Martens is one great store. You never know what they will have and you may find some great deals. The ladies shoe dept usually has lots of shoes and great prices. Like I said you never know what you will find. There are many one of a kind items. The slogan is "I should have bought it when I saw it at Mardens" .

Like they say you should have bought it at maidens. I always try to go there first before other stores. They have so much different items. I love to go there for my yarn. They have top of the line quality for less. And their material is great. They have so many options, different seasons material. It’s a quilter’s paradise. They have a huge parking lot. And they also have electric wheelchairs.

Great shout-out to the Marden’s spokeswoman for giving me a boost on the deals you can find!🙃😍🙃 The people who work there are kind and respectful to every customer who comes to shop there no matter what happens. I heard some children cry but the employees calms them down and assures them you will get your way even if the parent(s) tells them it’s okay to cry. Again, great job for the spokeswoman for me and the employees + the customers who come in!

What's not to like? All kinds of stuff at bargain prices. Mardens is the place to go if you're looking for deals, or if you just can't afford to go to a retail store.The only complaint I have is that it's so crowded! I'm going back. This quality non stick pan is a game changer for pancakes!- $9!!!! Just so much to choose from! From food to clothes to cool little gadgets and everything in between.

Always an adventure when I go to Marden's! Great bargain place for kitchen ware, hardware, furniture, housewares and snacks. You never know what you will find. Lines can grow long but moves along quite efficiently. Customer service is always friendly and helpful. One of my favorite shopping therapies!

I love mardens.I do lots of quilts & use tons of fabric panels.They're like any other business short on help but they scrambled to find me someone that knew fabric.

You never know what you'll find at Marden's and yes, if you find something you like, buy before it's gone. Inventory has a quick turnover.I found the store very well organized with wide aisles. Shelves were neatly filled with kitchen items, home decor, linens, foods/candy, clothing, shoes, toys- and some pretty cool Halloween accessories and decorative items.You can always find great deals in their furniture and flooring departments too!Convenient location, plenty of parking, and friendly employees.

About 9 months ago I bought a a sectional 3 now the other one has stopped now the I paid a lot of money for I bought it 1400 this should not ever I live alone with a little dog so it wasn't like it was overused at all

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes there's great deals and other times there's stuff priced higher than at regular stores (as opposed to a discount store).

If your up for a treasure hunt amongst the good markdown prices, load of new arrivals of damaged returns from places like target, liquidation items from closing stores and truck loads of everything from fabrics to shoes try it. One visit to as for material what a great find! And another tine it was a quick out of the way must stop in.Thank you friendly clerk! I ran in to check books and toys, they were closing she was very helpful!!

I like to browse through Marden's ever once in a while just to see if I can find that one diamond in a rough.Plus I can find my craft spray paints there sometimes and when I do I save big $$$

I used to work there. Not as great as it used to be, especially with the prices on some things, and the current layout of the place...But you still find awesome stuff. Best deals around for a variety of fabrics

Alright - love hate relationship here. Hate that they drain my bank account every time I go, but love the deals. They have everything needed for a light apartment remodel to coffee makers and canned goods. If you see it just buy it. Because if you don't it won't be there the next time you go. Also - great deals on plants but that's just their secret to get you through the front door.

Salvage of a variety of items. Departments: clothing, fabric, housewares, flooring, tools, furniture, etc. You can find some deals here for some good prices. Organization of items could be better.

Went there looking for a door, and there was several to choose from, but...... what do you usually go to Mardens for. Looking for deals. Right. Well I don't consider 597.00 for a door with a reguar square window in it a deal. When I asked a store employee if that was the right price he said yes, I told him I could get that same style door at one of the box stores for 349 plus tax he rudley replied "then I'd buy it". So I told him I will and away I went. So I didn't buy it when I saw it at Mardens.

Always a great place to shop! Don't get caught saying, "I should have bought it when I saw it." is their slogan. Most of their stuff is salvaged merchandise, so many items are one of a kind or limited supply. One never knows what is in the store at any given time. Some staples are furniture, flooring, shoes, clothing electronics, etc.

I found it incredibly crowded. The only thing that changed since the last time I went, were the prices. I did manage to buy a few things, but prices for furniture were too high.

I have never seen a Marden's this big before in Lewiston Maine. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I had to ask my friend to pinch me just to make sure I was alive LOL. So much awesome stuff and not enough time. This building has at least a thousand square feet of merchandise in it, including the basement floor level. If you plan on coming here give yourself at least 2 hours and plan on leaving with two shopping carts. I will be back here again and again ❤️

Good junk shop, but it's absolutely terrible if you are mobility challenged. There are items crowding the isles, a whole floor is unaccessable, the furniture section doesn’t have wheelchair accessible spaces, I worried about getting stuck and knocking things over constantly.

If you live in Maine you've almost certainly been to Mardens. Full of deals and a lot of fun to bargain hunt. They are a great place for food, clothes, home goods, flooring and random electronics.
