. Couldn’t wait to get the heck out of Dodge!I’ve done quite well for myself over the years (business-wise) and wouldn’t dream of treating someone who was feeling undermined (for whatever reason) the way I was treated. It’s not conducive to personal success nor the success of an establishment.I was going to let it go, after all, I had a great stay in Maine outside of this experience, but then decided to speak my peace.I’ve never seen the girls who I believe were ignoring me on my recent visit to Cellardoor. I’ll volley this whole thing back to them. I wasn’t overly impressed with their customer service skills either.Anyway, I ended up giving away the two bottles to a parking attendant in Boston. Wine is symbolic & ceremonial, as well as a tasty treat. Didn’t want the negative mojo associated with it this time.I did favorably highlight Cellardoor on a Camden website recently. And I will return there on my next visit. I’m not going to let 20 years of favorable experiences get ruined by one poor experience. And I’m not going to deter others from going who would probably have the same favorable experience I’ve typically had. But I am calling them out for this behavior. Let’s hope for better luck next time.Gail

A well groomed, clean place with friendly, helpful people. The gift store is large, well stocked. The Tasting is not overly priced.I visited 10/23 while the fall colors were vibrant and pretty as they were abundant around the place. The place sits atop a hill and visitors can enjoy the view of the valley below as well as the mountains in the background while chatting with friends, family, the staff, or while making new friends.

We stumbled upon this vineyard last weekend. We cannot wait to return. The views are stunning and the wine is delicious. Highly recommend bringing your bottle down to where the grapevines are. Staff was great, but in particular, Jilly Bean was so fun and gave us some great recommendations of other places to visit.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Cellardoor during our holiday to Camden. Beautiful scenery overlooking the mountains while sipping some rose! The staff was very friendly and were more than accommodating to our dog (she loved the buddy biscuits). Felt safe during COVID 19 - reservation only seating was socially distanced very well outside, and I saw them disinfect railings/door knobs. Self guided wine tasting was fun and reasonably priced.

Absolutely fantastic experience, 4 courses and four wines for $40 is unbeatable value. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, bringing out additional wines they wanted us to try was a very welcome addition to the tasting. While not mind-blowing, the meal was substantial, homely, and paired nicely with the wines we tried. I am 100% looking forward to coming back to Cellardoor next time I am in town!

We went for the self-guided wine tasting on a Sunday afternoon. Made a reservation for outside but luckily was able to sit inside at the bar instead as it was really too hot to linger in the sun drinking wine. The view is spectacular, though, even from inside and the bar itself is gorgeous. We both tried one of the pre-set flights, one of whites and the special with both reds and whites. The wines were all good, and it was nice to be able to try them. I do wish the tasting notes were a little more detailed since it's self guided and I'm very much a wine novice. I found myself googling for information as I went (but hey, there's free wifi so that's nice). We also browsed their little selection of retail goods, which range from some nice kitchen/entertaining items to an alarming amount of "wine mom" items where the punchline is alcoholism.

3 hour round trip from our home in Bangor. Loved it last time we were here, no doubt beautiful views. There was a red headed lady at the front desk that was so rude because we weren’t sure the menu or our seats, which how are we supposed to know without asking? So we didn’t stay for more than 20 minutes before turning around. Probably won’t be back.

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. Didn't get to try the wine since our business was so unwanted apparently. Gorgeous scenery though! Probably would of been highly enjoyable with a glass of wine.

We had a marvelous time at the winery & enjoyed all their wines. We stayed at Blue Harbor House B & B in Camden & they have Cellardoor wines in their honor bar. McKenzie was great & checked in on us several time as well as the owner, Bettina. McKenzie, Matt & Michelle enjoyed our story of our visit & the “special” treatment you gave the four of us. Jill, Pierce, Hank & Janet. Thanks again!!!

One of the coolest things we did in the area! Grab a bottle of wine and sit down at the vineyard! So beautiful.

The staff here is amazing and so accommodating! We went to Maine for our mini-moon and they happened to be closed the days we were going. I reached out and they offered to open the doors just for my husband and I to enjoy a bottle of wine together. Couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating, romantic experience! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, especially with the foliage. We had such an amazing time and want to thank Devon so much for our once in a lifetime experience!

This was such a bizarre experience. First impressions are definitely great when you drive up to the property. Walk in and it's super fancy looking. Very well dressed. My wife and I both decided to order a red wine flight and imagine our confusion when we're given a tiny lunch tray with what looked at first like jello shots. But this was in fact the flight. You take your lunch tray, a single glass to mix all your wine remnants into...and make your way to your table... That we didn't get to really choose. The food was pre-packaged in a cooler that we just bought and brought to the table. At the very least, the little snack tray was pretty tasty. Maybe we were just hungry, who knows. For a place that requires reservations (there was plenty of seating when we arrived) I suppose I was expecting a more memorable experience. So let's recap:Nice grounds, pretty nice viewsFlights in jello cups?Pre-packaged food. As far as I know nothing is prepared for you.Bussed our own table. No big deal. And the woman who checked us in and cashed us out just exuded a vibe that our presence annoyed her.3/5 probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

The place is beautiful. We were a bit disappointed that they charge for tastings now and that you can't exactly pick the wines that you want to try. Either all whites, all reds or 3 red/2 white. What if you only want to taste 1 red and 4 whites?

This place is beautiful—a really stunning location and facility. The wine is very good, and we have been here many times. That being said, we have had two unpleasant recent experiences. Twice now over the last four months, we followed the Welcome Sign to the retail store to purchase wine. The first time we were turned away and dismissed because we didn’t have a reservation. Today, we entered through the door with the welcome sign, browsed for about 5 minutes before the staff member confronted us about how we got in, asked about a reservation, then told us to leave because they are closed for the season? Our friends—who we advised to visit this place a few weeks ago—were also dismissed by an unfriendly employee, who wasn’t friendly, hospitable, or flexible. We have always recommend this location to those visiting this area, but frankly they make it hard to support them. How you treat people matters, and when you have closed your Portland tasting room and are being adversely impacted by the pandemic, you need to get your communication and customer service together and let people buy your products. You can do better!
