Gross, dirty store. The owners clearly don’t care about the customer experience. Perhaps they should just take a walk through. It smells like trash, the staff is rude, and it just plain dirty. Don’t waste your time or money supporting this business. One step into the vestibule and the stank hits you like a wall!!! Disgusting!!!!

I grew up near a Save A Lot and it was atrocious. It soured me from going to other locations. I gave this one a shot and it was a pleasant surprise. The employees certainly care more about the store, products, and overall cleanliness than the one I grew up near.

So sorry that Save a Lot store's across Maine closed. Loved their bargains. Had to be in Lewiston for an appointment and saw there was a Save a Lot in town. This store is super clean. Well laid out, had very nice staff (helpful and smiling!)and had everything I needed. The meats looked very good (although I didn't need any this time). Bargains in name brand goods and good quality non-name brands that compete well for taste. Worth a visit.

Prices are good for all non-perishables as well as the produce section. However, it is a 75% chance that you will get rotten meat or dairy items.

I always liked shopping there and saving money. I find the store clean (before covid) and it was easy to find items. A few years later, I decided to work there. I had a good work experience. My time was short and ended well. So well, that I still go there for my main grocery shopping.

I'm new to this area and only had experience with the Portland so actually dodged this market for a couple of months do to my experience at other locations. I'm pleased to say I was very pleasantly surprised though I easily saved $100 on a $300 or so dollar grocery trip, and to be honest the quality of the product was not any less than anywhere else where I would have paid double the price. There's not the biggest selection but there were plenty of items that I buy regularly that made a big enough price difference that I will go back and continue to get a lot of items at this store. my only complaint as I said as there's not a huge selection... but the meat was excellent quality, the produce I got was excellent quality and my kiddos prefer several items made by this brand including the yogurt sticks, macaroni and cheese, Pop-Tarts, cereal, juice and quite a few snack options as well. I'm kicking myself in the butt for the many months I refuse to go to the store based on experiences from the past. I could have been saving a couple hundred dollars a month all along.

I like it, if you don't have a ton of money to spend and have a large family to feed its a good place to go as far as the quality of the products it's kind of hit or miss they have things that are as good or better than the name brands and they have stuff that isn't which I find that with any items at any store. They also have competitive prices on almost everything.

Fair prices. Brand name items can be hard to find but some of their store name brand products are ok depending on what it is. Most of their fresh meats are good quality and would recommend

I go here often. Fair prices for sure. I'd compare it to walmart prices. You don't have to wait a long time in line either. So five stars from me.

Not a huge store, but carry a good variety of goods. Americas Choice is an excellent brand that they started carrying. Clean and neat. Good deals on meat most weeks.

Reasonable prices, good produce, good meats, limited selection, but good overall. You do have to purchase bags, or use available boxes, and pack your own stuff.

I don't care what anyone says about this place, it's my go-to for items that I may need if I don't want to go to Walmart. The employees are super friendly too.*I'm not above knock-off brands*

Pleasant place to shop..i can find almost anything there..reasonably priced and cashiers have patience when I'm having a "diffacult day". Only one complaint...no avocados..lol

You may have to beg but you truly do save 40% over chain groceries like Shaws and Hannaford. Yes limited selections but I can get 90% of what i need.

A good place to go for low priced food. It's not the best cut of meats.. but the prices are right.. Also a bill pay Center.
