I only used them once yesterday but I’m switching over today! They seemed amazing a little jumbled but there is a problem with Mainecare right now so I totally understand! Even with the issues, they still filled my prescription within the hour of getting it from my doctor. Very friendly staff they really seemed to care!

The worst pharmacy in the area - difficult to work with and incredibly poor customer service. Provided expired medication and then refused to replace without charging (even after already getting prior approval). Stopped billing through insurance in order to charge full price without any notification. Only able to get away with being such a nightmare to deal with is because they are the only one in the area that compounds medications.EDITED TO RESPOND TO COMMENT:1. I called to put in a request two days before the intended pick up which your employee said would give the message to Dave... Which they obviously didn't. This meant when we showed up two days later to get the prescription (so it wouldn't sit all weekend) it wasn't ready due to poor communication in your office.2. We NEVER authorized auto refill due to the medication dosage changing every few months. YOU took it upon yourself to put our medication on auto refill to make YOUR life easier. This then resulted in you making a refill BEFORE we needed it.3. When we did put in a refill request and picked it up two days later, you gave us a bottle that your made 2.5 weeks prior (without our request or knowledge). When I called and talked to your employee, she understood and offered a free bottle. We were not able to get into town that week (over a 30 minute drive away) to pick up during your open hours. I said I would use the current one since it hadn't expired yet (its only good for 30 days) but I would call to request the new bottle within the next 10 days when we can get into town. This was agreed upon (no shipping option was offered to us).4. When I called for the refill, you waited until Friday (the day to pick up the meds) to contact me, stating you would not authorize the free bottle even though it was already agreed upon BASED ON YOUR SCREW UP. The options you provided were not appropriate due to the issue: 1. get a new bottle but still pay 50% of the cost, 2. get a new bottle that is only good for 2 weeks, resulting with us making additional trips to then pick up another one after that, 3. ship 2 weeks worth of a free bottle and be without medication if the meds did not arrive next day (this was Friday afternoon so no guarantee it would be delivered on a Saturday and the medication needs to be refrigerated). When I said those were not appropriate solutions to the issue that you caused, you kicked us out of getting the meds refilled there again with one month's worth as a parting gift (which was delivered probably so I wouldn't make a scene going into the business).5. Then after all of this, I called my insurance to find another compounding pharmacy in the area that worked with my insurance plan. Come to find out, they had not been submitting any prescriptions through my insurance for 4 months (since June) and charging us the full price! The script had been going through my insurance since January so they chose to stop sending it and charge me full price without any notice (we were not immediately aware of this due to a dosage change in June - we thought the new price was high but was not aware it was not just high because of the dose but because they were not sending through insurance and never notified us of this or provided any cost breakdown).The business can spin this all they want but this is a disgusting way to do business with HORRIBLE customer service.. with the owner LANA being the worst of them (Dave was actually wonderful to work with and always helpful). I have never been so disrespected as a customer trying to get medication for her son. This recount of events is not a lie and I have a paper trail and phone records to prove it.

Got my medicine done in fast manner!! Staff workers are very polite & respectful!! They keep you updated on what's going on with your prescriptions. I definitely would recommend them

I am grateful for the service I received today from the Medicine Shoppe. I needed a prescription filled ASAP, and they were able to do so. I appreciate their ability to help me on extremely short notice. Thank you for caring for me today!

Was told day before my compounded medication for my daughter would be ready at 10am. Here is is 12:30pm and prescription is not ready. Neither is anybodys medication that has come in before me. Super disorganized. Dont tell people medications will be ready and not have them ready for time said as I've been waiting for this medication for about 2 weeks. I plan to go elsewhere this is absolutely ridiculous. And the pharmacist had the nerve to act like she was in the right and that I was over reacting. Horrible custimer service. I do not recommend this place for your medication needs.

This is the 2nd time picking up my husband's prescription and the customer service is the worst I've ever seen,they don't want to lift a finger to assist you,and the young girl in the rear of the pharmacy just mocks you and laughs when you ask the front girl why is it not ready. This place is also dirty(should be reported to state to health dept), this will be the last time I step in here.

The service was great and you were the only pharmacy to have my prescription! We called around 25 pharmacies and all were back ordered, even my mail in order pharmacy!

Unlike some other pharmacies in the area, this one doesn't allow weapons. Made for an awkward moment when I walked 30 minutes there only to have to turn around when I saw the sign on the door. I understand why they may have this policy but robbers don't care about it and people who carry concealed can't use their store because of it. It's a competent pharmacy that loses 2 stars due to being inaccessible to part of the public.

Avoid the crowds in larger pharmacies and enjoy the friendly, professional and helpful staff! My first time here…..but I’m glad I made the switch!

REALLY ANNOYING that they are only open 9-5, Monday-Friday! They're directly across the street from St. Mary's hospital, so you would think they'd be open more often, for patients and visitors! They are also an Amazon hub, so if you get a package delivered there, make sure you take time off from work!

This is a small no frills pharmacy geared to the clients of mercy hospital. No snacks smokes or sundries here, just your meds from knowledgable staff willing to go the extra mile.

This place is more like your neighborhood pharmacy the ppl are very personal and they don't act like robots it takes some getting g used too but they are over worked so sometimes not always on Time also closed on weekends
