The sign said open Easter 12-8 we pulled around at 12:22 and they were closed. Checked their Facebook which also said they were open, attempted to call, no answer.

Bad experience. Not enough people for the drive through and window. Waited forever. They ran out of slushee mix for my freeze, and i overheard them talking about just add the water to the icecream. Very sad to hear that as a customer they don’t care what they’re serving you. And they messed up all my sundays, barely any fudge and so messy from the rush. Just terrible and bad service. Better to wait at dairy joy.

So delicious! Stopped here for the first time and was not disappointed! Good flavor selection with lots of classic flavors. I ordered pistachio and it had great taste and lots of nuts. Seems like a very popular place, there were lots of cars and other people ordering. Great sizes too! I got a small cone and it was plenty! I could have gone with a baby cone and would have been happy. I was glad to see they are now open for the season and I plan to return as many times as I can!

Usually my favorite place for soft serve but lately their soft serve is not fluffy and smooth it's very icy and chunky. Not as good this season. Even my 2.5 year old who never has a problem eating her ice cream has been saying "my mouth is too cold!" It's way too icy. Not worth it for the price.Edited to add I got my creamy replacement tonight! Very delicious! Thank you Dairy Treat! ❤️

Great ice cream, they have a walk up and a drive through. The staff is always friendly and their portions and prices are great.I wish the outdoor eating area was a bit nicer, it's in the back, and the drive through cars make a line around you which makes you feel a little like you're on display and breathing in their exhaust. There is another small eating area on the side but it was full of trash last time we went.In any case, we love this little ice cream place.

This place is located on main street in Richmond, street parking (don't have to pay) and always busy during summer season.I absolutely LOVE the dark chocolate raspberry ice cream. Prices are fair.When it comes to staff.... it depends on the season so; you can get a really good crew one year or a bunch of non-working teenagers that don't really care.About 5 years ago there was a terrific girl but, she went off to college. It really is a hit or miss with staff - Tim runs a fantastic business and I love that when the season comes to an end, the last day or week, ice cream is just $1Grab some ice cream and enjoy it walking on Swan Island!

Snotty high school girls. Possibly college? First time I ever went and last time I will ever go. No smiles, no hi. Ask a question if they have something particular and got a “yup” and that was it. Not offering the flavors. Had to ask what flavors. Asked for a cup for the medium hard serve I was bringing someone, got the smallest cup and it was already melting over as I got it from the window. Had to throw it out my car window as i I pulled out of the parking lot cause it was leaking everywhere. Never again

My wife and I have been three times in the last two weeks. Each time the soft serve ice cream has been sooo cold and flavorless. Even too cold to enjoy. Usually really good but the last three times have been disappointing

Ignored my A1C and went for a hot fudge sundae. Sorry I did it. Hot fudge was not a rich quality hot fudge. Please if you are going to sell these products use good quality ingredients. Raise the price if you have to, but make it taste really good or don't bother.

So, so bad. I went here on my lunch break at work the other day. 85 degree day , one person working and the line was backed up to almost the road. I felt bad for the girl but they should have been more prepared given the weather. I got a “specialty” mix-in that cost extra for some reason. It was peanut butter and Oreo. Peanut butter flavor is almost non-existing. It tastes like vanilla. It’s a shame that you charge extra for that. Today, I gave the benefit of the doubt and went back. I tried a mint Oreo mix in this time. It literally tasted like I was squeezing toothpaste in my mouth. Portions are good and staff is friendly, only reason why I am giving two, not one star.

FYI, the small is pretty big. Serving sizes overall are more than we expected. But the service was great and the flavors were awesome. Will stop back by if I go through the area again. :)

This is a great place to stop in when you have a hankering for hard serve, homemade ice cream. They have a fairly long list of available flavors in hard serve and several soft serve flavors as well. The prices are reasonable as are the serving sizes.

Thus place is the perfect example of good not great. Everything about it is average. Average price and average taste. They do have wonderful employees and customer service. But overall this ice cream stop is average.

Very good. Plenty of places to sit. They even have a drive threw for the lazy ice cream makers. But still a good place to get ice cream

Make their own hard serve, a ton of flavors and it is a quality product. If there wasn't a giffords in the area it would be my favorite.Soft serve is the same as every other place, consistent mediocrity and not quite as good as DQ.Always worth a stop in, staff is always friendly.If I were going to look for a gripe it would be that I think they serve the drive through folks out of turn, so if there is a line and no one in the drive through hop in the drive through and I'd wager you get served right away.
